Super cute place! Exactly as described. Loved how private the property feels. We were there with our kids but it would make a great romantic getaway. The kitchen is very well stocked. Loved that they had electric blankets because it definitely gets cold at night in Volcano. This place is a great location if you're looking for somewhere near the Volcano National Park.

My family enjoyed our stay here at Shannon's place in the rainforest in Volcano! I loved the attention to detail: shower slippers, pineapple accents, gorgeous furniture and artwork, cozy blankies in the living room, really comfy beds, and toys for kids. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for cooking, and I appreciated the teas and coffee. The water from the taps tastes pristine. My favorite thing was soaking in the furo tub on the deck and listening to the rain and the coqui frogs sing. We spent 3 days exploring Hawaii Volcanoes NP and this was a perfect place to unwind after our days in the park. I also appreciated your suggestions on things to do in the park and places to eat. My husband & I enjoyed our stay here. Everything about our stay was PERFECT! The aesthetic, the surrounding, the atmosphere and vibe was outstanding! We only stayed for a night but waking up to the view of a rainforest was beautiful. The hot tub was amazing especially when used at night because the air was crisp and cold. Very relaxing and peaceful. 10/10 recommend to anyone who considers staying here. We will be back!

I had the best stay at this Airbnb. It exceeded my l expectations. This is a really special Airbnb in a tranquil location. There were very few cars and cute wildlife roaming around freely. Idyllic for a peaceful getaway! The bed was the most comfortable that I've ever slept in at any hotel or Airbnb in the world. It felt like sleeping on a cloud. The hot tub was ergonomic and comfortable for two people. The bathroom was so beautiful and equipped with everything you would need and more! The kitchen was stocked with many cooking supplies, including basic oils and spices, drip coffee and a smorgasbord of Tazo teas in multiple varieties. It's also incredibly close to volcanoes national Park. I was able to visit multiple times and see everything I wanted to see, and even return to the Airbnb in between whenever I wanted to because it was so close. Highly recommend!

Our stay at this beautiful place was magical! Was better then described and even better then the photos. The lush surroundings, the beautiful sounds of the forest and the gorgeous cottage all made for a perfect stay. We loved the soaking tub and the breakfast. We will recommend this place to our friends and we will definitely be back!

Truly amazing property. The blue cottage was awesome, comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. The spring fed tubs are really awesome, especially the jungle tub. We went almost every morning and evening. Truly amazing before sunrise. We will be back!

Gorgeous place to stay! Very conveniently located to VNP. The grounds were beautiful. The tub was a perk after days of hiking in the park. If we’re ever back in Volcano, we will absolutely book again. Thanks to the wonderful staff who were very helpful!

Had a great time in this private and peaceful accommodation. Ashley was very friendly and responsive and provided us with privacy and easy communication. This place provides a unique and relaxing glamping style stay. It rained very hard the first night and sounded beautiful as it’s an open air room but still felt very secure and everything stayed dry. After the rain the coqui were plentiful so it may not be for everyone but I found it to be soothing and peaceful. My only recommendation is maybe to hang a mirror in the shower room or in the kitchen/bathroom area. Mahalo for a great stay!

The place looks gorgeous with the plants in the garden and a nice looking relaxing living room. Our host is very welcoming and helped us with the luggage as well as greeted us when encountering us when we arrived. Loved the experience.

The place was conveniently located within walking distance of the HILO downtown district, where you will find local shops and good restaurants. There are also three supermarkets within 1.5 miles and a short drive to other national chains of stores. You are also near many attractions, including the beach, all within walking or short driving distance, with easy parking. The house offers private parking, which was nice. However, there are some stairs to climb as described in the listing, so it's not wheelchair or elderly-friendly if you carry a lot of heavy luggage. The house came with some basic cookware, and with a short distance to the supermarket and local farmers' market, you can save a lot of money not eating out if you choose to stay in and spend time with family. I would 100% stay there again or any property that Jason is listing. Great Host!

Kelly’s place was perfect. Quiet, private and lots of covered outdoor spaces with lots of room. The home was clean and had everything we needed. She even had a nice notebook filled with things to know and do around the area. We enjoyed our daily walks to the ocean and met lots of people enjoying the area. I would recommend Kelly’s place for anyone who wants to enjoy all that the East side of the Big Island has to offer.

We loved Autumn's jungle cottages and would recommend her place. Great for small groups with separate accommodations. Beautiful outdoor gathering bbq area and every kind of plants. highly recommend

Beautiful spot in the jungle near the volcano. Super private, jungle hottub was definitely the star of the stay. Communication was great.

This was one of many stays I have had with jade at the MLT. it’s a great place to unwind and recenter. Always such a great time over on kalapana side and the temple is a great place to enjoy that side of the island. My friend forgot her jacket with her credit card and ID in it and Jade was very helpful and responsive. Very easy to get the jacket back with everything still in it!

The Bird House was an amazing find for our trip to Volcanoes National Park. The house is so cool and decorated so well. We wished we could stay for longer!

My husband and I stayed at for the first part of our Big Island trip at the cottage. The host was very friendly and responsive. The cottage was tucked back in a quiet peaceful neighborhood. We enjoyed the sounds of the frogs at night and the birds in the morning. The wild chickens/roosters definitely made their presence known. If you are a light sleeper you may want to bring earplugs or music (although we didn’t mind). The neighborhood was safe to walk to watch the sunrise over Paradise Cliffs. Location to other attractions was convenient with still feeling off the beaten path. The cottage was clean and comfy. I recommend this stay and would love to visit again. Mahalo to our hosts. :)

Beautiful location in a quiet area. Easy to travel from here to points of interest both north and south on the east side of the island. Foodland nearby for easy grocery access. The guest book with recommendations for local establishments was very useful - Lava Thai had great thai food and we may have not been aware of it without the guest book recommendation. All-in-all a great place to stay on the east side of the island to avoid some of the craziness of staying in Hilo.

This cottage in Volcano Village was soo cozy and beautiful! Staying here gave us quick access to the Hawaiian Volcano National Park (only about 15 min drive). The hosts gave us plenty of supplies for anything we needed. We had a bit of an issue with plumbing, but Aubrey was quick and got it taken care of efficiently. We would love to come back in the future 😊

A fun place for Hilo side! Just a short distance away are amazing black cliffs to enjoy the sunrise from, and you are greeted with quiet nights and all sorts of stars! Loved the outdoor shower.

The house was a delight: it felt quiet, secluded, and peaceful and made a very pleasant stay for our family. It's extremely convenient to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, which was what we were there to see, so the location couldn't have been better for us.

From the peaceful and private jungle location, to the friendly and helpful staff, this place was everything I could have hoped for a getaway. Myra is a wonderful host and I cannot wait to stay here again.
