Dorothy’s place is wonderful. It’s a very comfortable place to stay and we loved the outside patio. It had all the amenities we needed and Dorothy was super responsive to our questions. The view from the house/patio is breathtaking and we would definitely stay here again

Dots place was extremely clean and conveniently located within an easy walk to numerous shops, restaurants and the harbor . Located on the second floor. The beds were comfortable and the apt suited our needs while on a tour of Skye. Would recommend

The apartment was perfect for me.The standard and quality of everything is very high. It was immaculately clean,a good supply of towels,everything you could possibly need in the kitchen,lovely toiletries in the bathroom and in a great location with views across the bay. I had a lovely time and wished I could have stayed longer.

This was our first visit to Skye and the cottage was the perfect place to stay. It is attached to the owner’s home but otherwise in a fairly remote location. The owners are really friendly and helpful and the location is unbelievably beautiful! The cottage was very welcoming with colourful decor, cosy and had everything that we needed. Easy parking for the car outside the door. We stayed with our dog and were all very comfortable during the stay and sad to leave when it was over.

Calling the Flora Apartment "home" for the duration of our stay was the best decision we made for our trip! All of us lived extremely comfortably and thoroughly enjoyed all the amenities that come with your stay. The property was nothing short of beautiful and the location could not have been beat! I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone staying in the area and do hope to again myself!

We had a delightful six night stay at Njord House. It was exactly what we wanted (remote and quiet, but accommodation of a high standard), and when we weren’t hill walking we were able to take advantage of the lovely environment that the property provides. It is very clean, tastefully decorated, comfortable and well equipped, and has lovely views over the loch through large floor to ceiling windows. Adelaide was a very attentive host, and communication was responsive and comprehensive. Very highly recommended. We would love to return.

Our stay was perfect- from sunrise to sunset, we saw it all evolving from the living room (or a very short walk to the water). Is it trendy- no. Is it perfect- absolutely yes. We can't recommend it highly enough. The best stocked kitchen we have come across. And Don was so responsive and helpful. We need to spend longer next time - we didn't get to see everything we wanted on Skye. But what we saw we fell in love with.

Amanda was very kind and helpful on our arrival allowing access to the property early. The boathouse was spotlessly clean with beautiful views over the water where swans swam. Everything in the house worked perfectly and Amanda’s instructions were easy to follow. We thoroughly enjoyed our four nights here and had ample opportunity to explore the surrounding area. Having the supermarket close by and a pub within a short walk was very useful. We would happily return.

Wonderful stay. Well situated to expore North and South UIst, with lovely cafe, fish shop, and wool shop, within easy access. Had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Very thoughtfully, and tastefully, furnished and equipped. Lovely views of the loch, and very entertaining sheep wandering by. Robin and Michelle couldn't have been more helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our break in their beautiful cottage.

Wir waren im August auf der Isle of Skye. In der Unterkunft von James & Fiona haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Hütte ist zwar etwas abgelegen vom nächsten Ort, ist mit dem Auto aber sehr gut erreichbar und über Google Maps auch sehr einfach zu finden. In der Hütte ist alles vorhanden was zum Kochen und Leben nötig ist. Die Unterkunft ist sauber und gut gepflegt. Vor der Anreise bekamen wir bereits Anweisungen wie wir einchecken können und Tipps welche Restaurants und Läden in der Nähe sind. Auch die Kommunikation während des Aufenthalts war super. Leider hatten wir eine Tasche in der Unterkunft vergessen, diese wurde uns freundlicherweise sogar zugesendet. Für einen Aufenthalt auf der Isle of Skye können wir die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen.

Beautiful little home in a stunning remote location. On our first day we were treated to views of white tailed eagles soaring above the Loch from the big picture window. Debbie had great recommendations for where we could eat out, even out of season, and was very quick to respond and helpful when needed.

Felt like home. We stayed at Braes Retreat for four weeks and we loved every minute. The location is great for travelling around Skye as it’s pretty central but it still has that quiet isolation that most people come to Skye looking for. The house has everything you need, it’s very clean and comfy and Iain and Ingrid are great hosts to help you out with any issues. As all the other reviews say, the garden is spectacular, the views are beautiful and it’s generally a really lovely place to stay.

We stayed at Margaret’s house from 23 December to 28 December. The house was lovely and had everything we needed. The location was great and easy to get around the island. Views from the house were exceptional. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Location, location, location - that is why I choose this listing as my wife was joining me after a business trip to Scotland and I wanted to make sure she was comfortable and we had a nice place to stay. It wasn't inexpensive - this is probably the most we have ever paid - but I know my wife. Looking over the options in Portree, there was too much at risk choosing a B&B or hotel, I needed to be sure that the stay was excellent. And it was! The view was exceptional, the property clean and largely odor-free (it is next to a fish and chips shop, so the kitchen had a bit of an odor, but the bedrooms were odor-free!). I would stay here again, as noted, not inexpensive - but not many choices for AirBnb in Skye so this was by far the best choice in my opinion!

It was fabulous: the appartement, the surroundings, the view from the apparentment window. Lita and Carol spoiled us with a stuffed fridge with all kinds of local scottish food to discouver. And if we had a question they responded immediately. The best place we’ve ever been.

We very much enjoyed our holiday in Sheena‘s cottage. It was perfectly equipped for our stay and the view is absolutely spectacular. We hope to return!

We can’t express enough how amazing Fiona’s Airbnb is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Her beautiful personal touches, fresh flowers, chocolates, delicious coffee and snacks with a lovely welcoming on the chalk board inside was so lovely. We will return it was THAT GOOD

I visited the Isle of Lewis for work and found Mark & Eves place - AirBnB said it was rarely available and I can see why. I like to have my own space while working away from home and this property checked all the boxes. The property was super clean and I felt right at home, the kitchen facilities were perfect and the corner sofa was so comfy! Mark was super helpful and responsive to any of my messages and was more than happy to provide me with some local knowledge and recommendations to make the most of my free time. It was my first time on the island and I was sadly working for a majority of my trip but will be looking to visit again for leisure and will be booking the property again! Thanks again Mark & Eve :)

Beautiful, peaceful spot off the beaten path — couldn’t imagine a better place to stay for my first time to Skye. Takes a bit to get most places, but it’s so worth it to stay in this wonderful home (clean, spacious, private) with a spectacular view from every room! Rosie is a terrific host, extremely friendly and made me feel right at home. She had some eggs, bread and fruits waiting for me after my long drive up, which I found to be a special touch. Her dogs and cat are sweethearts as well! 100% recommend.

beautifull place with an amazing view. John was also incredibly kind and quick to respond when we got a little lost all due to my own fault. The room was spacious with a nice kitchen and a very cozy area to just chill after a long day of hiking. the room was a bit chilly, but with the heaters it warmed up in no time. If we would stay there again (and we'd love to!) we would've done a bit more groceries in the co-op in Broadford so we'd be able to use the kitchen more. Skye is an amazing place to visit, and staying at John and Ann's place is probably one of the best ways to experience it.
