Great place for a weekend in Galway! Close to the main streets where all the shopping and pubs are located, but also quiet and peaceful. Joan left lots of great amenities and recommendations. She was also quick to respond if we had any issues or questions. We had a lovely stay!

I found the cottage a delightful, comfortable, well equipped and a relaxing place to stay. Mary was very welcoming and helpful in every way. For peace and quite set in beautiful riverside surroundings, I would highly recommend it.

Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour chez Stephanie. Nous l’avions avant tout sélectionné pour son emplacement privilégié au centre de Galway et il a entièrement satisfait nos attentes ! Qui plus est, il était très agréable et propre, une excellente literie avec les King size, belle décoration et très bien équipé. Parfait pour notre séjour où nous étions 3 couples d’amis à la découverte de Galway. Stephanie nous a aidé pour le parking à proximité qui lui aussi est une bonne adresse pour se déplacer facilement avec la voiture de location, proche du logement. Un logement à conserver dans les favoris, Merci Stephanie !

We loved our stay at Brid’s place! The space was lovely and parking was convenient. Brid was extremely communicative and we felt welcome. The location was a little far from area attractions, so we were happy to have our rental car. The bus stop is down the hill and it’s a bit of a walk. We appreciated that Brid supplied us with a portable crib so that we did not have to bring one with us from the States. Brid gave us many recommendations for restaurants and pubs, which was awesome! During our stay, a water main broke in the neighborhood and the cold water was shut off for a time. Brid messaged us right away and left us plenty of water on two separate occasions. The only downside is the construction in the area which was a bit loud at times, but overall wasn’t too much of an issue, and it couldn’t be helped.

Terrific homey atmosphere with all the kitchen and other amenities for a very pleasant stay. We stayed a week and weren’t ready to leave… will be back again.

Jackie is a great host, very thoughtful and responsive. Great suggestions for things to do. Rose Meadow cottage feels completely modern without losing it's old farm building roots. Spotless is an understatement, it was one of the cleanest places I have stayed at! Jackie really thought through how to take full advantage of the building, you have everything you need but there is no clutter. The location is great too, you can see the Atlantic over the hills dotted with cows and horses. If you want dinner out you're close to all the goings on in Lahinch. If you want some great traditional Irish music Doolin is a short drive too! You're right down the road from great hiking with the Cliffs of Moher and the coastal road to Fanore and the Burren. If you want to explore County Clare this is a great place to stay.

Great to have this accommodation in the town, Boyle is a great town, friendly people, interesting history, heritage, good food and friendly local pubs and Christine’s place is in a great location to explore it all, thanks

Pat was a great and friendly host! Perfect location close to Galway city center but far enough removed from the crowds. Kitchen was perfect for making breakfast and drive way for rental car was nice as well. Rooms were spacious and allowed us to spread out. Pat gave excellent tips and recommendations for Galway and the surrounding cities as well, all were great. Will look to stay here again next time we find ourselves in Galway! Thank you again Pat!

We really liked our whole experience with our stay at Pauline and Toby’s. They were very hospitable and helpful with our luggage. The apartment was great for getting around Clifden.

We had a lovely stay at Debbie and Stuart’s place! The place was very spacious and had everything we needed for our week long stay. It’s also super close to major sites such as the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren trails which was very handy for us.

Excellent logement 2 lits simples très confort ! Mais un couchage dans le canapé lit (sans drap alors que j’avais bien annoncé 3 personnes ) Sinon grande TV , minimum pour cuisiner mais largement assez . A noter un presse agrume fruit serait apprécié . Le lait local et les biscuit d’accueil étaient parfait ! Je recommande ! même si petit mais largement assez pour des voyageurs qui ne font qu’y dormir 😁

Valerie was so kind and attentive, helping us out whenever we needed. The flat was great and just what we needed, with lots of local amenities! We loved the local cafe - the neighbourhood cafe was gorgeous. Such an easy trip into Galway city - the bus is very convenient. Overall great stay, thanks Valerie!

I’m totally satisfied! This was a lovely place to stay for a weekend in Galway. My travel companion and I enjoyed having separate beds (pull-out couch in the main room). The apartment is pretty and well-located in the quiet West End area of Galway, so we had easy access to great restaurants and could sleep well. Ernie recommended the live traditional music in The Crane Bar just a few doors down, which we really enjoyed. The coffee, tea, bread, jam, and milk provided were also very nice; we bought more supplies in Ernie’s market downstairs. The code entry worked perfectly every time, and Ernie was always responsive and helpful. A great place to stay.

We loved our stay here! Cozy place that made for a great 3 day stay in Galway, which was the midway point in our road trip around Ireland. Everything you need is walking distance but the apartment was very private and quiet. Having the laundry machines was an added bonus for us as we packed light. Hosts were very responsive and helpful. Rory even came out to meet us on the sidewalk as we had a little trouble finding it (our fault, not their lack of instructions lol). On our last night our son got sick (too many oysters) and although we cleaned everything we could, we still managed to ruin a linen or two. They were incredibly kind and understanding. The only minor annoyance is the parking, but we pretty much ditched the car on a free side street and didn’t drive it until we left. Highly recommend getting over to Crane’s Bar on a Thursday night for the storytelling and live trad music. We brought our 10yo and it was really special to experience.

Beautiful location - Anne’s accommodation is so lovely. Clean and inviting - Anne had breakfast food -bacon, eggs, sausages, fresh bread, yoghurt and fresh fruit waiting for us in her fridge… a very warm welcome. We couldn’t have asked for more. Lovely stay at Theresa and Jerome’s, the house is fully equipped with everything you need and more. Their recommandations are perfect to discover County Clare. We recommend 100% !

Wir hatten ein paar schöne Tage bei Myra. Die Unterkunft liegt gut für viele Unternehmungen und das Stadtzentrum und Restaurants sind zu Fuß gut erreichbar. Das Bett war super bequem und auch das Wohnzimmer mit dem kleinen Ofen war richtig gemütlich.

Although the pictures are highly accurate they don’t convey how beautiful and relaxing this place is. Definitely the perfect location within 5 min walk to the key area in dwtn Galway yet super peaceful.
