Alecia’s place was just perfect for my writing retreat. It was peaceful, cozy, comfortable, and the WiFi was fast. Alecia was such a gracious host. She met me when I checked in and showed me all the special things about the cabin. She clearly loves the place, which rubbed off on me. Every little detail was thoughtful. Thank you Alecia. I hope to come back soon.

I visited Thatcher and Lisa's place for a few days in February with 5 friends. It was an incredible experience overall. The home was a perfect peaceful getaway, with awesome amenities like multiple private rooms, a well-stocked kitchen, hot tub, and games. It is also very nicely located, providing a peaceful rural setting while also having great access to nearby areas like Woodstock, Hanover, and Killington (where we spent ~3 days skiing). Additionally, Lisa and Thatcher really went above and beyond as hosts. They left very clear instructions and recommendations, made sure that we arrived smoothly in the face of inclement weather, and even shipped home an item we left behind. I definitely recommend staying here for your next Vermont adventure!

We absolutely loved our stay at Barbara’s home! It was spacious enough to accommodate 6 adults and 1 child with no issue. The kitchen is well appointed, allowing us to cook meals throughout our stay. We had a small storm roll through, which dropped 5” of snow overnight (great for our next day on the mountain!), and we were thrilled to see that the driveway and walkway had been cleared prior to 7am. The bedrooms were comfortable and the view from the great room is truly stunning. Would love to stay here again! Thank you, Barbara!

Our stay at the cabin with our two dogs was very good! The fenced in yard was the biggest highlight for us, and our pups enjoyed it very much. The cabin is removed from and hustle and bustle, but close enough to the small town of Bristol with small shops and a grocery store, and only 20 min from Plymouth or Meredith with a bit more to do. Overall, the area was very dog friendly and we were able to sit outside at 2 breweries with the dogs. Jennifer was incredibly responsive, giving us recommendations ahead of our trip and allowing us to head to the house a little early when we arrived. The furniture was comfortable and the house was clean. There is no TV in the living room, but there is a couch in the primary bedroom where the TV is. We didn't get to use the firepit due to rain, but the setup is cute. The hot tub is under cover, so we did enjoy that. As a highly organized and particular person, I appreciated the labels and signage throughout the house.

Barbara's place is a real gem. So clean, with a beautiful mix of antique and woodsy modern furniture, and a wonderfully comfortable living area overlooking a meandering brook which a few hundred yards down the road leads to the lake. The kitchen was well-equipped and modern, and beddings and beds were very comfortable. While the house was close too a busy road, we didn't hear a thing, and for summer users the deck is completely away from the road, overlooking the brook. Even more than we expected.

Great spot in Sunapee that was perfect for our girls ski trip! 10 min from the mountain, and it was close to the lake & local restaurants. The place was very charming and had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend staying here!

I’m grateful that Peggy and Harry were willing to rent to us at the last minute. Our family needed a quiet respite to be together during a difficult time of loss. The solitude of the lake and woods was calming and we had plenty of room to be together. I only wish we could have stayed longer!

The Best palace

Great location close to Ragged Mountain for winter sports. Comfortable home, lots of beds for kids (wish the homes we had stayed in when our kids were little were as well stocked with toys and a fun toddler bed!) Also loved that the pantry was stocked-we unexpectedly got to have fresh baked muffins with breakfast.
