It was a great stay and Vee was super responsive and accommodating to our requests. My family had a great time. Will definitely book again if available.

I wanted to celebrate my 60th birthday with a lovely water view and with my large family. We have the added consideration of my son-in-law, who has suffered a stroke and is seriously disabled. The house at Kemah was wonderfully perfect. The views over the bay are gorgeous - even on cloudy winter days. The home is spacious and we did not feel crowded. There is an elevator, which allowed my son-in-law be upstairs with us. The home owner provides plenty of things to do, including games and puzzles, ping pong, and fuze ball. Fishing on the lovely pier is another option. There is a prep table to fillet your catch and a refrigerator designated to store it, so the kitchen fridge stays fish-smell free. We stayed in for our meals, but the house is very close to the boardwalk and you can walk to restaurants and bars. 1 of 2 ovens is labeled out of service, and so is the fireplace. Also. the dishwasher doesn’t clean well. For us, these were not problems. We all hope to stay here again!

I cannot say enough about the place. It was absolutely perfect for our group. We had chosen the place because my daughter was getting married at a venue near by. I needed a place that could accommodate large family with young and old. Having the elevator was a must for my grandparents and great grandparents. Staying at a hotel would not have aloud us to have peace before nor rest after the big day. We even used the long porch and driveway to hold a quick rehearsal for all the bridesmaids/groomsmen the night before. We were able to have family dinners and more time together to make memories. Everything was as described. Check in was easy and someone had turned the porch lights on. We loved that huge covered porch! He did explain about the pier being lost in a storm but there was plenty of waterfront without it. I flew in from NC and my kids & grands spent Thanksgiving there. It was a great memory & a great place!

Wonderful stay. Would love to come back in the summer to enjoy all the amenities. Perfect for family reunions.

The place was perfect for our trip. Beds were comfortable and everything was clean. The only thing that wasn’t available was the soap, shampoo and conditioner that was mentioned in the listing. We just had to make a trip out to pick up some. Also, wash cloths would be nice. Would definitely stay here again!

Such a great location. peaceful gated access on the water. Caught plenty of crab and fish. Ton of room to roam, and so much seating anywhere you want. Location is in great proximity to both Galveston Island and Houston. Construction on the highway made travel more difficult, but that's Texas, right?

This house was exactly what we were looking for. Great amenities, not just cheap stuff that looks nice in photos. The views are better in person than they are in the photos. Would definitely love to stay again!

Nice appartement in energy corridor, perfect for a short or longer visit for job or just to visit Houston.

Nice place nice people clean and felt like home

me and my fiancée went for a trip and had an amazing time the sailboats were so awesome to watch the water was nice and the weather felt great the bed was great and the bathroom was spotless this place was very cared for felt like a home away from i had an amazing stay.

I love this home away from home. I stayed for 6 weeks and it was wonderful. Paul is very respectful and doesn't bother you at home. He had a small puzzle collections, which I loved! I also added a few to his collections. I would highly recommend his place he has everything you need and more. Very quiet and private.
