The guesthouse is in a very central location, right in the middle of Kataharamachi shopping street, surrounded by restaurants. There’s a cozy café run by an elderly lady and a 7-Eleven right downstairs, making it super convenient to grab snacks, coffees or fresh fruit anytime. It’s about a 12–15 minute walk to both Takamatsu Port and Takamatsu JR Station, but don’t let the distance deter you—the streets of Takamatsu are very walkable, and the city itself is perfect for a relaxing stroll. It’s very relaxing. The guesthouse is warm and inviting, with a quiet atmosphere at night, making it an excellent choice for friends traveling together or families with babies. Highly recommended!

The best place we stayed on our trip to Japan! It’s the perfect blend of traditional features and modern conveniences. A wonderful alternative to bland hotels. We enjoyed the location near the shopping arcade and lots of place to eat. The bikes were a bonus and very handy in a city that’s easy and safe to get around. We had a great check in with lots of personalised information. Thanks to our wonderful hosts! Highly recommend 👍

A very cosy, comfortable and well appointed studio space that had absolutely everything you could need for your stay. Felt like a home away from home. Excellent location too, moments from the station and a short walk to excellent restaurants, bars and shopping. Would absolutely come back!

A very cosy and comfortable stay. The kitchen was wonderful, and we were able to cook lovely meals. The beds were comfy, the couch was perfect, and the location was walking distance to everything. Two thumbs up.

Highly recommend this cosy loft, one of the best airbnb's we have ever stayed in. It's stylish with thoughtful details. We loved the firm beds, warm duvets, projector and speaker, the warm and clean shower, the kitchen was exceptional for cooking space and eating at a table was a nice change. Its on the 3rd floor with narrow stairs, not a problem for our backpacks. The host is really nice and attentive along with his Co hosts. He gave us a great restaurant recommendation and couldn't do enough to make sure we were comfortable. A great base to visit the art island of naoshima. I will recommend it to anyone visiting Japan. The house was great. It's an old home but well maintained. If you want to see and know how it is to live in these type of houses I would 100% recommend this one. Nozomi reacts quickly if you have any questions. Enjoyed our stay at this house very much.

最高のステイでした。 今まで宿泊した中でもダントツでトップクラスのお宿でした。 綺麗で整頓されておりデザインもオシャレで、特に2階の大開口の窓からの景色はただそこから見ているだけで、特別な時間になるほど素晴らしいものでした。 港からは少し離れていますが、逆に他に人が居らずプライベート空間でとてもくつろげました。 またスタッフの方の対応もとても迅速で丁寧で親切で全くストレスなく、安心して宿泊できました。 連れてきた家族も大満足だったので、またみんなで暖かい時期に来たいと思います。ありがとうございました。

3日間大変お世話になりました！ また機会があれば利用させていただきます。

漂亮又美好的房子，設備齊全，既有傳統日式房子的特色，又有洋式房子的雅致。 屋主夫婦熱情友善招待，令我們很開心，感覺很溫暖，屋內有零食飲品，漂亮的庭園景致，以及可愛的小狗ノンちゃん，都令我們能夠好好放鬆。 女主人每天早上為我們準備的早餐，無論是日式還是洋式，都十分美味又好看，比餐廳還吸引！ 我們在四國的八天旅程，最令我印象深刻、再三回味的，就是住在遊月的兩日，謝謝屋主夫婦提供美好的住宿體驗，為我們的旅程劃上圓滿句號，亦令我們對香川縣的風土人情，留下美好印象和回憶！

2nd time in Japan and Khaki’s was one of my favourite stays/memories!! His place has a unique “cabin in the woods” feel, surrounded by beautiful trees, with a fire pit. Yet has all the amenities to make it comfortable (heating, hot shower etc). Khaki was amazing, super responsive and friendly, he came to pick us up at the station, drive us to the supermarket so we could buy dinner to make on the barbecue (delicious!). We also did pottery with him and cannot recommend enough! It was such a wholesome time, his parents popped in to say hi, and the whole family are not only the loveliest people but also polymaths - potters, carpenters, musicians…there’s nothing they can’t do and have loads of stories to tell!! Highlight of our trip so far if you’re happy to make the easy train/bus ride there from Kurashiki!

We hebben enorm genoten van deze prachtige Airbnb ! Absoluut de mooiste die we op onze rondreis door Japan gehad hebben! De ruimte is met veel liefde en smaak ingericht, en voelt geen huiselijk aan. Alles was zeer schoon, en we kwamen niets tekort. Er lagen zelfs voedingsproducten voor ons als kadootje. Deze ruimte kunnen we iedereen aanbevelen. De host is een bijzonder vriendelijk en zeer gastvrij echtpaar wat je een hartelijk welkom geeft als je aankomt.
