Amazing Stay at Fahim’s Place! I recently stayed at Fahim’s place in Colombo, and it was a fantastic experience. The property was exactly as described – clean, comfortable, and equipped with all the amenities needed for a hassle-free stay. The location was ideal, providing easy access to local attractions, restaurants, and transportation. Fahim was an outstanding host, always responsive and ready to assist. I highly recommend Fahim’s place to anyone visiting Colombo and would definitely stay here again on my next trip!

Tolle Wohnung , toller Gastgeber und gute Lage. Wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt und unsere ganze Müdigkeit war nach dem langen Flug verschwunden, als wir auf dem Roof top waren. Die Unterkunft ist extrem sauber, der Ausblick fantastisch. Savon hat uns freundlich begrüßt und schnell reagiert.

My wife and I had an absolutely wonderful stay. From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The property was exactly as described in the listing (if not better!) and spotlessly clean. The location of the property perfectly located for whatever needed to do. It is about 50 meters from the main road, so you don't hear the noise from the main road. It was incredibly convenient and made exploring a breeze. The nivanka/nadee were incredibly responsive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure I had a comfortable stay. They provided clear instructions for check-in and check-out. There was a full time care taker at the property and the Shanika - property manager was very helpful. Whatever questions were resolved over a text message I truly felt at home during my stay, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting the area, and I would love to stay here again the next time. Thank you, for such a memorable stay!

I had a wonderful experience staying with the hosts Dr Nadara and Ira at Dehiwala, in Sri Lanka. They provided a spacious apartment with all the necessary amenities, including a large bedroom, en-suite bathroom, and a separate fully equipped kitchen. The cleanliness was maintained weekly by a cleaner with Ira and fresh linen and towels were provided. In time to time the hosts offered me delicious homemade food, making me feel like I am staying with my relatives. Narada and Ira were very friendly and they are extra super hosts. The location was very convenient, close to the beach and various food outlets. Overall, it was a comfortable and welcoming stay, making I want to return to this accommodation whenever I visit Sri Lanka. The location of Narada’s and Ira’s apartment is quite convenient for exploring Colombo. It is situated between Gall Road and Marine Drive, which are major thoroughfares in Colombo. Being close to Colombo City makes it an ideal base for exploring.

Ces premières nuits au Sri Lanka passées chez Mallika ont été incroyables d’apprentissage et d’informations. Mallika est une merveilleuse personne, attentive mais discrète. Pas besoin de chercher un restaurant, elle est aussi une formidable cuisinière. Quant à son fils Randeer, il pourra vous conduire où vous voulez et venir vous chercher à l’arrivée à l’aéroport même en pleine nuit. Bon massage dans la rue, la plage à 200 mètres. Nous reviendrons, c’est certain 🙏🏼😍

Lovely property in the suburbs of Colombo! Perfect for a small group of friends and family of 4-5 people. Extremely spacious rooms with well thought out furniture and fittings and to top it all off a large patio to unwind and chill.

Unser Heim in Colombo! Das Apartment ist sehr sauber und modern. Ein Highlight ist die Dachterrasse. Jo spricht, was in Sri Lanka nicht die Regel ist, ausgezeichnet Englisch. Sie und ihre Familie haben sich sehr um uns und unsere Anliegen gekümmert. Die Aufnahme war sehr familiär und herzlich. Ihr Angebot, dass wir uns bei etwaigen problematischen Situationen während unseres Sri Lanka Aufhalst telefonisch an sie um Hilfe wenden können, ist uns eine sehr gute Beruhigung. Gastfreundschaft wird hier groß geschrieben! Das Haus ist günstig gelegen, Restaurants, Supermarkt und Busstation in Laufnähe. Mit den Bussen ist man direkt sehr schnell in der Innenstadt und am Bahnhof. Wir vergeben vollen Herzens 5 Sterne plus 5 Extrasterne für die Gastfreundchaft.

I was very happy with my stay at Osho's place. Exceptionally clean, functional and good quality furniture. One of the very few places in SL where the kitchen is spacious and well resourced, specially cooking pots were new and of great quality. Everything was top notch.... Congratulations to this family for putting so much care and attention. Location is perfect close to beach and to shops and transport. Ranjit, their father lives downstairs and was available by phone and personally when needed. For a solo female traveler very very safe indeed. I highly recommend Osho's place....you will be delighted and surprised on how welcoming this place feels As I need to return to Colombo I have already booked my second stay

Upul’s beautiful property is the perfect location to unwind after a long flight. It’s close to the airport so we were sitting round the pool within a couple of hours landing. The lovely housekeeper Saja deserves a special mention as she was so helpful and kind and nothing was too much trouble. Saja cooked a delicious curry for us on our first night and on our second and final night we went just next door to the newly opened Crab Cove Restaurant which is highly recommended. Upul’s communication throughout was outstanding and he always responded to my many queries before and after we travelled sometimes within seconds! The property itself is stunning backing onto a lagoon and we took a boat trip out to Monkey Island which was very enjoyable especially as we were collected and dropped off at the bottom of the garden. It was the perfect place to get over our sleepless flight - a beautiful and peaceful location to start our Sri Lankan adventure. Thank you Upul, Saja and Gaya for everything!

