A charming House by an amazing lake in the Slovenian Alps near the Soča River, and I can't recommend it enough! The house is quite old, but it's in great condition and very clean, giving it a cozy and authentic feel. The highlight of my mornings was enjoying a cup of their excellent coffee while taking in the stunning views of the lake and mountains. Absolutely breathtaking! The host provided kayaks, which made for some unforgettable trips on the lake — perfect for those looking to explore the area and enjoy some adventure. Overall, a fantastic place for a relaxing getaway with plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities.

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit im Haus von Neil. Wir waren 2 Familien mit 2 Jungs im Alter von 15 und 4 kleineren Kindern (im Alter von 3-11). Alle waren sehr zufrieden und haben sich wohl gefühlt. Neben dem Billardtisch für die großen Jungs, war das Spielzimmer mit Kaufmannsladen etc. für die Kleinen attraktiv. Darüberhinaus gab es draußen den Sportplatz und Kinderspielplatz. Ausreichend viel Platz war für alle da und das gemeinsame Kochen und Essen am großen Tisch ein zentraler Ort in unserem Urlaub. Die Kinder hatten große Freude an den Eiswürfeln, die sie direkt am großen Kühlschrank sich automatisch holen konnten. Für die Aktivitäten im Umland und auch den Einkauf war das Auto ein notwendiger Begleiter. Wir haben uns insbesondere über die Bademöglichkeiten in den Flüssen und Wasseraktivitäten in der Nähe von Tolmin und Most na Soči gefreut. Danke für den guten Ort.

Lovely home in a beautiful setting close to Bohinj lake. The accommodation offered us everything we needed, it was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Nice beds, good shower, plenty of space for cooking and relaxing. Nice and quiet in the accommodation. Primoz (the host) also showed us his amazing workshop and we made bracelets as souvenirs with him.

Villa Melody was perfect for our needs. As a family of 5, we had plenty of space. It was a really nice touch and very much appreciated to have toilet paper, soap, shower gel, dishwasher tablets and detergent capsules included. We made use of the paddle board on the lake. A beautiful location and the kids were pleased it didn’t feel too isolated as shops and restaurants 10mins walk away. Sergey was very helpful if we had any queries. Lake Bohinj is a magical place, we loved our time here.

We stayed 3 nights in Bohinjska Bistrica at Janja's, it was wonderful. We were in the Apt. Bohinj ~ very modern and new 1 bedroom, 1 bath, which was great for 2 people. Bed was cozy, kitchen was well stocked, shower was amazing, and Janja was so warm and friendly. She thought of everything you would need for a stay, felt right at home. We slept well and would definitely recommend when visiting the Lake Region. Thank you for your hospitality!

We loved our stay there, the location is great, the apartment is lovely and the hosts are very nice :)

The location was excellent. It was within walking distance from lake Bohinj and a good 25 minute drive from Bled in a quite area. Miha is an excellent host who provided a warm welcome. We enjoyed the occasional visits of the two cats. The house is comfortable and well equipped.
