This was a perfect two night getaway with our family. The house is very clean. The views are beautiful. There are lots of things to do in the area not far from the house. We enjoyed taking the short path to the brewery for a couple of meals. The food is great! We sat by the fire and soaked in the hot tub. Martha’s instructions were very easy to follow to check in and checkout. She was very responsive. We appreciate that she also offered plenty of suggestions for things to do in the area. We had the absolute best time staying here. We had two families staying together, 10 total. With more than enough space! The location was perfect. The space was clean and cozy. We had the best time and made some amazing memories with our friends. Also we slept at night on the third floor with a window opened and it was so quiet outside! Thank you for opening your home to us!

Chris's house looked exactly like photos. The area is beautiful with lots of hiking trails and breweries and wineries nearby. The location felt very safe. Everything was exceptionally clean and the house was well stocked with everything we needed. Highly recommend.

A Perfect Stay – Comfortable, Charming, and Convenient! We had a wonderful stay at Bevin’s Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home thanks to Bevin's warm hospitality and thoughtful touches throughout the space. The beds were incredibly comfortable, making it easy to relax and get a great night's sleep after a day of exploring. One highlight was definitely the hot tub—such a perfect way to unwind! The decor is vibrant, colorful, and so tasteful. The whole place felt cozy and inviting, yet stylish. It truly enhanced the overall experience and made the space feel like a home away from home. Bevin is an exceptional host. She was incredibly responsive, always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed; her kindness made the experience even more special. The location is perfect— close to downtown Charlottesville and the nearby wineries! making it an ideal base for anyone looking to enjoy both the local culture and the beautiful countryside. We found the cream of the crop of Charlottesville Airbnbs right here! The house is awesome! So spacious with lots of light, beautiful flooring, comfortable furniture and the best beds for a good night’s sleep, it was perfect for our family group of sisters.We loved the modern kitchen which is so well stocked and equipped! The huge shower in the master bedroom was a real hit! All enjoyed the hot water, fluffy towels and luxurious bedding and of course the pristine cleanliness of the entire house. It was a lot of fun to barbecue and enjoy the outdoor ambiance too! Rachel was immediately responsive to my texts and questions. She treated us with true kindness and Southern hospitality! With this great host, great house and superb location in Charlottesville, I truly lucked out and picked a winner that provided the settting for memories for a lifetime!! Thank you, Rachel! My family had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful house. It was a perfect fit for us. There was plenty of room for everyone and we had a great time playing cards in the evening and watching movies. My 4 and 2 year old grandsons looked forward to going to bed at night so they could take a bath in the jacuzzi tub. The house had everything you could possibly want. The hot tub was a hit with my grown children. We look forward to returning in the future.

Our family of four needed a quiet get away, and we enjoyed the beautiful days and evenings, inside and on the deck! Hikes nearby, spa nearby, restaurants, grocery, gas also nearby. Great resort year round! Lots of activities if you want them, and lots of peaceful nature if you want. Great!

House and location were great. It felt rural, but close to campus/parks/shopping. Everything was clean and as advertised. Wonderful accommodations!

We had an amazing time at the Rowan! The house is gorgeous with tons of amenities and more than enough room for our family of 5 to spread out. The kids especially loved the game room and the hot tub. My husband and I enjoyed looking at the Mountain View’s from the massive windows in almost every room 😊 There are plenty of nearby hikes (be prepared for a steep, rocky climb) and the Rt 151 micro brew trail is right at the bottom of the mountain. The hosts, Joe and Jess, were super responsive and left extremely helpful instructions for just about everything. I highly recommend anyone looking for a relaxing mountain adventure to check out the Rowan!

We have become regular visitors to Roudy’s Retreat; it’s something we look forward to when planning vacation time every year. The cabin is miles above what we could ask for, and our Jaclyn is always so helpful leading up to and during our stay. The house is very spacious and offers so many amenities—including a fire pit and hot tub and plenty of toys and games to keep our kids busy. We can relax on the deck with our coffee and enjoy the peaceful mountain mornings. And it’s located within an hour at most to a number of great attractions, like Crabtree Falls (only 15 minutes), a fishing pond, Natural Bridge and Lexington. My family and I highly recommend giving this place and try, and we look forward to returning again!

The view was incredible, every morning seeing the sunset over the mountains was breathtaking. The stay was great, the local market was awesome, the overlooks were so beautiful. The host was fantastic and extremely responsive. I would like to recommend that if you want an amazing experience in the mountains I advise you to make a trip and see this amazing property. You will absolutely fall in love with it as we did.

The Co-host Amy was very proactive, responded quickly and helped to make sure we had a great stay! The house is super nice, the bedrooms were huge, besides the bunk room- it is a tiny space. We had 13 adults but still made it work! Due to the bears and laws, there is no outside trash cans but the dumpster was just up the road. The house had everything we needed from cleaning supplies, to coffee bar. I loved that there was a gas station, market and a few food options inside of the neighborhood/resort. I would recommend this house for a large group getaway! We didn’t have the weather we expected but the views were amazing. Thanks Chris and Amy!

We had an amazing time staying at this “cabin in the woods”. It was almost hard to leave to visit the area… thank you for sharing this home. Everything was clean and ready for our arrival. The hosts were prompt and very friendly.

Great place in Wintergreen! We stayed in Spring and everything was quiet and the foliage was vibrant. Our family went hiking and exploring everyday, and enjoyed the food and drink down in the valley. There is a nice trail in Wintergreen if you can find the overlook off Old Appalachian trail. Hot tub was a plus for sure! Enjoyed the trails in the neighborhood and watching the golfers. All the amenities you could ask for and a clean tidy home!
