10/10 host and property! Our stay was beautiful, clean, and peaceful. The Airbnb had all the amenities we needed, check in was smooth, and the property was easily findable. Lastly, the host let us know when the northern lights were out and we were able to see them! Would stay with Polina again when we return.

Great stay for sure right on the lake that you can walk out to and be immersed into the nature, close by a populated city and a grocery store less then 15 minutes away would recommend

My husband stayed at Jim’s property for three nights and there are not enough great things I can say about it. The cabin is beautiful and we felt right at home. Jim greeted us as soon as we arrived and showed us the cabin and the property. The hot tub was easy to use and so nice to hang out in. We had a lovely evening hanging out with Jim and Teresa one night too. Fishing from the dock was fun too and there are a bunch of ways to get on the water if you would like too. The place was clean and clearly very loved. Overall this is a beautiful property and our time here was just perfect. Definitely recommend!

Imagine if Joanna Gaines and the Alaska wilderness fell in love and had a perfect 8lb 5oz blue eyed baby - that is this amazing little treasure tucked away in Big Lake! Every detail was done with love and care, and it made me want to live here for the rest of my adult life. I secretly hope no one else ever finds out about to so it’s always available when I want to book it. Michelle was amazing, and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Beautiful, spacious home. My two friends and I spent Christmas Eve and Day here. Playing board games, cooking dinners, and relaxing in the hot tub. The lake was frozen but it would be cool to see it in the summer. Great stay. Would book again.

All the amenities of home in the seclusion of Alaska, just 15 minutes off the well-beaten path! This place was just as lovely as the pictures show, if not better. We enjoyed the hot tub each night after long days exploring the lake and surrounding areas. The waterfowl and wildlife were unmatched. The WiFi was even better than back home. All facilities were immaculately maintained and well cared for and you can tell the folks that care for this cabin take a lot of pride in it. Please note: This cabin is truly off the well-beaten path. The last 10-15 minutes to the cabin include a mix of gravel roads and one ways. Jennifer went above and beyond in being communicative and transparent with us about the location and accessibility of this cabin and we knew what we were getting into. We were thrilled to stay in such a tranquil place where we saw only one car go by in 3 days! We will definitely be back!

Such a beautiful lakefront property! Super quiet and relaxing. The hot tub and fire pit are great touches and make you not want to leave. The inside was super clean and nice. Kitchen had everything needed to cook as well as coffee and local syrups. 10/10 would recommend

Wonderful and peaceful cabin. Great place to unplug and enjoy nature. Cabin and Sauna were wonderful and spotless. All the amenities you need. Beautifully furnished. Love the artwork and space was wonderfully furnished.

This is a wonderful private retreat where you can enjoy nature, and peace and quiet. The host responded quickly to every question that we had. Highly recommend!

The place was great. The kitchen was amazing. It was great to have laundry on site. The Bathroom has a very nicely updated. The only issues we found while there—which was not the cabin’s fault— we both have bad backs, was the bed was not very comfortable – was the bed and the couch were not comfortable for us. If you’re old or have a bad back, maybe this isn’t the best for you. Otherwise this place was amazing!

Appeared to be in the woods, turns out it’s in their backyard….still, nice little cabin, well appointed and comfortable.

This place was great. Clean one bedroom cabin, was perfect for our family with 2 kids. They had a brand new pack n play for us for the little one. Nice quiet area and they even had a dozen fresh eggs for us in the fridge. Nice fenced in area for our dog in the back yard. Will definitely be coming back.

Very nice and isolated cabin in the birch woods. The outdoor firepit gave the kids a ton of fun. They spent the evening lighting up fires and chopping woods. The cabin has 3 bedrooms with a couch downstairs for 7 people. The indoor fire furnace was easy to light up, but hard to control the tempreture. It was too hot for a few hours then a bit cold in the early morning. The kitchen/bath/dining areas are all nice. My family rated this cabin the best of the 4 airbnbs for this trip. Suggestion for future tenants: bring bug spray if the kids want to spend the evening out door with the firepit.

We had such a great stay and I can't recommend this place enough! Kelly is a great host; quick responses and very kind and flexible. Easy to find using Apple Maps, but one of our guests had a tough time when using Google Maps. Kelly recognized this though and provided good written instructions with her check in instructions. It is close to Sheep Creek Lodge, a great stop for a drink and a meal, but it is about 30 min south of Talkeetna. Great property, with a small trail to walk down to the pond. There are some yurts close by, but you cant really see them from inside the cabin, so it felt very peaceful and secluded. Super clean and a good mix of authentic Alaska and modern. Loved the fireplace and big windows!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Great cabin in the woods. Has a remote feeling but 15-20 minutes from base of Hatcher Pass and 15 minutes from town of Wasilla

This “little” log cabin was so cute. It’s 3 bedrooms so not very “little” once you get inside. The heating is so cozy as it looks like wood fired without the hassle or mess. The water pressure in the shower was wonderful and the hot water is plentiful! Full sized washer and dryer made having a family there easy. The two beds we used were really comfortable and well appointed (we didn’t need the third bedroom with the two twin beds). This darling cabin is close to shopping and restaurants but it feels very remote. Hoping to come back again!

Quiet place. Good location between Denali and Chugach. Easy daily trip distance to either of the parks. Beautiful nature!!

Awesome cabin with lots of amenities! Beautiful constructed and nice quiet and peaceful surroundings. Super comfy beds, was perfect for what me and my family needed!

The cabin was clean, cozy and comfortable. The setting is private, safe, quiet. I liked being close to Knik Lake for an event.
