This was our third year vacationing on the coast but our first year in this area. We had a wonderful stay. The open floor plan and abundance of windows make this a great space with all the comforts of home including a great tv and an electric fireplace , a nice touch adding to the ambiance. The kitchen is one of the best we’ve seen, very well appointed and extremely clean. The path to the beach is well kept and a nice walk and the beach itself was fantastic. We highly recommend this property. We’ll definitely be back.

This was our second trip to The Rocky Whale in the last six months. We love it here. For us, the location is incredible. We spend as much time on the beach possible and being able to cross the street to the dune path and be at the ocean in less than 5 minutes is incredible. Low-tide tide pools? Check. Entire groups of seals? Check. Eagles? Check. Milky Way on a clear night? Also check! We are grateful for the ability to bring our dogs and the big open space downstairs to be able to house their crates. The bed/bath/kitchen has always been clean and comfortable and when the storms come through being able to hang out in the big living space upstairs and keep ourselves entertained (tv… storm… games.. etc) has come in handy. The kitchen is well appointed. We eat in when we stay here and there is nothing we haven’t been able to handle (sometimes a little improvisation is needed!) We were never able to find the tv remote on our second trip… but there is an app for that.

Highly recommend staying at Sam's cottage for your next visit to Rockaway Beach. The cottage is exactly as described, in a great location, quiet and is very clean and up-to-date. Sam is a great host, attentive and communicative and provides clear instructions and recommendations. Be sure to check out the Big Cedar! We hope to be back again to stay at Sam's next time in Rockaway.

My family and I had a wonderful Spring Break at Ying’s place. The deck and view are amazing, and the location cannot be beat. It’s steps to the beach and is also close enough to town to walk to restaurants and ice cream shops within a few minutes. The kitchen had everything we needed, the home was very clean, and the beds were super comfortable. It’s clear that Ying has thought of everything to make her guests feel right at home. I would highly recommend this rental!

Carol was an amazing host, very responsive and offered early check-in! The home was super comfy and housed our 8 woman book club well. Really loved the quiet, the hot tub, and the short walk onto the beach. Would definitely stay again!!

Terri’s beach house was across the highway from the beach. It was very easy to walk to a beautiful beach location. There were shops and other amenities within walking distance. The house was very clean and well appointed. We were able to cook Thanksgiving dinner using all necessary and available cooking equipment! The house has a lot of stairs, so it was a little challenging for my elderly parents. The bonus room was great for my kids who are both in college, but be aware that this room is in the back of the garage and not close to a bathroom. The primary bedroom was beautiful!

The house was absolutely lovely! Clean and had everything we needed. The street traffic is a little noisy throughout the night and there isn’t an ocean view. But it is only a few minutes walk to the beach and you can still hear the waves from the house. The host is also fantastic! She made sure everything went smoothly for us. Thank you!

I had a great stay at James’ place in Rockaway Beach! The location was perfect—close to the beach and in a quiet, relaxing area. The space itself was cozy, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. When we first arrived, there were a few small cleanliness issues, but James was extremely responsive and had them taken care of right away, which we really appreciated. It’s clear he cares about his guests having a good experience. Other than that, everything was smooth, and we had a wonderful time. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to others looking for a nice getaway!

Just the weekend getaway we needed!!

This is a great place, I’ve stayed twice. Love the onsite parking, hot tub on the balcony, kitchen with everything needed. It’s very close walk to the beach, about a block away. Activity room only has a pool table and TV, would be cool to see another pool table or shuffle board added.

The room was spacious and very clean. Hotel is in excellent location for walking around seaside. Pool was awesome and the resort offered a lot of amenities. We did get a different room than pictured so if you’re hoping for a specific view keep that in mind. But overall it was a great place to stay.

Great walkable location, you will hear noise from the pool and street depending on your location. This is located in a timeshare property so expect to be asked to attend a presentation - we declined and weren’t bothered further. Rooms are nice, but tight for 8 people. There were bags of laundry and sheets piled in the room when we checked in, called the Front Desk and they sent someone to remove them quickly. Appreciate unit being stocked with pool towels. There was body wash, shampoo and conditioner on the tubs/shower. Had a great stay.

We enjoyed our stay in Lincoln City. The condo has everything we needed to cook and enjoy ourselves during our stay. Everything down to extra batteries for the TV remotes. My kids loved the pool and I liked the sauna. I also found a glass float on the beach right outside of the back door so that made it even more enjoyable. We would happily stay here again.

We had such a wonderful stay! The condo was so cute, relaxing, well equipped and clean. The ocean view was great! Being able to open the balcony door and listen to the ocean as we relaxed on the couch was perfect! The kitchen had everything we needed and the bed was so comfortable! Check in and out was so easy. Close to great restaurants. We definitely would recommend staying here!

The condo is lovely and spotless. Getting to it from the parking garage is also easy. We loved the condo but didn’t love the sales pitch for their timeshare at the concierge during check-in. Also the pool and hot tub was super busy and not appealing. We enjoy more private places usually so this may be your thing if you are into cruise ship type of vacations.

The location is as good as you can think ! Most beautiful views of the beach and sunset. The long windows make it a lovely place. The house is well stocked with beach chairs, toys also available. The hot tub is also well placed to watch sunsets. Only thing I would wish would be to have the plants trimmed a little so the whole beach is also viewable from hot tub. It was not a problem but would make it even better. Loved it !

We had a wonderful time, the beach access is unmatched, endless entertainment for the kids. Compared to most airbnb’s, very clean, comfortable beds, and also appreciated the amenities. Host was nice enough to accommodate check in time too. Would definitely stay again in the future, highly recommend!

My friends and I visited from Portland for the weekend, and we had a wonderful time at Max's place! The location is fantastic - easy to find and a quick two minute walk to the beach - and the house itself is charming and cozy. The fireplace was a hit, especially in the chilly evenings or after taking a dip in the freezing ocean. It warmed up the top level and we were comfortable the whole time. Check in was easy, there was plenty of space for our party of four, and we loved it. I absolutely recommend staying at Max's place!

If you are looking for a place to stay along the Oregon Coast- this is it! Breathtaking view of Oceanside Beach and located such that you are short drives from all the Tillamook area has to offer-scenic drives, the Three Capes, fantastic hiking, and don't miss Tunnel Beach (at low tide) one mile away! Beds were comfy, super clean and a well stocked kitchen (extra points for that!) Make sure you read Chrystie's description about the hike to the beach-it is a hike- but we loved it! Grateful for a great weekend with friends at Captains Quarters.

Dee is an excellent host and was very responsive; excellent location w/ fantastic views; the house presented as promised and we thoroughly enjoyed our 3-night stay for my wife’s 60th birthday. The kids loved the garage play room and everyone loved the spa on the deck overlooking the ocean.

Everything was wonderful and the easy walk to the beach was exactly what we wanted! The Airbnb was cozy and had everything we needed! The reclining couch and the bed were extremely cozy and it was so nice of them to have dog friendly amenities!

We loved this house. We had a great time, even on the rainy days.
