Marilyn's place was truly magical even if only for a night...we wish we could have stayed longer. As a guest on their homestead, we were greeted by a friendly dog and lovable horses as we made our way inside. Every detail and amenity was worked out, including a warm fire in the wood burning stove, all sorts of amenities like adapters, washclothes, and heated water bottles...they had everything you would need to feel right at home and we got a chance to really relax in the space! Would come back in a heartbeat and only 10 mins from the city!

Wonderful host, wonderful apartment. Liz (and Brian) epitomise Airbnb Superhosts - welcoming, proactive communicators, spotless apartment and accurate description of the property. Liz made a special effort to check us in earlier than the official time, which we greatly appreciated, and Brian gave us heaps of suggestions for eating out in Clifden (special shout out for The Willow Tree - gorgeous food) and places to see. The apartment is very comfortable, bright and spacey with a really nice energy. Very well-appointed kitchen, big living-room and the very large bed was mega-comfortable (we only used one of the 2 bedrooms but the other looked equally nice). The south-facing balcony is private and looks out on the harbour - perfect spot for a glass of your favourite. Even though you're only a few steps from the town centre with its array of restaurants and pubs, it's very quiet. Clifden is a great base for exploring Connemara. No hesitation in recommending this property, it's excellent.

Pat was a great and friendly host! Perfect location close to Galway city center but far enough removed from the crowds. Kitchen was perfect for making breakfast and drive way for rental car was nice as well. Rooms were spacious and allowed us to spread out. Pat gave excellent tips and recommendations for Galway and the surrounding cities as well, all were great. Will look to stay here again next time we find ourselves in Galway! Thank you again Pat!

David was an excellent host - the perfect combination of available/helpful and respecting our space. He responded to all questions quickly and often offered helpful items in addition to helpful information. The house was comfortable and the location allowed us to explore the area easily. The place was spotless and very cosy. We were at a wedding at kilshane house so it was perfect location, barely a five minute drive away. The area was beautiful, very quiet and peaceful, had everything we needed and more in the b&b. There dog Lottie was a sweetheart, there to great us in the morning and evenings, so friendly. Ben was a great host, very flexible for us to arrive and always so responsive to our texts. A great stay, if we were in the area again I would come back there 100%

This apartment was perfect for our group- 2 couples. We liked how the main living space was separate from the bedrooms. The view (when not foggy) was amazing. The full kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, and the location was just a 10 minute walk from the main part of Galway. The grocery store in the ground floor was convenient as well.

We had a fantastic stay at Gavins. This apartment is in the heart of Kinsale. Easy walk into town either down the quiet lane or along the front harbour. We really enjoyed the locality, we also appreciated the warm and welcoming feel of the apartment. Gavin had the rugby on ready for my husband which was very kind. A very comfortable bed, the bath is also wonderful! As many other reviews mentioned there is noise from the apartment above, if this will bother you then definitely consider it. We weren’t used to it, but I can’t say it overly disturbed us. There is a door to the other flat in the living room. The little courtyard is lovely, not usable in March because of the weather, but if you get the chance to book over the summer it was be fantastic. Everything is in walking distance, the lemon leaf is close by for breakfast, we would highly recommend! Dinos just at the end of the road is great.

Excellent spacious apartment, very quiet, clean and warm, with everything you'd need to feel right at home, and literally a minute walk into town. Fantastic location to enjoy Dungarvan's many cafes, pubs and restaurants, and the private car space is an added bonus, We would 100% recommend the apartment if you are staying in Dungarvan or want someplace nice as a base for travel around the South.

Maureen is a wonderful host. We had a late check-in, she waited for us, told us how and what to use in the house, recommended places to visit, bought us food, which was very nice of her. The house is located on a tranquil street, but at the same time, there is a shop nearby and only about 30 minutes to the city center. All photos correspond to reality. The house has everything necessary for a comfortable stay, and we felt at home. Many thanks, Maureen, we had a lovely stay and will be happy to return to your home again!

A great house with lots of space. Bigger than the photos and a lovely view from the back of the house. Located in a quiet street. Comfy beds. Well equipped kitchen. Nice touches around the house including umbrellas and walking sticks. Recommended restaurants Ravi, Guys and Mancinnis. Thanks Laura a great stay.

Traumhafte Lage, einfacher und problemloser Check-in, sehr sauber und es gab sogar ein paar Kleinigkeiten zur Begrüßung. Die Unterkunft ist wirklich empfehlenswert! Man fühlt sich wohl. Die Lage des Hauses ist perfekt für Ausflüge aller Art. Wir haben uns direkt wohl gefühlt.

It was a super nice house and was neatly maintained. We had a nice view of the sea and nature. It was also a super nice neighbourhood and friendly neighbors. Also the the communication with Doris was smooth & fast. Thank you!

We booked Miriam's place for a wedding in Aherlow House Hotel and it was absolutely perfect! Our bridesmaids stayed in the house and my wife got ready for our wedding there! The views were beautiful and Miriam allowed us to check in early so that my wife would have plenty of time to get ready. it made our day so much less stressful! thank you so much!

Mike was incredibly friendly and helpful, offering great recommendations and tips. He even surprised us with fresh homemade scones in the morning! On checkout day, he kindly let us stay longer since no guests were arriving. The place is cozy and private, with a well-equipped kitchen and stunning views. The location is perfect, offering both comfort and a wonderful atmosphere. Highly recommend!

I had great time here and the apartment is lovely within walking distance of everything. I will definitely be back.

Maureen was an incredible hostess - very responsive and flexible. Her place is wonderful and in the middle of incredibly beautiful country!

We had a lovely stay at Michelle’s place in Clifden. It was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and so much more spacious than in the photos. The luxury bedding, robes and towels made it feel like a hotel, but with all the comforts of home. The kitchen was really well equipped (with a Sage coffee machine!) and there was plenty of room for our dog’s bed in there too. It’s rare to find somewhere so nice that’s also dog friendly—we were really impressed. The location was great, super close to town for restaurants and shops, but still peaceful and ideally placed for driving to lots of beautiful walks in Connemara. Michelle had thought of everything and was really communicative and helpful throughout. Would highly recommend for a fabulous stay and host!

Michelle’s place was in a great location so close to all the things in the city and just outside! We enjoyed the modern decor and the patio outside was so cute! We stayed over St Patrick’s day, so it was a bit loud outside at times, but, the place was comfy and suited our family of 5 adults well. Would book again on a return trip.

We had a wonderful stay in Carmel's airbnb. This was the 2nd time staying here and we wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Carmel is a fantastic host and very responsive to all our questions. The place was spotless and catered to all our needs. The views from the front and back of the airbnb are stunning. The front has views to the water and the back has views to the mountains. We enjoyed sitting out in the conservatory while we had out coffee each morning. We have stayed in many airbnbs and this one is our favourite.
