The Cottrell Cottage was amazing. Set in a small town it was exactly as described. Perfectly set out and extremely clean. A peaceful historic house, only wished we could have stayed longer.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, especially since we were able to bring our fur baby with us! The home was spacious and comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The weather was perfect to sit outside and enjoy the deck in the evening. We look forward to coming back with our kids and grandkids soon. Since they have so many things for little ones available it will be super convenient as well!

Angela’s place was so cute and was much bigger than it looked in pics. Has lots of beds and can sleep a lot of people. Older home but very solid and nice remodel. On a busy 2 lane highway but we got used to that quickly and didn’t even think about it after the first day. As a matter of fact I enjoyed sitting in the living room with the huge picture window and watch the cars go by. It was quite peaceful. Felt roomy and kitchen was well equipped. About 20 mins to Fairfield Bay and Greer’s Ferry Lake west side. Would definitely stay there again.

This place was cozy, clean, and felt like we were at home! The owner was very accommodating and was fast to reply. Couldn’t have found a better spot to stay with the family for the holidays! Very satisfied customers!!!!

Michaels place was great ! It was the perfect house for my family of 5. The location was close to everything. Mike made sure we had everything we needed and checked on us daily. I highly recommend ! Thanks for a great stay Mike !

Wonderful stay and wonderful host! I had a fantastic time, and really enjoyed the condo. Everything was just as described and Dee is thorough and accurate with the instructions. She also provided great recommendations for activities and food in the area. I would definitely stay here again!

Rhonda went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home! She knew we were bringing our pups and had a had a dog bed, bowls, and toys ready for them. The condo was super clean and had everything we needed and then some! Communication was super smooth and Rhonda was so accommodating! We will definitely be checking to see if her place is available the next time we’re in the area!

This place stands out as the absolute best Air B&B we've ever stayed at. We were hesitant at first being that dogs are allowed... (we wondered if it would smell like "dog", or have dog hair on the furniture) but no bad smells, and no dog hair. We were very happy about that! The bed's were very comfy! We had a good bit of rain the week we were there, so the quilts all around the house were great, and used by each of us. As a family with 5 kiddos ranging from 13, all the way down 7 months, we were happy to have plenty of room for everyone. We love playing games, so having all the board games available was a big bonus. My guys really enjoyed using the dartboard outside under the covered front porch! They had several tournaments in the week we were there. Lol Suzy was the perfect hostess, and was so sweet to suggest a few family friendly activities within the Fairfield Bay area. There are quite a few things we didn't get to do in our week stay, but are looking forward to next time!!

We enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere in this house. The kitchen was clean and provided several small appliances to use for preparing meals. This was very peaceful with great views of the birds in the area.

This was our 2nd stay here. The accommodations are just what we need to enjoy a weekend away and being able to bring our fur babies is an added, bonus. Close to the ATV trails, & a very friendly neighborhood, we will definitely be back.

We had a great stay at Melissa's lakeside retreat. Our group had plenty of room and enjoyed playing games around the large table. Everything was super clean and comfortable and we loved waking up to the beautiful view of the lake. I highly recommend staying at Melissa's place if you travel to the Fairfield Bay area. She was a fabulous host and made us feel right at home.

We had an amazing time!! (3 adults) Super cute cabin!! We never found the lake and were told the trail to it was grown up waist high by a neighbor…. BUT it was such a peaceful, GREAT place to stay that we didn’t even care! Everything we needed was there. 30 minutes to almost anything you would want to see. It was SO quiet and relaxing! Definitely recommend!! We hope to visit again!!!!!

We stayed at the cabin for 3 days at the end of December, and loved the place and the area. The cabin was clean and comfortable and we found the kitchen to be particularly well-stocked - appreciated having not only two kinds of coffeemakers (drip and Keurig) but plenty of both types of coffee. The instructions for getting in were clear, and we appreciated the small touches like snacks that were made available for guests, along with jigsaw puzzles and games. The cabin is in a very quiet neighborhood, and we loved being right on the White River with a comfortable porch overlooking the water. The town of Mountain View is close enough to be convenient for groceries if needed, and has several really good restaurants and cute stores. Since it was off-season some places were closed for the winter, but we still found plenty to do, and even just driving around in the hills and taking in the scenery was enjoyable. I'd recommend the cabin to anyone wanting to stay in the area.

We had extended family from 3 different states meet up here for our family Christmas. The place was amazing! Amazing views from all 3 decks. We put my 84 year old mother in the only bedroom on the main (upper) floor with the main kitchen. My husband and I took the downstairs bedroom and we put all the young adults in the bunkhouse…it worked out perfectly. Everything was clean and tastefully decorated. Everything needed to prepare 3 meals a day for 10 people was provided. The nearest large grocery store is approximately 40 minutes away, which was not a problem for us and just added to the secluded location we were hoping for. Being allowed to bring our fur babies was an added bonus. We hope to make this place our yearly tradition for family Christmas. Book now…you won’t be disappointed. Just as an FYI….the last several miles leading to the house is gravel, which again wasn’t a problem for us. Can’t wait to go back!

This was the peaceful getaway we needed! Beautiful home and surrounding land. In the morning you would hear the birds chirp and the evening, the humm of the bugs. Haven't seen a better lightning bug show in my life. We also seen a couple deer. The drive uphill to the house was steep. Very glad we had driven our 4x4 truck. We didn't have any issues while staying. Though, Bobby was just a phone call away and would answer promptly. Many lakes around to enjoy, along with hiking. Our favorite spot with our fur baby was at Cow Shoals along the Little Red River. A little colder water, but refreshing on a hot summer day! If you are looking for a getaway from the city, this would be perfect!

We enjoyed a lovely stay at Dawn’s River-Run home rental that exceeded our expectations with its comfort, beautiful landscaping, and warm neighborhood atmosphere. The space was cozy and inviting, complete with flourishing gardens that were perfect for relaxation. The friendly neighbors made us feel welcome, enhancing our experience. For entertainment, we enjoyed fishing, playing foosball, darts, and watching local wildlife. Dawn was quick to respond to our questions and provided suggestions for local events. Overall, this rental offered a perfect blend of leisure and activity, making it a highly recommendable choice for a delightful getaway.
