Perfect Stay in Deale, MD I had a fantastic stay at this beautiful waterfront home on Carr’s Creek. The hosts were incredibly attentive and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. We had snow during my stay, and they had the driveway and sidewalks cleared almost immediately after it stopped—such a thoughtful touch! The views here are stunning—pictures don’t do this place justice. It’s peaceful, quiet, and in a friendly neighborhood where I felt completely safe. It’s also super convenient, close to great food and anything else you might need. The house felt like home—spacious, welcoming, and fully stocked, especially the fantastic kitchen. Whether cooking, bird watching, soaking in the hot tub, or taking in the view, it was the perfect getaway. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape with family or loved ones, I can’t recommend this place enough!

My family-5 of us- spent a week at Daniel’s home in North Beach, MD in late March 2025. The home was well appointed and beautiful, close to town and less than a hour from Wash. DC. Daniel was easy to work with and quick to respond with answers to any question we had. Not being from the area it was great to have access to the informative binder he had listing restaurants and sights worth seeing. Daniel’s home was everything we had hoped it would be.

Our stay at Sherry's place was perfect! The home was cozy, immaculate, and perfectly located for a peaceful escape. We loved the cozy coastal vibes that made us feel right at home. The decor was thoughtfully curated, with touches that reflected the beauty of Chincoteague’s coastal charm. Sherry was a wonderful host and we will definitely come back in the future!

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay. We liked that the home was in a quieter area in Chincoteague but within close proximity to restaurants, activities and especially to Assateague. There were only two of us, but the house could have easily accomodated a family. It was well laid out, clean and amply stocked with all the essentials. It was also tastefully furnished and had comfy couches. My only wish was that the house had cable or one of the movie channels, so that in the evening, we might have relaxed with a show before bedtime. One day, we took Captain Dan's boat tour, a recommendation from Kathleen, and it was an exciting and interesting outing. We traveled the back channels in the marshes where we saw lots of ponies and a bald eagle soared overhead in one area. Captain Dan had lots of stories to share which kept us entertained the whole trip. Since it was our anniversary, we splurged on a five course dinner at the Channel Bass Inn and Restaurant. Food was excellent.

This was a wonderful getaway for my family and friends. We had two toddlers that loved the river beach and pool. There were plenty of toys to keep the kids and adults busy!

We go to Chincoteague regularly but this was the first time we brought our two dogs. The result was awesome. The cottage was a perfect size for us. It was nice, cozy and clean. Both dogs give Christy's place two paws up!

We had a great time staying at Betty's wonderful waterfront house. Our family of five plus some friends (another family of five) had plenty of space for everyone in this charming, well-kept home. Beautiful hardwood floors and comfy beds. It had one of the best stocked kitchens we've ever had—ample silverware, cookware, small appliances, TONS of spices and such— which is always important since we always cook lots of meals at home. Though our weather was pretty rainy, the six kids all loved being able to walk along the river and search for rocks and sea glass and everything else. The big backyard was great for football and playing catch. Everyone loved the inside of the home and the selection of games. Just a 15 or 20-min walk to downtown Cambridge for us. This is definitely an "instant bookmark" house for our family and we look forward to coming back at some point with other family or friends—especially in the summertime when we can spend more time outside.

Very cozy and quiet. It was a comfortable place to visit with our granddaughter, a local university student. Even had nice jig saw puzzles and a good sized table for working on the puzzle together. Kitchen is set up for cooking and nice fire-ring and bbq set-up adjacent to lovely deck. It would be suitable for a long stay.

We had a great time at Michael’s place! The beach view was beautiful, and we enjoyed morning coffee on the porch listening to the sound of the waves each morning. The firepit and grill were nice to have, along with everything in the home to make our stay comfortable. We loved all the unique artwork and fun decor as well. This was a relaxing couples weekend, but we’d like to return with our sons as the place was set up for kids to enjoy as well.
