Great location and very spacious house. Stayed here with 2 kids and 3 adults.. and had more than enough room for all of us. Has lots of different room and places for kids to play. Quiet and beds were very comfortable. Tyler was a great host very communicative.

Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! It was a perfect home away from home while we visited our family near by. We loved and appreciated the displays of Christianity and spirituality throughout the home. We were especially impressed with the well appointed and generous kitchen. The sunroom was a great bonus and the outdoor deck space was charming. We felt the neighborhood was safe and easy to navigate and close to stores, restaurants and medical help if needed. Suggestions to make this a truly top notch property would be updating the towels and wash cloths (they are a bit dated, dingy and warn) and splurging a bit to provide two ply toilet paper instead of single :) All in all we would highly recommend this property and would return again.

This property was better than advertised. Great place to stay while visiting the DC metro area, peaceful and quiet neighborhood and very close to the national harbor where there are loads of things to do. My family and I enjoyed staying at this property and will gladly come back for more stays in future. The owner is very responsive and was helpful to all our needs.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Liberty House. This charming home was the perfect setting for our winter break visit with family in the area. We greatly appreciated the warm, cozy, and welcoming atmosphere. The festive Christmas tree and the inviting fireplace added an extra layer of holiday cheer. The gas lamps and candles in the windows added a nostalgic charm to the experience. Every room in the house felt thoughtfully designed, offering delightful details that made the stay even more special. The kitchen was fantastic, allowing us to enjoy several meals at the table. We also appreciated the ample closet space and thoughtful touches like plenty of hangers in the bedroom. The Liberty House is in an ideal location. Being able to walk to King Street, with its great cafés, shops, and restaurants, was a real treat. Thank you, Noelle and Cameron, for creating this beautiful home and sharing it with us!

Harrison is a great host. He was very accommodating with helping me find a parking spot for my suburban. Harrison is very friendly. He answered all my questions and went above and beyond to make our experience great. Harrison and Nancy brought board games down for us to enjoy while we relaxed after walking around the city all day. The private enclosed space is nice for dogs and I bet is a great place to hang out in the spring and summer. Unfortunately, it was chilly when we were there so we weren’t able to fully enjoy the space. I highly recommend this beautiful convenient place.

I loved my stay at Natascha’s place. It was adorable, easily walkable, clean, and comfortable. Natascha communicated well, and I had everything I needed for my short trip to Georgetown!

Really enjoyed staying at this airbnb, excellent location close to the Metro, restaurants, and Capitol Hill. The space was exactly as described, and the bed linens really made sleeping here very comfortable. The fireplace really made the experience that much better. Mark was very responsive and helpful, quickly communicating and providing assistance when needed. Would definitely recommend this listing for those looking to stay in the DC area!

Trish is a SUPER host. She was so accommodating and helpful to us during our stay. She went above and beyond expectations and we had the sincere pleasure of meeting her and her beautiful English Spaniels on several occasions. She made local recommendations and had the place set up with breakfast for us, which was invaluable due to an arrival near midnight and an early morning appointment. She offered us all sorts of information and advice and we felt like fast friends within a very short time. One of the nicest hosts we have yet to encounter. A great stay all around!

What a delightful gem! The robe on the bathroom door and a bottle of Fiji water in the fridge plus the cozy atmosphere made me feel welcome and right at home. When I am in town, I hope to stay here again.

Hospitality was amazing. Rob went above and beyond to make sure we had everything that we needed. Great location, easy to access public transportation. we felt very safe. Highly recommend.

It was comfortable and beautiful. The Johnson’s made me feel at home and safe. They provided all kinds of homely things, coffee, microwave, tea, trash bags and extra towels, soaps, lotions, pots and pans. This was truly like being at home. They talked to me like a friend not a customer. I would advise others to try this new way to stay in a hotel.

Abigail’s place was perfect for my family of four including two teens. The location was great and she was very communicative. It’s no secret that DC can be rainy. We had three umbrellas and planned to purchase a fourth if needed but Abigail had two umbrellas for use. There was a stocked Kurig for coffee before heading out each day and the bathroom was complete with essentials including body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. Abigail’s place was perfectly quaint and exceeded our expectations. We would definitely stay again!

Carolyn and I had a lovely stay in this wonderful safe neighborhood in the Capital Hill District that is very close to the Capital and many nice restaurants/stores.

Aman and Krista’s home is well appointed, immaculately clean and excellent location. Communication pre-arrival was courteous, timely and very informative. Check-in was a breeze. When we needed an extra item for the kitchen, Aman delivered it pre-arrival along with space heaters for our extra comfort due to very cold outdoor temperatures that week. Location of the home is extra convenient if you are touring DC area. Most days it was a 10-15 minute ride into DC and many restaurants and grocers located around for your convenience. The yard is very spacious with a nice sunroom on the back of the house. Very cozy space with an extra table for family meals. We have added this home to our “must return” list and hope to enjoy next time we are in DC.

My partner, two dogs and I had a wonderful stay here. First and foremost, the home was on a quiet, beautiful street, and the home itself was lovely and as described. Plenty of nooks and crannies to curl up with a book, do some work, or just ponder. It is a easily drivable to the metro and to plenty of things in and around Bethesda to do. Second, Kate was a great host. Very accommodating, incredibly nice, and always responsive. Two key points for travelers: 1. We are dog owners and travel frequently with our dogs. If you are too, we particularly recommend Kate as she was accommodating of our dogs (even let us know of the treat stash), which is very important. 2. Relatedly, if you are not a dog person, you should still stay here because there was absolutely no evidence that any dog had ever stayed there (not that we would mind, but we understand others may). No dog fur, not dog stains, no dog smell. The place was pristine. So don't let the positive review dogs, concern you. A+++
