This was a truly beautiful home that was perfect for our week along the coast of Connecticut. The home was impeccably clean and setup with an amazing bathroom and kitchen. Set in a peaceful area north of Niantic, it was a perfect place for my family and I to head out to many coastal adventures. We had close access to Mystic and New Haven with a short road trip to Newport. Jason and Colleen were wonderful hosts and have setup their place amazingly easy to get in and utilize. From the available bikes in the basement to the games my kids quickly found to play, this was a perfect place for us this week. Highly recommend to others looking for a great CT coastline getaway!

My main search was for a pet friendly rental so I could invite friends with a senior golden retriever. And secondly I wanted to be near the ocean. Having lived on Cape Cod for 25 years, I moved back to Connecticut a year ago after the passing of my wife. But the call of the ocean never fades and this rental was steps from East Beach. My stay was in February and the weather wasn't the best, but beach walks are always best when the only footsteps in the sand are your own. The rental was very accommodating with 3 bedrooms, a spacious living area and large, fully equipped kitchen. Plenty of outdoor seating is also included. Melissa was very attentive and always responded quickly when needed. I definitely recommend this rental for a peaceful adult retreat or for a full family vacation. Kids will love it with the big yard and kayaks available. Enjoy, John

The house felt like coming home. Everything you need was provided. The location is beautiful as is the surrounding area. We needed proximity to family and this was a perfect spot. All the amenities in the home were available and perfect for a weeklong stay. Thank you for a great stay!

This home was so beautiful- I think even better in person than the photos, and the photos are already beautiful. We felt so at home, Cathy was helpful, responded quickly for any questions I had, gave lots of information on the area and recommendations for food/coffee. Highly recommend!

This lake house was absolutely beautiful! Brought my girls there as a little get away in preparation for my wedding day. Jhismery was responsive so quickly and so accommodating with some questions I had. Stunning view of the lake and the house had this homey feel to it. I would book it again as a weekend getaway again!

Beautiful and easy little cottage, lovely porch with wonderful big swing to nap on with the pup, luscious huge lawn to feel space and privacy, and absolutely beautiful lake view, easy rock step into shallow section to launch our floaties and Wayne’s paddle boards. Easy living with picnic table and great Weber grill, and second small fridge in the boat house. A keeper!

Dear Shubert and Samantha, I wanted to express how much I enjoyed my stay in your studio. The space is beautifully decorated and the amenities were fantastic. I particularly appreciated the well-stocked bathroom and the thoughtful touches like the coffee, tea, and half-and-half in the fridge. The bed was very comfortable and the views were wonderful – I was even lucky enough to experience a snowfall during my stay! The neighborhood is peaceful and walkable, which made it easy to explore downtown and attend the Goodspeed Festival of New Musicals. Your instructions for accessing the studio were clear and easy to follow. I also appreciated the offer of a garage space, although I didn't need it this time. Staying at Robert’s place was such a great experience. The property was beautiful, and the surrounding area was calm and scenic making it feel like a perfect getaway. Robert was super responsive and easy to talk to, which made everything smooth from start to finish. It was really nice meeting him in person—he even greeted us in Swedish and gave us a little tour of the place, which made us feel extra welcome. We look forward to come visit again to explore the area more!

Becky is a wonderful host, the bungalow is airy, sunny with large windows that all have a view of the lake with a variety of birds to watch. The outside sitting area is great for morning coffee. We took a relaxing walk around the lake which is butted up to a state park.The surrounding towns are a must to visit especially Chester, which is my favorite. We will visit again !

Such a cute little stay! Everything was so clean. The bed and couch were very comfortable and the view from the entrance was beautiful! Wonderful home in a fun little town, would definitely recommend!!

Thanks Jennifer! This spot is close to the downtown as well as other fun activities like the aquarium, great restaurants, and the pequotsepos nature center. Jennifer communicated well and the space had lots of charm and was decorated so lovingly. Highly recommend it!

Josephine's place was spotless and super historic. The kitchen had coffee and everything you need it was an amazing stay. It was was just a few minute walk and drive from downtown Mystic. We will def be back again. It was a perfect relaxing few days there. I recommend her place to anyone wanting to stay in CT.

I didnt want to leave this little cabin in the woods. It felt rustic but had all the modern amenities you would expect in a home. From the rocking chairs on the porch to the comfy beds, there is nothing I could complain about, even if I tried. Marilyn gave excellent suggestions of places to eat and local current events. We left with fall apples, bellies full of clam chowder, and gigantic smiles!!! We have already started planning our return!

Place was amazing! Had a comfortable and peaceful stay. Is a beautiful home and close to everything that is needed. Loved how private it was and how clean everything was. Highly recommend.

Great lakeside retreat! Perfect for our small family!

Kevin was very communicative from the start. He met me at the door and gave an accurate lay of the land. The cabin was the perfect rustic place for our trip. The lake view was amazing and waking up to a beautiful sunrise and having coffee on the deck was an amazing way to start each day.

We had an amazing stay at this cabin. Tucked away in the woods right on the lake, it was incredibly peaceful and the perfect place to relax. The cabin itself was adorable, clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. We only spoke to the host (Angela) briefly, but she was so kind and welcoming, and let us know she was available if we needed anything. It truly felt like a hidden gem, and we can’t wait to come back!

Liz was excellent in responding to my message. We enjoyed our stay. The house is clean and the view is beautiful.

Jessica’s cabin was perfection. We visited during a sunny fall weekend and spent the whole time outside canoeing, playing croquet, and sitting by the fire-pit. Then we moved inside to hang out by the fireplace inside. It is a lovely, private spot and comes fully equipped with everything you need.

This was a great spot for our family reunion. Spacious and open living area, comfortable furniture, fully supplied kitchen, the works! We loved the location near a local pond and the ocean and appreciated the quiet surroundings.
