We had an amazing stay at Fabrizio’s house in San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua. He was incredibly polite and attentive, always responding immediately to any request. The home offers privacy, safety, and breathtaking views, making it a perfect getaway. With a variety of beautiful beaches just 15 minutes away, plus Fabrizio’s great recommendations, exploring the area was effortless. I highly recommend this stay to anyone visiting San Juan del Sur. Ich habe mich gleich wie zuhause gefühlt. Das Haus wurde mit natürlichen Rohstoffen gebaut und ist sehr geräumig und schön. Maria hat uns immer sehr schnell geantwortet und weiter geholfen.

Casa Makai was a true jungle paradise! The house itself was beautifully designed, even better than the photos, with comfy beds and a well-equipped kitchen. The outdoor space was amazing, perfect for relaxing in the hammock. It's a short 10min walk to Playa Maderas (great for surfing) and 3 min walk to Buena Vista Surf Club (excellent yoga). Laura was a fantastic host, very accommodating. Highly recommend!

It’s a great location just out of town. easy to get a taxi, rent a car or motorcycle. Very responsive host. Ac in bedrooms and living room, which was nice and the pool was well taking care of and great to meet people and relax. A washer is available for a small fee which is a bonus. There is a pickleball court at the condos and there was construction going on but only until 5 pm. Neighbours were all friendly and a lot of long term stays. You do pay for washer use and electricity separately. I would stay again.

Beautiful and private location with a view that is better than the pictures. Great retreat if you want to hangout out in the local area and walk to the beach. We will be back! There are a few restaurants on the beach but I’d generally recommend bringing your own provisions. 4wd or at least high clearance vehicle recommended for dry season. For the wet season, I’d definitely want a 4x4

Nos quedamos en la casa proxima a la piscina, el alojamiento cumplio con todas nuestras expectativas, es muy espacioso, la cocina tenía todo lo necesario para poder organizar nuestras comidas y las vistas son espectaculares. Las habitaciones tienen buen tamaño e iluminación. Además tuvimos la suerte de poder participar de un evento/encuentro que John había organizado y que incluía una cena muy completa en un ambiente súper familiar, recomiendo preguntar a John sobre sus eventos e intentar coordinar la estadía con uno de ellos para vivir esa experiencia también. Gracias por todo John, con seguridad volveremos!

Villa Urraca absolutely surpassed our family's expectations. Spending time there was one of the highlights of our vacation in Nicaragua. We especially appreciated the beachfront view, and the short walk to the beach, as well as the proximity to the restaurant and activities like the turtle release and horseback riding. Jon and his team were excellent hosts—very responsive and attentive. We’re already looking forward to our next visit to Villa Urraca!

Casa Abrazar is pure magic. From the moment you arrive, you feel transported to a space of peace, beauty, and luxury. Every detail of the property is thoughtfully designed, creating the perfect setting for relaxation and connection. The views are breathtaking, the atmosphere is serene, and the entire experience exceeded all expectations. I hosted a retreat here, and it was truly the ideal backdrop for transformation and rejuvenation. I don’t have a single bad thing to say—everything was absolutely perfect. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! If you’re looking for a place that feels like a dream, this is it.

Nous avons adoré notre visite! Karen et Mario étaient toujours disponibles pour nous. La maison et le lieu étaient incroyables, les photos n'y rendent pas justice. Toutes les chambres sont munies d'air climatisée (que l'on ferme lorsque l'on quitte la chambre, la température se rafraîchit très vite quand on les rallume). Pour l'entrée et la cuisine, en laissant les deux portes ouvertes un courant d'air se crée et la température est confortable malgré la chaleur. Il y avait des jouets de plage pour les enfants. La piscine est toujours propre et parfaitement rafraîchissante et la terrasse incroyablement accueillante. La plage est magnifique et pratiquement toujours déserte. Il est facile de marcher pour se rendre dans différent restaurants/sur l'autre plage, ou même pour aller au marché. Nous avons loué une voiture pour faire des activités plus loin. Un 10% de rabais est offert pour le restaurant d'à côté, où il y a des cours de yoga tous les jours à 9h pour 12$ US. On a adoré, merci!

What a wonderful place. The view is so beautiful. Everything about this place was perfect. Pool area is very nice. The walk to restaurants and stores is easy and short. We wanted to stay longer but the house had someone else coming in. I would highly recommend staying here you will not be disappointed. Also, it is probably the best location to be. Go and enjoy!!!!

Die Unterkunft ist super, man hat einen fantastischen Blick über San Juan del Sur und die Bucht. Alle Räume sind sehr groß und man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Wir waren zu viert und in der Nebensaison unterwegs, deshalb war der Preis nochmal günstiger als sonst. Absolute Empfehlung. Gabriel der Concierge vor Ort ist auch unglaublich nett. Danke.

We love the house. The beds were extremely comfortable. Everybody involved was very responsive. The electricity charge for our golf cart was a little over the top.

Excelente ubicación para un apartamento pequeño que se requiera de último momento en San Juan, en donde la atención de Roger es excelente y el residencial también.

Una casa muy recomendada con una vista hermosa , en un lugar muy tranquilo con ambientes muy bonitos cómodos y acogedores , una cocina completa , limpia y agradable y Tom la persona encargada muy servicial y siempre pendiente de cualquier inconveniente ,observar el atardecer desde la terraza es espectacular.

Die Anreise war mühsam, da die falsche Adresse auf Airbnb stand und der Name nicht übereinstimmte. Dadurch konnten wir die Unterkunft kaum finden, weil die Beschilderung unzureichend ist. Zudem war die Vermieterin 1,5 h nicht erreichbar. Einmal angekommen, ist die Lage im Dschungel ein tolles Erlebnis. Man sieht viele Tiere und wird von Brüllaffen geweckt – einfach herrlich. Die kühlen Nächte machten eine Klimaanlage überflüssig. Ein großer Minuspunkt ist jedoch, dass es nur eiskaltes Wasser gibt, was vorher nirgends erwähnt wurde. Hätten wir das gewusst, hätten wir die Unterkunft vermutlich nicht gebucht. Das Frühstück ist verbesserungsbedürftig: Trotz wunderschöner Aussicht warteten wir 40 Minuten auf Kaffee und Spiegeleier, obwohl mehr Personal als Gäste da war. Das Abendessen haben wir ausgelassen, da die Speisekarte wenig mit regionaler Küche zu tun hatte und stattdessen auf „fancy“ wirkende Gerichte setzte. Vietnamesischer Kaffee auf einer Bio-Farm in Nicaragua?

Súper recomendado, la casa es una belleza total, privado, vista espectacular. Natalie estuvo Pendiente, nos brindó información de la zona, Delivery y todo, la chica de limpieza muy atenta y amable. Ideal para descansar y conectar con la naturaleza.
