Awesome Airbnb, with a lot of opportunities to enjoy even the rainy days. Very clean and cozy, I would recommend it for a weekend trip! Very friendly host.

If you want a private cottage right on the water - this one is for you! What an amazing location. James' cottage is right on the water and there is a beautiful rocky beach to explore. The cottage is cozy and the kitchen is well stocked. Very private! The views are amazing. We had a chilly afternoon so we spent the day looking out the windows at the view. James was kind enough to let us know when there were whales passing! This is a very special and unique spot - I highly recommend booking!

You won’t find a more helpful, friendly and accommodating host than Danielle!! First off we were in Tahsis 3 weeks prior at a different Airbnb. It did not have enough freezer space for our fish. When I inquired as to the size of their freezer for our future stay, explaining our situation she told us to bring our fish over!!! Meeting her in person revealed how incredibly nice she is. She allowed us to arrive early and leave late. To top it off she sent my husbands belongings that he forgot free of charge to us. The house was perfectly located with the most beautiful view. We were in Tahsis on a fishing trip with our own boat. There was parking for our trailer and truck at the house and our boat was moored at the marina a couple minutes away. The beds were all sooo comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor space as well as the relaxing and cozy living room. We would not consider staying anywhere else for all future trips to Tahsis! Danielle’s place can’t be beat! 100% recommend

We can’t say enough about Shoal Bay. We all absolutely loved it (3 and 5 year old kids included). Endless exploring to be had, followed by wonderful, peaceful evenings. Cynthia and Mark are truly wonderful hosts and we cannot wait to come back. They went above our expectations, creating a wonderful wood fired pizza experience, trail recommendations and an opportunity to make pottery for the kids and us. Thank you both for sharing your space with us!

We stayed on Doe Island for roughly 5 weeks, and had a wonderful time watching seals, porpoises, herons, stunning sunsets and beautiful starry nights. The cabin is definitely rustic, working off of water cisterns, a composting toilet, and solar/generator powered, but we were comfortable managing these. Steve was incredibly helpful and made sure we were comfortable, bringing over more water when needed and troubleshooting when we accidentally blew a fuse. The high speed internet made it possible for my daughter to work from there with a beautiful "office" view, seeing our resident seal visit every day! The provided kayaks made it easy to toodle around the harbour, and the crab pots - thrown right off the dock - provided some great meals. Steve helped out with our arrival and departure. It is also obvious that the host is in progress of upgrading areas of the island, so some spots look more in-progress than polished. Overall, the spot is absolutely gorgeous, the host is super helpful and hospitable, but it is definitely not a hotel -- you'll need to be aware of water and power consumption, and it is fairly isolated. Having your own boat to get around is recommended if you're there for an extended stay. (You can try checking with area marinas or other nearby places to park your car.) We'll definitely be going back!

I had a wonderful stay at this scenic property by the water. The peaceful surroundings and stunning views made it the perfect getaway. The place was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The host was friendly and responsive, ensuring I had a seamless experience. I especially loved sitting by the water and soaking in the tranquility. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a serene retreat!

We had an amazing stay. The hosts were very responsive and helpful, and everyone at the Blind Channel resort was helpful and accommodating. The view from our cabin's porch was spectacular and we spent hours watching the water and birds. The hiking trails through the forest were perfect for taking our dog for a hike after a day out on the boat. Thanks to Jeff we had some very successful fishing adventures, too!

Gorgeous location off the beaten path. Well worth the short drive to see this sweet community. The condo was beautiful and provided everything we needed, and Barb was very responsive and even sourced fresh caught salmon for us which was amazing. Highly recommend!
