BEST. TRIP. EVER! The Whale House is a gem! This little slice of heaven has gorgeous views from every room. The house is secluded and serene but is a quick drive to town and surrounding activities. The house has every amenity, and as a bonus, there is a crab pot and instructions on how to crab! It was enjoyable. The northern end of Vancouver Island has many things to do- fishing, whale watching, Grizzly bear viewing, kayaking and so much more. You can also relax easily in this place. Sitting on the deck, reading my book while watching the resident bald eagles go about their day was one of my favorite memories of our time there. Nancy is the best hostess. She had many recommendations and was full of good ideas to cater to the needs of our group. We will go back to the Whale House again. We were already planning our next visit as we pulled out of the driveway. :)

I would recommend this Airbnb! It was extremely clean and had high-quality appliances and products. It was very easy to find and looked exactly like the photos. I actually felt like it was more spacious in person. The suit walks out into the backyard, and there is even a private patio area, which is very nice. It is also very close to downtown, so you can easily walk there if needed. I would stay here again!

Steve went above and beyond for our stay - truly a top notch host. Responsive and friendly, he made check in seamless and was on hand if we needed anything. The cabin was lovely - beds comfy, kitchen had everything we needed, bathroom sparkling. We absolutely loved the salt water hot tub (and we mean hot!) and the cozy wood fireplace when the rain came one night. Watching the porpoises, seals, otters and eagles was super relaxing, as was meandering around the harbour in our kayaks. Will definitely come back! Thanks Steve!

I reserved Susan’s place twice - once before we began the NCT and once for the day we completed the NCT. Knowing we had this cozy and equipped place to come back to was extremely comforting! Little touches that are not required but are absolutely appreciated (we were lucky enough to arrive to a plate of warm date squares!) are a throw back to the old days of Airbnb! Would recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at Sally-Anne's place. Sally-Anne is a very responsive host and had great communication and was very helpful. The home was very clean. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything that we needed. We would definitely stay at Sally-Anne's again next time we are in Tahsis.

We just returned from a lovely stay at Marie's home. It was extremely clean and very spacious. The photos were very representative of what the home looks like. The kitchen was VERY well stocked and had everything we needed and more! We would highly recommend staying at Marie's.

This house was great. fits my whole family and is within walking distance of my family. The house is well kept and very easy to clean for check out. Maria is friendly and instructive. We will be staying again in the future.

This place is a hidden gem out here! everything is exactly as advertised. The scenery from the patio was just beautiful, and everything about the house was just perfect. The hosts are super responsive and friendly. Had a little trouble with the lock, but Erin the co-host got on the phone with us and we were able to get in after just a little bit of time. Overall a great stay, hopefully someday we’ll be back in the future. :)

Ruth's home was lovely to stay at! It felt very homey and clean. The beds were comfy and we had everything we needed in the kitchen. All the decor was nice and was interesting to look at. The covered deck with the view of the water was great too. Ruth was responsive to messages and let us rent her kayaks as well as lending us some fishing equipment and giving us some tips on good spots to fish and paddle. We loved our time in Port Alice and staying here was a big part of that.

The place had a fantastic view of the ocean and had a kitchen to die for, with everything we needed to host local family. The place was comfortable, roomy, and artfully decorated. Lisa was a wonderful host. We hope to go back soon.

This unit was a cozy spot in the forest. The unit was well appointed and very clean. The host offered great advise prior to my trip and made sure to let me know they were available should I need anything.

What a find. Beautiful view from the hill above the village and a few minutes walk to virtually everything. Looks just like the photos and very comfortable.

Wonderful place to stay! We come up every year and this place was the best we’ve ever stayed in. Clean, cozy, so nicely decorated and very well stocked. These hosts have thought of absolutely everything and put in a lot of attention to detail to make their place a home away from home. Will def stay with them again.

stay was great beds were comfortable, spacious living area kitchen was well stocked with items for cooking. was pet friendly so that was a plus for us having a small dog only thing was it's not fenced so we had to keep our dog on a leash which was totally fine for us. it was close to where we needed to be and was enough rok for our group of 5 to be comfortable our entire stay
