Our stay was incredible, the house and property are truly beautiful and better than described. The house is spacious and comfortable. I will say that my husband and I traveled around India for 3+ weeks and Deepu's home was the only one with consistent, amazing hot water in the showers. Everything is sustainable, grown from the earth, and thoughtfully crafted. Deepu, Sanita, and Shijo were amazing hosts who were very responsive, kind, caring, and invested in us enjoying our time there. They went above and beyond to ensure this. Shijo is amazing cook and a wonderful, giving person as well. Thank you so much for having us and we hope to return one day! Lots of love, Diviya and Jamie

Very beautiful and quiet surroundings. But the approach Road was slightly difficult to navigate.. Last 100 mts only one vehicle can pass. Also mobile range is poor so difficult to call and ask for directions. Food was nice for a 2 day stay but more than that can get repetitive. Not too many places to eat close by.. Atleast have to drive half an hour for a restaurant. For the price you pay it was definitely worth it.

We had a fantastic time during our stay in Munnar. This was our first trip to Munnar, and Asish and his team made it an effortless and enjoyable experience. From the moment we arrived in Munnar, Asish’s team took care of everything. They picked us up from Madurai, organized sightseeing tours, planned activities, and even arranged for our return to Madurai. Our driver, Vijay, was an absolute gem. He drove us from Munnar to Madurai and back, making sure we had a comfortable and enjoyable journey. Vijay was not only a skilled driver but also a knowledgeable guide. He took us to breathtaking locations and recommended exciting activities to do in Munnar. His flexibility and attentiveness made our trip a breeze. We also had a thrilling off-road jeep safari on the mountains with Nithin. It was an incredible and adventurous experience that we will cherish forever. a special place has been created here - lovely landscaped garden areas and the mudhut itself was spacious, clean and very well presented. outside there were stunning mountain views. the meals were delicious and service was friendly (note that because of the remote location there isn't really anywhere else to dine). it is a long journey from kochi but absolutley worth it, highly recommend.

I had the most delightful experience staying at Calm shack. From the moment I arrived, I felt at home. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, offering me a tour of the property and making sure I had everything I needed. The room was cozy, clean, and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities I could ask for. The bed was so comfortable, and I loved the little touches like fresh towels, toiletries, and a selection of local snacks. The view from my window was absolutely stunning. The home-cooked breakfasts were a highlight of my stay. I also appreciated the helpful recommendations for local activities and restaurants. The location was perfect, situated in a peaceful area but still close to all the attractions I wanted to visit. I would highly recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a peaceful, authentic, and heartfelt experience. I can't wait to return!

Accomodation is good. Best part is the host (both husband and wife), they are the best. Aunt's cooking is next level. Uncle is the best guide, he is full of energy.

Joy’s place is perfect for four people. Staying here enhanced our whole trip. Joy and his caretakers offer very special hospitality. Joy is always a phone call away to get what you need, from food to amazing chats to a walk around his property, which is filled with different types of trees and plantations. Ask him about the miracle fruit. Tour the cardamom processing plant and the estate and try the pepper fruit. Don't miss out on their chicken BBQ.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Misty Hogans-Hill Station stay near Munnar- 3 BHK! From the moment I booked, the host’s communication was excellent, ensuring a smooth experience. Their caretaker was incredibly helpful—not only did they assist in reaching the location, but they also prepared delicious home-cooked meals that made the stay even more special. The property itself is stunning, blending thoughtful architecture with sustainability. As someone who appreciates design, I was impressed by the intricate details, and when I mentioned this to the host (a civil engineer), he personally called me to share fascinating insights about the construction and features, including the rainwater harvesting system. Every aspect of my stay was enjoyable—from the warm hospitality to the serene ambiance of the place. I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a memorable and enriching experience. I would love to visit again!

It was a great place with several benefits, cozy place, campfire etc but for a better experience it would be a good idea to arrange food for ourselves.
