Came for our honeymoon for a simple getaway and this was perfect! Amazing views, not far from pubs/towns and was overall just peacefully perfect. Would definitely book to stay again!!

It was our second stay at the cottage and we will be back again. Wonderful, quiet spot surrounded by beautiful gardens and views of the hills around Waipawa. Johanna and Andrew are the perfect hosts. It was a great stay.

While perfectly private and set amongst beautiful countryside the place was a great base for exploring Hawkes Bay without being too far from anything— and with a great spa and sauna to relax in after a long day! Cam provided us with greens and herbs from the garden and a fantastically bright and sunny demeanor despite the rainy weather— making a memorable experience for our family we hope to repeat in the near future.

Thank you for a wonderful stay. The cottage was modern and had everything we needed, the outlook was just beautiful and we were so close to everything in town. Even though it rained most of our visit, we still enjoyed every second of our stay. We LOVED being able to get up close with the farm animals, our 6 year old had a blast! 10/10 and highly recommend to stay here. Hopefully we’ll be able to visit again from our next visit from Australia ❤️

We needed a break from Wellington and booked this place for a couple of nights. Had an amazing stay - the place was perfect for our family and it even had a gym so I could workout. Nicky was a wonderful host - warm, inviting and incredibly easy to communicate with. Highly recommend and I hope we can come back

We had a great stay, the cottage was lovely and the surrounding property beautiful. We were within easy distance for everything we wanted to do.

Great stay, very clean and had everything we needed - fully equip kitchen, comfy beds, aircon in the main living area, quiet and peaceful but only 15-20min from the town. Compared to other places we have stayed in Hastings for similar prices, this airbnb was much better value.

We had a lovely stay! We arrived in the dark and waking up to that view was something else! Such a special spot to take little ones, being able to come back and forth from the beach as we pleased was fantastic! Also loved the family feel of the Bach - you could tell there were many happy memories had there over the generations! Very accomodating hosts with great communication. We would love to visit again. Highly recommend

Fantastic spot to stay - lovely relaxing space and surroundings, close enough to town, while still a peaceful spot. We stayed with our 1 year old, and the space was perfect, with a completely enclosed deck for peace of mind with her scooting around. The hosts were super helpful, friendly and really responsive. We would definitely stay again!

The Coach House was the perfect base for my daughter and me while we explored Napier. Set in a peaceful location, it had everything we needed for a comfortable and easy stay. Although we didn’t get the chance to meet Katie in person, she was incredibly friendly and responsive through messaging. If we find ourselves back in Napier, we would definitely choose The Coach House again.

GPS is almost a must .... it sure made it easy to find each time. The first time arriving, we almost drove by but then, saw a small sign as well. The keys are on a chain on the railing inside a lockbox. I had to look around a bit to find it but not a problem. The place is smallish and comfortable. You have almost all the comforts of home including the kitchen and laundry (outside), grill and outdoor seating! The bed was nice with some closet space. The living room was comfortable with TV etc. The kitchen was a bit limited with only a couple burners for cooking. Smallish dishwasher. Smallish refrigerator. The bathroom is good. Yes, you have to go outside to a closet for the full washer and dryer .... really great when traveling. Being outside the city and in the country surrounded by quiet farms. We enjoyed having slow mornings with country fresh air before going out for the day. Evenings outside in the quiet sipping a wine was great. The grill heating up and watching the horses.

Jane’s place is a great spot to stay and enjoy Waipatiki. It is very well equipped and has everything you need for your stay. The beds are comfortable and there is a lot of space in the living area. It’s a short stroll to the beach and it also has a beautiful garden that gets all day sunshine. Recommended!

Stayed here for a friends wedding at St George’s restaurant and it was the perfect location 😊 beautiful surroundings and super clean and well set up inside.

We have stayed at Max's Place a number of times before and each time has been great! Belinda and Phil are lovely hosts, always welcoming but respecting your privacy at the same time. It's a great location and has all the amentities you need, including comfortable beds, a well equipped kitchen and lovely outside area. Great additional touches such as Nespresso machine and coffee, eggs provided, which were really appreciated. Highly recommended to all!

Kia Noho cottage is a beautiful place to stay set in idyllic and private surrounds. My wife loved watching the tuis frolic in the trees and listening to the native birdsong. The space was comfortable and cosy, sofas were great, and each room had its own en-suite which is awesome. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed and the large windows opening out into the garden made it really nice to relax and look out at the nature. It felt like we were in our own little secluded paradise. Johno was super helpful and even couriered our toothbrush charger to us when we left it there. We loved our stay and would definitely come back!

What a lovely place to stay. A beautiful cosy little cottage, a friendly doggo to play fetch with, and as much privacy as you like. Trust the instructions and you'll arrive at a peaceful haven to venture out from. We made it out home base for a week and it was perfect ❤️
