Beautiful townhouse, very roomy. Trent took very good care of us and made sure we received everything we needed in a very timely manner. I would recommend to anyone staying in the Houston area.

Super easy check in process, all the amenities and space was as described. Kitchen had all the things needed to cook meals at the house, and plenty of rooms and bedding for our 6 year old to try a different bed and bedroom every night! Easy access to the beach as well. Although not in Galveston proper, the ferry is both free and comes frequently and makes for a little fun adventure if excursions to Moody Gardens or other spots desired.

Tom was very quick to respond to my questions. He made sure we checked in. His place is a great location close to the beach, restaurants and Walmart which was a huge plus !!! I would stay again :) thanks Tom!

Perfect Getaway! My family and I booked this place on a whim for New Year’s Eve, and it exceeded our expectations. We had a fantastic time enjoying great food and the beach. Donna was incredibly helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. The place was comfortable for my parents, husband, and two little ones, and it was perfect for all of us. Although the complex was under construction at the front entrance and larger pool area, there was a heated pool was available though, that we throughly enjoyed. I would absolutely rebook and highly recommend this place for your next stay!

We loved being on the 2nd floor and on the beach. Would be a great place to stay in the Spring or Summer.

I loved this home, everything I thought I needed was there. It was easy to get in, easy to find instructions. The house was beautiful online but way more beautiful in person. My host was amazing and very responsive and accommodating. This home made my birthday vacation way more wonderful.! I’m so appreciative.!

This is a great get away where you can walk right to the beach without any traffic.

Amazing stay for our family of 10 before we headed out on a cruise! Everything was great! Would definitely stay here again!! The patio area is the best part of the whole place. Loved it!

What an amazing experience! Tom's house is certainly one of a kind! The creativity and history displayed throughout the home made for a very entertaining stay!!! Had fun playing with the cool gadgets up until our departure time!!! Definitly recommend the 1847 Powhattan home for your next Galveston getaway!!

Wow! What an incredible place and an incredible host. We've stayed at over 30 Airbnbs and this is the only host that has gone this above and beyond - stocking the kitchen in anticipation of our Thanksgiving feast, a doggie basket with toys for our pups, a gorgeous pecan dessert and yummy pasta/sauce on the kitchen table, a zoom call to welcome us and to find out what else we needed (she ordered us more kitchen utensils & a fan from Target). The home feels like a home. Super clean, lots of character - high ceilings, lovely woodwork, lots of light, a sweet fully fenced in yard, and large comfy bedrooms. There are two bathrooms but everyone ends up using 1 upstairs as their main bathroom since it's the one with a shower - not an issue for us just FYI. The neighborhood is super walkable - so many gorgeous homes on every block. Easy to get to the Strand, beach and Broadway. Two thumbs way up for people with or without dogs! Simply amazing. Absolutely adorable tiny home! Peaceful, quiet, and private. The property is stunning and I loved falling asleep every night to the sounds of the fountain in the pond. Super comfy bed, thoughtful use of the small space, and equipped with modern perks, such as a mini split, wifi, and a smart TV. Host was very welcoming, friendly, and helpful upon check-in. Highly recommend!

I loved Desiree home it was perfect for my kids and i. we felt at home! Had a lil issue 1st night but Desiree responded fast and were very helpful with the situation Thanks I will book again when I come back 😁

We were coming in town for my grandfathers funeral. We found this home after we had issues with another host. This host was very kind and responsive. Great response time and always caring about our stay. Any questions were addressed immediately. Here are a few noticeable things about the house. 1. You never run out of hot water. We had 9 people staying there, and we were constantly running showers and washing dishes. 🙂 2. The beds were supers comfortable. Never underestimate the power of a good mattress in times of stress. 3. The closet space was fantastic. We had 5 suits and 3 dresses to hang among other things and we had room plus more. 4. Surprisingly good selection of pots, pans, and seasonings. (We are a New Orleans family. Every one of us checked the seasonings, lol.) 5. Living area is huge. It was great for all of us to congregate and play games and just talk. 6. All appliances were clean and well kept. The Spittler, Maurice, Martin Family. 😊😊😊

This place is GREAT! Everything you need and more. Location is perfect for walks to the beach and restaurants. Lots to do! House was perfect and comfy. Would definitely stay here again!

Mary's place was great. Loved the fun decor, great central location, everything you could want for an accommodation. We also contacted her about the crib, which we were informed was actually a pack and play, which would have been too small for our toddler. She then bought us an air mattress that we used during our stay which worked perfectly! HVAC was very comfortable, kitchen did exactly what we needed it to do. Good shower as well (there is no tub so just be aware of that if your kids only take baths). Only thing to note is that it is a downstairs apartment and the upstairs unit had kids running around at times, so if you're sensitive to that sort of thing keep that in mind, but otherwise we had a great stay.

Hunter is such a gracious and considerate host. When an issue arose he was so on it and proactive and communicative and got it all taken care of. It's a beautifully renovated old Arts and Crafts bungalow, and good for people traveling with dogs as well because the stylish decor is nonetheless tough and sturdy and the backyard has a great high fence. Well done!

I have spent 45 days in this lovely house. I really enjoyed it. I felt like home; every thing I need is there. Thank you Anne for this beautiful house. If I visit Houston again I will surely love to stay in this lovely house. Regards, Talal

Donna's home was so cute and cozy to stay in. It's situated in a quiet neighborhood and it was a great place for my partner and I to return and relax to during a busy trip to Houston. The bed at the airbnb may also have been the most comfortable one that I've ever slept on.

I booked this house last minute due to the original house I booked got canceled by the tropical storm. This house had great views from the patio. Also the beach is walking distance. The host was quick to respond. Upon time to check out I realized I lost my wedding ring upon messaging the host after checkout to let her know, her cleaners found it and she called me right away to let me know it was found. Thankfully I was able to go back to the house to get it. I will be booking this house again! Needless to say book the house it’s perfect for a family get away! Best experience I have had!

Gary and Carol’s place is very comfortable and ideal for my purposes. It’s clean and comfortable. I loved that there were no commercials on YouTube, and that even though the weather was cold, I could adjust the temperature. I plan on staying here again.

My stay at Cat’s apartment was fantastic! The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. It was peaceful and perfect for relaxing. My extended family of 6 had the pleasure of staying at Phillip’s house for a long weekend. We absolutely loved it! It suited our needs perfectly, was a great location, and we would love to return! We couldn’t have asked for anything better.
