This was an exceptional rental space. The attention to detail was impressive - small touches like dog dishes, a room diffuser, and a thoughtful selection of teas and coffee made the space feel truly well-prepared. The heating was on immediately upon arrival, which created an instant sense of comfort. Everything was exceptionally clean and organized. What really elevated the experience was Anna Marie's communication - she was consistently responsive and genuinely kind. From practical amenities to the overall thoughtful design, this was a standout rental that clearly prioritizes guest experience.

Perfect for a well needed night of rest, was so comfortable, and had everything I could have needed! Views of the mountain were amazing and the location is very quiet and private. I’ll be sure to return if I visit the area again.

Nice place. Spacious kitchen. Two queen size beds and one single bed. Richard was kind enough to let us use a travel crib for our baby. AC/heater in individual bed rooms were also nice. There were plenty of blankets as well. Walkable to the supermarket and an Indian restaurant (both highly recommended). Felt very safe.

Cute apartment in an historic building. An easy walk to downtown and we enjoyed being close to the railway, we love the sound of a train. (Light sleepers take note: there weren’t a lot of trains coming through but you do hear them when they do.). The king size bed was very comfortable and the towels were nice and thick.

The Butterfly’s Rest was a peaceful, beautiful appt. Perfect for celebrating my daughter’s birthday. Will definitely book again. We loved it!

We loved everything about our stay and the hospitality of our hostess Thyra. Thyra was extremely responsive to any messages we sent and questions we asked. We took Thyra up on complimentary breakfast items and made breakfast before going and exploring the gorgeous water falls that are just a short walk away. We were uneasy about some winter storm warnings and Thyra provided clear instructions for how to get to the house on the first night and was responsive to our late night messages towards our arrival. We enjoyed our stay and we plan on booking with Thyra again very soon!

This place is great, especially for the price. While it's just a 1 bedroom apartment, it feels much bigger than the photos show, especially the bedroom. The bed is super comfy and the bedroom doesn't share a wall with neighbors, just the carports, it's quiet. It's within reasonable walking distance to all the shops, restaurants, etc. The shower has the strongest water pressure of any shower I've ever been in. It's amazing. I'll definitely stay here again if it's available.

Our second stay. The space is very comfortable and cozy. Our dogs were very happy to stay again. Very close to downtown. Lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance.

This place is all time. Our highlights. 2 minute walk to the main town strip with shops, restaurants, gear shops/rentals/etc, and..... crystals!! The views out the bedroom and living room are unbeatable. Small but FULLY capable kitchen with nice pots/pans/dishes/coffee/etc table for 2. Bed and bedroom are very comfortable. Place was very clean. It is near the train tracks (as with EVERYTHING in Mt. Shasta), but it's actually not too bad.

It was a sweet beautiful little spot and within driving distance to all the waterfalls I was hoping to see. She was also very responsive anytime I reached out.

Great place for a couple to stay! Made some meals in the kitchen, did some work at the desk, and only two blocks from Downtown area. If it's clear you can see Mt Shasta from the room. Will definitely be back!

We had a fabulous stay at Darlene’s getaway. A truly peaceful accommodation and equipped with everything we could need.

John was very friendly and welcoming. We felt completely at home on his and Sandy’s beautiful property! It’s a peaceful and enchanting getaway in the forest, yet an easy five minutes from town. We didn’t want to leave.
