Great apartment! Great location! Very nice host! When we needed some equipment to the kitchen they took care of everything and bought good things. For us as a family with kids it was amazing! Thank you!

I stayed with Junko for 4 nights and it was such a good choice!! The house is a bus ride away from Kyoto station, the bus stop is very close to the house so it’s very easily accessible. There are many good restaurants and endless things to do around the house. The house itself is beautiful, the traditional garden and rooms were amazing. The two cats were also so cute and loving! Each room has a small kitchenette with everything you need and there is a washer and dryer available. I chose to take part in a tea ceremony with Junko and it was amazing, I couldn’t recommend it enough. The tea master was very knowledgeable and kind, I was even able to practice making my own tea! Junko is so kind, she always helped me when I had a question and she made my stay feel more like a home than a hotel. I would definitely recommend this home for anyone looking for a traditional experience, out of the main city centre, with a kind host. I would love to stay with Junko again in the future!

Nice, clean little apartment on the top floor. Our host was very helpful and met us when we arrived. The area is residential but with walking access to Hankyu/Metro, JR and the monorail.

This place is absolutely lovely, had a refrigerator which is amazing to store morning coffees (I love the 7/11 coffees) but also supplied tea and coffee with a kettle if needed. Natalie was so great for check in even though I ended up being super late because of trouble figuring out transport. There is a large hill to get up, but it's not too much of an issue as it's small. It's right near Hirakatashi station which has so many connections and the Keihan line which will get you everywhere. I had a few issues with the wifi in my room, but it was fine outside of my room so I just ended up working downstairs. Also had very easy checkout which was wonderful

Mi sono trovata molto bene nell’alloggio di Junko. In una posizione residenziale, ma facilmente raggiungibile il centro. L’alloggio era pulito e completo dei servizi igienici e anche di una piccola cucinetta. Lei è stata molto gentile ad accogliermi e a spiegarmi la casa. Il suo giardino è una meraviglia.

Located in a quiet residential area of Hirakata, very relaxed and cozy place to stay. Very warm and comfortable room and very easy to find on foot Short walk to the konbini and the local station. Soo peaceful standing outside when it’s snowing. Thank you for hosting me and thank you for a lovely place to stay :)

Really amazing traditional stay in Kyoto. You get a tour of the house including all the traditional aspects that really stand out compared to staying in a hotel. Easy transport links and good cheap restaurants nearby.

Thank you Wei for hosting us at your beautiful home. Wei's house is cosy, comfortable, clean and beautiful. We have plenty of space for a family of 4. Location is very close to Toji Station, Toji temple and walkable to Aeon shopping mall.

We had a wonderful stay at Icy’s place. She was easy and fast to communicate with. We were able to drop off our luggage and go exploring. The location was walkable to a lot of things we wanted to see. There was a wonderful bakery around the corner. We used the washing machine and discovered it was also a dryer. That was a nice surprise. The stairs are steep so I wouldn’t recommend for children, but this is a lovely stay for any couple.

Amazing stay! The whole place felt very homey.

We liked that the place was off the beaten path.yet within a 10 or 20 minute walk you where able to each most of the attractions and had a very good selection of restaurants and bars

We stayed here a night for weekend and we had a great fun! First of all, this place has such a cozy nice vibe, very spacious, and clean!!! I loved that the check-in/out time was quite flexible and the host was always available and friendly. We're coming back to this place for sure!

Amazing Airbnb. It was very clean and tidy in a very quaint neighborhood, was perfect to relax after a long day of sightseeing. Quick walk from Kyoto station, so there’s plenty of restaurants and convenience stores near by. Yi Hsiu provided crystal clear instructions to get from Kyoto station to her place. She’s maintained the place very well and has all of the listed amenities. Loved sleeping on the tatami bed, unique experience. The backyard was very nice as well!

Extraordinary place! Me and my family had planned to stay for just one night and after checking in we decided to stay to extend our stay. Hope to be back someday!

Beautiful home in a traditional, cozy neighborhood. It was beautiful ly decorated and peaceful. Location is a bit outside the main city area, which made it easy to access the national parks and monuments.
