Peaceful location, plenty of space for a game of cricket and for morning walks. Sarah was a friendly and responsive host. R The home has everything you need for a comfortable stay with plenty of room. Would certainly stay here again!

Aretha and Joe make a big effort to engage with the guests to ensure they have everything they need (and more). Nothing seems to be too much trouble. They were flexible with our accommodation arrangements and added many personal touches to make my birthday weekend special.

Our stay was amazing, the location instructions were communicated perfectly, the house was very accessible and everything was ready for our stay. It was so tranquil waking up to a fresh peaceful morning with the farm animals and wildlife joining you for your morning coffee. This property is a perfect location for a family farm stay, or a quick weekend away from the city.

This is the second time we have stayed with this host, both times have been fantastic. This home was clean and well styled. Everything was clean and well taken care of. The breakfast starter kit was very appreciated. Roberta was accomodating and flexible. We will stay here again.

It seems that we have rated Cara's place very well and five stars, that's because it has earned this rating. From the moment we drove in the gate we loved it. It was my wife's 70th birthday celebration and her family all arrived the following day. They were in awe as much as we were. The perfect place for a family gathering, relaxation, beautiful views. The house - everything - was amazing! There was no way anyone wanted to leave and we are already hoping for a return soon. We absolutely loved the kitchen and it was so easy to prepare a High Tea for the morning and birthday cake, and then a roast dinner at night. Cosy fire at night. Thank you so much. We had a great time at Avalon. We came to Stanthorpe for a wedding and the house was in a great location for what we needed. The dogs enjoyed their holiday too. The house was very accommodating and was quite roomy. It had everything you needed. Thanks to Teresa for all her help and advice and the lovely cheese platter. Thanks Ros for making your home welcome to our furbabies. We would gladly come back again.

Such a beautiful escape from the city, everything was in immaculate condition. Our girls were thrilled to be greeted in the morning by joeys & mountain kangaroo. They loved looking out to the chicken pen. Everyone loved the hot tub. The skylight view was beautiful in the evening. It did take a few turns for our daughters to adjust to the long drop toilet but overall, highly recommended. Definitely a must for couples!
