The house was thoughtfully decorated and stocked with everything we needed for our one-week stay! Lovely touches like bread, chocolates, etc. Elizabeth was very responsive and accomodating. Spacious house inside and out. Fireplace and electric blankets helped keep us warm at night. Farm views (and occasionally, smells 😅) were very peaceful.

Great semi isolated location with small interesting town with all requirements within 4 kms. The place is beautifully peaceful and restful. Ideal for us.

Very comfortable home amongst beautiful trees and nature. The home had just about everything you'd need to occupy a young (or young at heart!) family, though no wi-fi (probably a blessing!). Luci had thought of everything in terms of stocking the utility areas and kitchen which made for a hassle free stay. Thanks Luci!

Lovely quiet cottage in a beautiful location. Lots to do in the local area. Greeted by Luca the friendly dog, and Tony and Jacky were wonderful hosts who went over and above by providing homemade bread and cake!

Wonderful place for the kids as well as adults to unwind. Enjoyed day trips to Bendigo, Castlemaine and Maldon and walks around the property. Would book again.

Thanks for having us! We had such a wonderful time! The place is well-furnished, cozy, and equipped with everything we needed. Our toddler had an amazing time exploring the farm, interacting with the animals, picking fresh strawberries and veg, and enjoying fresh eggs for breakfast. It was such a lovely getaway and farm experience for our family including our dog. :) We would highly recommend!

We have just spent 4 nights here. The cute little farmhouse overlooks paddocks and misty hills with cow, sheep and birds! It's on private property a little way from town so it is very quiet and private. The inside is nicely renovated and has everything you might need to be comfortable. The directions online described how to get there perfectly (hint: don't trust Google Maps!) We had car troubles on our second day and were navigating a pretty stressful situation. The hosts couldn't have been more helpful and kind. We had a lovely stay, Thanks Martine and Daniel.

We can not fault our stay at Kat and Angus' property 'The Nest'. We felt very welcomed from the start. The property grounds are beautiful and peaceful, the perfect place to unwind and relax amongst nature. The accomodation itself was just stunning and super clean. All the essentials were provided, along with some nice little extra treats. We especially enjoyed the indoor fireplace and outdoor bath. Highly recommend staying here.

The location is amazing for this property! We had great vacation and enjoyed our time.

Although the cabins are a little dated they are well maintained and furnished. Being at the animal sanctuary is definitely the highlight, walking around to see the wide variety of animals there was great fun for our bub.

We had a peaceful and relaxing stay. Star gazing in the hot tub was our highlight. Would recommended it for anyone who loves the farm and being with nature. We saw alpacas and kanagaroos in the backyard. Very high quality kitchenware when cooking up a storm. Great night sleep, the mattress and pillows were comfy! Only feedback is to have entrance lights/driveway lights to the cottages. Note, we arrived quite late in the dark. Otherwise, loved the experience!

We booked Paramoor because I was looking to find somewhere similar to my childhood home - and I was successful. We were surrounded by beautiful gums. We loved all the birds (black cockatoos, kookaburras, wrens, corellas and best of all, the hens (who looked like they were straight out of an Aardman movie). The cabin was lovely – a perfect hideaway that was rustic but had every modern convenience you might need. There was a wood fire and enough wood for the entire weekend. We roamed through paddocks, meeting kangaroos, as well as their friendly horses and sheep. We enjoyed a wine tasting and had an amazing dinner in Kyneton at Midnight Starling. Lunch the next day at Little Swallow Café. We drove back to Melbourne feeling refreshed but would have preferred to stay longer. Our hosts were helpful, informative and very genuine in their enthusiasm for their business. I highly recommend.

A beautiful cottage, clean and tidy and beautiful views out the back. The animal visitors added extra charm and we loved how easy it was to walk to local cafes and shops. We would book again in a heartbeat!

This was a fantastic place we stayed at which was nice and private and had an amazing view. Fiona was very pleasant to deal with and was very accommodating to our needs, everything about the place was awesome and we would definitely like to stay here again in the future!

It was our second time staying at Avalon, and we loved it. Such a great way to spend a few relaxing and enjoyable days in the country, but will all the amenities of home. Outstanding stay, and the highlight was Joel taking us on a tour of the farm. Great for families too, we will be back again.

Frans place was so perfectly set up for our weekend away, everything you could need to have a cozy stay including cooking tools and incredibly comfortable beds. Truly the most magical time. Felt very at home

Our group of 8 very much enjoyed our stay at The Kingsley. Beautifully appointed, in a central King Valley location, the spacious property was welcoming and very comfortable. We greatly appreciated extras like a stock of firewood for the fire pit and comfortable deck chairs. Highly recommended.

Beautiful stay, everything we had hoped for. Stayed for our wedding weekend and the serene surroundings made for a peaceful and enjoyable stay. They have created a beautiful space with everything you could need.

Tegan and Rhys are the most beautiful people and I’m in awe of what they’re doing for the animals. We absolutely loved getting to know the chooks, peacocks, sheep and lamas. Like the description says this is a working farm so expect the things associated with a farm. We had a 1yr old and were so grateful to use the toys but did find managing the space a little tricky with lots of drawers and cleaning products in reach of little hands. We would love to come back.

Fantastic family stay. The kids had the best time running around and playing on the big grassy area. The views over the paddocks are stunning. The house was comfy and warm. We couldn’t fault our stay. So much room and so so peaceful.
