The place was in a convenient location and was close by the grocery. Space was very minimalist and has a staircase access going to the second floor. We were 5 adults, 2 kids and an infant and we booked last minute so the amenities prepared were for 4 that time. It was hard to manage the heater since the breaker would get tripped when we had to run the heater on all the rooms and was told to run the heater one at a time. During this time , it was an unusually cold winter and it was hard to manage with all the kids freezing. I suggest to bundle up or bring some hand warmers.

Location was amazing! On a quiet street right in the center of town with all the restaurants, shops, and bars. It’s a quick walk (uphill) to the slopes. Plenty of space for 2 with a small kitchenette and a comfy queen bed. Highly recommend!

this is our 1st winter experience here is Kusatsu. the gas heater is really toasty, but it take awhile to warm the entire room. the futon on the far side (closest to the kitchen) is the chilliest as it is far from the heater. very easy to walk to the city center. some notes : the step on the stair to the second floor is narrow, so need to be extra careful. it is a very nice place to stay a night. will recommend

Kims Wohnung ist ein toller Ort, um Matsumoto zu erkunden. Die Wohnung liegt etwa 10 Minuten zu Fuß von der Burg entfernt. In der Nähe sind Restaurants und Supermärkte zu finden. Die Wohnung ist toll eingerichtet, so dass bis zu 6 Personen genügend Platz finden.

Darren and Grant were both excellent hosts, they provided everything we could need. Shuttles, luggage shipping and any questions/ recommendations we could need.

The house was beautifully spacious, clean and toasty warm! Super close to the train station/ bus shuttles and supermarket. The house itself had everything you need! Pete was extremely great at communicating and helping us with the best local places to eat and organising transport. If I come back to Hakuba I’ll definitely be booking this place! 10/10

Seasons Apartments was a great place to stay to access the slopes. It is a very short walk to the lifts, ski hire (which has a small coffee shop), and the ski school. There are numerous restaurants in easy walking distance (make sure you book well ahead). The staff are all Australian, and friendly, helpful, and responsive with supermarket and restaurant runs, and transfers to the station if needed. I really could not fault these apartments and location, it was excellent. I will certainly recommend it to anyone wanting to ski at Hakuba.

Vi var sju personer som bodde i lägenheten. Den var väldigt fin och hade alla bekvämligheter som man kan tänka sig. Synd att vi bara hade möjlighet att stanna över en natt.

We had a great stay at Omusubi. Ryuichi, as everyone else mentioned, is such a helpful and kind host who greeted us personally. He gave us great recommendations and is always responsive when we had questions. The place is a walk away from Cortina and a few mins drive from Norikura, so convenient for skiing. The whole unit is clean and spacious, and the heating is great! The only slightly downside is that the soundproofing isn’t so great, so you’d hear sounds from the next room and outside if there is significant noise. Thankfully the area doesn’t seem to be noisy so we weren’t too affected. Overall it is still an excellent option for the Hakuba area!

From the moment I arrived, everything was smooth and easy. The place was sparkling clean, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities I could ask for. The kitchen/ living space was fantastic!! Also the bath! Overall, this was one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve had, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, hassle-free stay.

The apartment in the forest was quiet and relaxing, surrounded by nature. It was impressive that we could see the stars so well.

The apartment was much nicer than what the pictures showed. A very nice place to stay for someone looking for a relaxing accommodation after a strenuous day or long drive.

Whilst the snow wasn’t what we hoped so late in the season we loved our time in Nozawa. Gab and his lovely family and staff made us so welcome as well as helping with all our questions and recommendations for ski hire and tours and the best of all, sending our excess baggage back to the airport allowing us to continue on our travels without our ski gear! The apartment was spacious and easily coped with 8 of us, perfect for larger groups. The apartment is located a 10 minute walk from main centre of town. We will be back!
