My family and I had an amazing time at Jody's place! Everything was absolutely lovely - the house had a stunning view worth a million dollars from every angle, the lake was simply marvelous, and the town was incredibly welcoming with some fantastic dining options. Just a short 3 to 5 minute drive from the house, it was truly a wonderful experience. I highly recommend Jody's place to anyone looking for adventure and a beautiful place to stay in Wasilla, Alaska. Thank you once again to Jody for allowing us to enjoy your home - we will definitely be back soon!

This place was as described. Clean. Organized. Quiet. And peaceful. Yet not uncomfortably far from town and dining. We enjoyed the view and oversized windows looking out over the bluff. The neutral color scheme compliments the calm atmosphere. The hot tub was a perfect place to relax and unwind. The hosts were responsive and welcoming.

My second time staying here. Very clean, quiet, comfy and useful. I recommend others to stay here. I’m pretty picky about where I stay in this place worked well for our needs. Toilet could be larger. Lol But no real complaints. We had an enjoyable stay. Thank you, Joe & Jake Dwileski

This was one of our favorite airbnb stays to date! This home was perfect for our family. Beautifully decorated and extremely family friendly. My children felt right at home . I loved the family friendly accommodations and the hand written welcome note. We would love to visit here again!

We decided to stay outside the city of Anchorage for a fews before our cruise so we could do some exploring. The Chalet was an ideal location. It was very spacious for 4 of us. Super clean and had all the supplies we needed. Loved the view of the lake and the seaplane parked across from us. We met Stacy, Hali's mom who gave us all kinds of suggestions about the area and Alaska in general. Great experience all around.

Peaceful, private and comfortable cabin! Was the perfect couple’s get away. Bed was very comfortable, shower pressure was great with plenty of warm water, and the kitchen was well set up. We loved cozy feeling the wood stove added to the space and there was plenty of firewood provided. We’d gladly book this place again!

This is the second time we’ve stayed and it was just as amazing as the first! We love the addition of the kitchen. Dawn has thought of everything- comfy beds, lots of pillows, linens, blankets, and towels. The kitchen is fully stocked and the bathroom has everything you need. It’s so quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend Dawn’s place!

We’ve stayed here in mid-AK winter and now in spring. Love the deck and access to lawn and lake, great view and does not feel like we’re in the city, yet it is and location is perfect for easy access to local establishments. Place is super clean and one of the few places I’ve stayed that has everything a traveler could need.
