I love the place and the nature vibes. Its giving. Perfect for travelers who likes to have a me time with nature. The location is superb as it is near restaurants. This listing also offers food. Its always a plus if the place offers home made food. Neil and Maam Tess are very welcoming. Neil 100% responsive. Maam Tess hotel Point of Contact/Care Taker, very welcoming. The place is very reasonable for its offers price.

Really nice place and really lovely staff, would stay again

We really enjoyed our stay at Cranes Cottages. The room was really lovely for a long stay. The fridge and outdoor kitchen was useful. We enjoyed the pool and the gym, and it was easy to get a trike to the beach or pangasama area. There were 3 restaurants in walking distance which was great. The friendly host and staff were helpful and cleaned our room upon request, and gave us free items here and there - like fresh fruit - which were really appreciated. Thanks so much!

I had a wonderful stay at Emil’s place. This is a very friendly place where you feel welcome. The room was super clean and comfy and the beach was so private. You can swim right from there and see turtles. The breakfast and diner offer were great. I highly recommend !

The host was very accommodating and I’m thankful for the free snacks that they provided. It’s really worth the price and the place was a vintage vibe which was really great. The host let us shoot our photoshoot there and I’m grateful for that, the host was very friendly and the place was overall up to my expectations. There was a power outage the next day and although there was no backup generator, the stay was still great.

Stayed for 4 weeks here. My go to place to whenever I am visiting the city. As always, homey and comfy. :)

rustic little inn located on the outskirts of the city proper, but fairly convenient in terms of commute since there are always jeeps that pass by going to the city. we got the room with 2 single beds and it was by the highway so it got a bit noisy by morning. walls are also thin, but understandable considering the price. toiletries provided are a bit lacking, so better to bring own. but overall a great budget stay!

Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms. Our room was very comfortable. Rico was nice and always ready to offer any assistance needed. Our room was double booked due to system glitches but Rico was kind enough to let us stay in a bigger air conditioned room, with no extra charges. There's a basic kitchen outside the room which is a plus. The hotel is convenient to restaurants and stores that sells souvenirs. The place is beside the cemetery but it didn't feel scary nor did we feel anything out of the ordinary. The other side is facing the San Juan Boulevard which offers majestic view of the sunset - also visible from the common balcony of Rico's place. His attention to detail/backup light and fan in case of brown-outs is also commendable. Oh, and try the Thai restaurant just below the rooms. It's super delish! Would stay again in Rico's place.

Excellent place where to stay in Dumaguete. Extremely clean, quiet, close to city centre. They own a very good restaurant downstairs. Highly recommend!

Very welcoming, approachable, kind and helpful staff. Will definitely book again. Food is very good too (must try- lechon kawali). With laundry service next to it and very near to the baywalk, very accessible, room is very good with AC working very well.
