Wow! I have stayed in so many places and never would have expected to find such a fabulous place so close to SFA where my niece goes to school. So beautiful, so private, a true piece of paradise. The owners really did think of their guests when building their cabins. We stayed in Antlers which is the largest. A true log cabin, it has a large deck overlooking a ravine with a creek at the bottom. The cabins are all far enough apart that you will have complete privacy. They have a cute common area with sport options and a hot tub, again private from the cabins. There are just not enough words to describe how peaceful and lovely this property is. They have even made a trail along the creek. We were here celebrating my moms 80th bday and on the morning we were leaving mom and I walked that trail. Do it! You will not regret it. LOVE LOVE LOVE and hope to be back someday. My family lives in La Porte but I live in Northwest Indiana. It was truly a lovely visit.

We had a little hiccup with the gate code, but once we were able to get in touch with Marcia it all worked out! The cabin was fabulous, clean, and kept us warm despite the weather acting up! The hot tub was warm and covered allowing us to enjoy despite the misty weather. Overall, it was a wonderful experience ☺️

The hosts were very personable and accommodating! I felt right at home from the very beginning. I stayed in the Treehouse cabin which was perfect for my solo vacation. Check-in process was straightforward with no extra time wasted so you can get right to enjoying the property. If you’re escaping the chaos of city life Stag Leap is the place to be. Extremely private, top tier cleanliness, and an amazing view to top it off!

Beautiful location that was right on the creek. We loved adventuring around the grounds. The amenities were wonderful. We loved that there was disc golf baskets too! Location was clean and peaceful. I will be recommending it to all my family and friends.

The cabin was very nice. The location is perfect for those fishing on Sam Rayburn. Would love to stay here next time we are in the area.

It was great fish didnt cooperate. Leslie helped with some sessoning for the steaks. Real nice trip. You might want to bring a pot or two if you plan on cooking. Will surely be back again. Thanks

Beautiful place to stay. We enjoyed it very much. Some bathroom amenities were missing, but we found them in a closet. Comfortable bedding and beds. Having TV was a big plus. One power issue that flipped the electricity which I believe is linked to running the heated bathroom floor, which we loved, and running the hair dryer or fireplace at the same time. Easily remedied. I would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed the cabin and our stay. Didn't want to come home. Zack and staff were welcoming and very nice. Great place and we will be back!!!!

Warren was a super host and we loved the cabin. He was flexiible with our check in and even though Airbnb double booked he didn't skip a beat and made sure we (and the other party) were accommodated. Can't say enough kind things about this place. Water view, quiet, woodsy, just beautiful. We'll definitely be back!

Wanted a quiet weekend getaway and this place was perfect. The area is beautiful and quiet and Eugene was extremely helpful! 10/10 experience! 😄

Had a very wonderful stay! The animals were so beautiful, and the cabin was so adorable and perfect for the two of us. Very nice Rustic Farmhouse vibes. The pictures do not do this place justice! -you should see for yourself. :)

We loved our stay here! We plan on even trying to rent out all the little cabins we be summer after this visit for all our family! It was great fishing and plenty of privacy around the fires and seating outside! Just all of it was great and we love deebo!

The Ash Cabin was extremely cozy and provided a beautiful view of the lake and the included firepit on the porch helped keep us warm as we sat outside. Lori was extremely quick to respond and helped solve any problems that arose during our trip. There is also a cute, seemingly stray, cat that roams the whole plot of land and was extremely nice, hanging out with us on the porch late at night. Overall this cabin was completely worth the stay. 5/5 Stars.
