There is nothing more frustrating than not being able to have a decent shower while you are on vacation. That was absolutely not the case here. The hot water and water pressure in both bathrooms was exceptional. This is a great place in a great area. We will definitely try to get back here.

This is a wonderful place to stay if you are visiting UConn or the surrounding area. Keri and Jason were fabulous hosts and very responsive to my needs. Keri even anticipated needs by offering to have a fresh cup of coffee ready for me on the AM. Everything was perfect for my stay and there was definitely a comfortable feel. I will definitely be staying here in the future.

Me and my husband just wanted a quiet couple days to just enjoy each other's company and this was the perfect place. Even though the lake was frozen it was still a beautiful view and peaceful environment. Exactly what we needed!

We had a wonderful stay at Dustin's home! It was the perfect spot for our family (we have a 6-year-old) and the house was great. We did not need to use it, but there was a baby room/crib for folks with younger kids. Centrally located and easy to access highways and other spots. The hot tub was awesome and the backyard is nice to relax in. Dustin was quick to respond and shared local favorite places to eat. We did not need to do laundry or throw out garbage which was a nice change from other places we have stayed. We would definitely stay there again if we found ourselves in the area!

Overall a great place for a weekend getaway. The lake is beautiful and if you use the hot tub you can see the stars at night, it’s truly an amazing view. The shower was a bit tight to shower in, but all else was great no issues with water temperature or heater issues. The bed was SUPER comfortable, and the wood oven and couch was a nice touch with the string lights on the ceiling. I just wish I could have invited more friends over, as you are limited to 4 guests w/out additional charges but I will for sure be coming back sometime in the summer to fully enjoy the house! Robert was an awesome commutative, flexible host. Highly recommend!!

My husband and I stayed with our 19-month-old son for three nights and it was a perfect choice! Susan had a toys and books that he loved, as well as a sandbox and pool outside - and the home was stocked with everything we needed for our stay. We used the location as a jumping off point for other activities and then had quiet afternoons at the house while my husband rode his bike (we saw lots of other cyclists!). If you are vegan or vegetarian, check out the Shoreline Diner in Guilford - it was delicious.

A very last-minute decision to find a place while my house was getting painted. Linda’s garden studio was perfect in every way. She greeted me with a basket of muffins and her sweet dog Nelly Linda really is the reason why it was as comfortable stay. She is kind and thoughtful and knows everything about the area. Since I’m local, we plan to have dinner sometime soon or a walk the beach with our doggies.

Loved the tasteful decor, and the way this historic home has been modernized yet still holding its victorian charm. Many nice touches, and everything was nicely arranged. The bedroom is spacious and lovely. My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our time together staying at Lizzy's place.

This was a fabulous destination! We were looking for a big place to have a special anniversary party weekend with extended family, and this house had everything we needed. Plenty of bedrooms upstairs and first floor, many common gathering areas, large kitchen and dining room tables, and lots of Space. (And this doesn't even include the explorable property outside.) The dozens of photos in the listing were very helpful, as well as the detailed descriptions. We had specific needs for elderly relatives with disabilities, and owner Lynne was so responsive in her replies to my many messages with varied questions. Truly, Lynne, you deserve a gold star from Airbnb for promptness and offering up ways and help that made our stay both easier and fulfilling.

Lovely historic cottage on the bay, walkable to downtown Mystic. Easy access to Stonington, and all that is beautiful in the area. We were a party of three, the beds were beautifully made, everything was pristine and as advertised. Bay Street is just below the house in a quiet and peaceful area. Well stocked kitchen! Charming back yard and deck to sit and have coffee, all enclosed. Small separate cottage in the back for a private bedroom with its own bath and tv! Very responsive host! Overall an excellent experience for us.

Third stay at Azure cottage. A perfect location with amazing views any time of year

Cabin on Little River met our expectations and more. Myself, 2 sisters and my daughter wanted a quiet getaway. A charming open concept post and beam, pine floors and wood trim, woodstove for winter, deck with charcoal grill. It's very rural and IN the woods ( so bring bug repellant). Even though the host's home is visible you still feel tucked away. Kitchen and bath are modern and clean and the beds and livingroom were very comfortable. The soothing sound of the river is always present. It was relaxing to sit down in the adirondack chairs near its bank. The woods provide a place to walk. Lake is across the road. Glenn informed us of several events nearby that we were really interested in...but we never felt like leaving the cabin! There's a big firepit nearby and wood provided. Glenn is a wonderful host. A fellow artist, I asked to see his studio on the ground level. Even bought a couple small paintings. Do not hesitate to book this place if you are looking for a quiet respite!

I really enjoyed my stay here. The place was eclectic and comfortable. I loved how open and spacious the home was and appreciated the peacefulness of the area. I would definitely stay here again on future visits.

Thank you Charlotte for hosting my family and friends. Your home was the perfect size for us and slept 5 adults and 6 kids very comfortably. The living room, kitchen, and dining area gave us plenty of room to hang out and for the kids to play. I loved the location and close proximity to the park and water. I would love to come back to explore the area more once the warmer weather arrives.

What an incredible host and location. You know it is an amazing vacation when your 17 year old says he wants to go back and he loved the time with family. We brought our two dogs and it was a perfectly, peaceful get away. Loved the house, especially the yard and game room. Will stay again, definitely.

It was so nice to return to this place during a visit with my family in Connecticut. As always, it was comfortable and clean. We enjoyed cooking in the spacious kitchen each night.

Perfect spot for a group. Our team had a great time. Private and comfortable. We were able to rest, play, and work in the same spot.

Jennifer's place is mixture of modern and antique furniture and design, beautifully decorated, very peaceful, and kids friendly. My family and I had a blast and looking forward to visit again!!! Thank you Jennifer for everything😊

We had an excellent stay at the Bay Beach Farmhouse. Our host was so responsive and proactive to ensure that we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The house was extremely clean and perfectly located--a lovely heated pool and private beach access right in our backyard and a short drive to Greenport for lots of dining options. Highly recommend and hope to return!

Abbie’s house is so beautiful, peaceful and comfortable - a lovely and inviting place for our weekend getaway! We especially loved the record player, comfortable beds and relaxed vibe! Abbie was very responsive and helpful in navigating our questions for local advice in the area. A wonderful North Fork experience, one that I highly recommend!