This is a beautiful spacious property in a fabulous location with a sea view to die for. We were a little concerned as not many reviews, but this is often let as 2 homes together. Alexander was swift to respond and communicate this to us. Sam was always responsive and Dinesh was always on hand to look after us. The dogs are very friendly and absolutely no trouble at all. We already love this area in Sri Lanka, and loved it even more staying here.

Superbe maison sur la plage, très belle décoration, on s’endort avec le bruit des vagues. Une chambre fraîche en bas accessible par l’extérieur, une en haut avec AC et une autre rafraîchie par les alizés avec vue sur l’océan et les bateaux de pêcheurs le matin. La douche extérieure est géniale, les lits sont confortables, les terrasses agréables, à quelques mètres de l’eau et des petites bassines pour se faire arroser. Pour une vraie baignade il suffit de marcher un petit kilomètre sur la gauche juste en face du cimetière. Coin tranquille et propre conseillé par Nimanthi. C’est elle qui vous accueille avec toute sa famille. Ils sont tous super sympathiques et toujours prêts à rendre service. Les repas faits maison et petits déjeuners sont délicieux, vous pouvez même demander un thé et des biscuits dans l’après-midi au bord de la piscine. Les chiens et chat sont marrants et il y a deux paons qui se promènent dans le jardin et sur la plage. Séjour extra pour terminer les vacances.

We had a very enjoyable stay in Colombo. The hosts communicated very well from the initial contact we had with them. They were professional in their services, flexible, the apartment was also very clean and the linen was good quality.

The place was really cool. It had everything at a walkable distance. We had flexible early check in, which most of the Airbnb really don't do, but the host Shiffon he was kind enough to come by himself and guide us to the house.

The apartment was nice and cosy. Had lovely views of the city and the sea. Located in a safe area with security at the ground level. Lots of amenities within walking distance or a short tuk ride away. Ahmed and Shaira are also sweet and very responsive hosts. They personally came to check us in and out. They even have a little guide with recommendations for tourists. No regrets staying in Alfred Fern. Definitely will go back again on our next trip to Colombo!

A Perfect Stay with Stunning Views! I recently had the pleasure of staying at this lovely Airbnb, and I can't recommend it enough! The beautiful view of the Indian Ocean truly made our stay unforgettable. The location is fantastic, just a stone's throw away from the beach, allowing us to immerse ourselves in the stunning scenery. Our only regret was not being able to enjoy the rooftop pool due to our busy schedule, but it just gives us another reason to return! The property felt very safe, which was a big plus for us. Vasanty and Joseph were incredible hosts—they were very accommodating and went above and beyond to assist us with our special needs. Their hospitality made our experience even more enjoyable. If we find ourselves in the area again on our next trip to Sri Lanka, we would absolutely stay here again! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Pushpa’s apartments are set inside a lovely gated garden next to their home, the place is very calm and tranquil. A great place to stay for the first or last few days of your trip if you are flying in/out of Colombo Bandaranaike airport. The apartment is really pretty with views of the green garden. Close to some nice restaurants and bars, and of course Negombo beach. Pushpa is friendly and welcoming.

We had a lovely stay here. The place was very clean and comfortable, had lots of facilities. The view is also beautiful. There isn’t much to do within walking distance, however we booked here to relax and prepare for our flight quite close to the airport. Dr M was very responsive and an overall great host. I can definitely recommend this place.

The location of property is absolutely amazing. Easily accessible to supermarkets, restaurants, clothing stores, etc. The apartment I stayed in was fully furnished with all amenities including all kitchenware, towels and toiletries. The space is cooled very well with the bedroom and living space each having its own AC unit. The caretaker greeted kindly and guided me to the room, which had it's Air Conditioning turned on before I even entered. Didn't have to walk in to a warm damp room! He even took care of my laundry. Overall my experience staying here was amazing. The hosts son who manages the property is very welcoming and communicated well throughout my stay. Definitely a hidden gem in Colombo.

Blue Ocean Residency is situated in a central places to many. Beach is 2 min walk and it is ideal for morning walks to start your day. Many eating places can be found along the beach and 5 min walk to the main road. Hot showers are brilliant to fresh yourself before the bed. All the kitchen appliances are in good condition and they make your day easier. All the beds are very comfortable, too. The caretaker is very helpful as well as Seevali. The 24/7 security is very helpful even when you come in the middle night. And they make you feel secured. I will book this place again when I go back, without any hesitation.
