This is an immaculate apartment with spacious rooms, by the bank of a river with sporting facilities. The host is welcoming and very helpful. Restaurants and the Addo park nearby. Strongly recomended..

The apartment was wonderful ! Away from busy area, it offers peace and privacy while still being close enough to everything you need. Parking space inside the residence The apartment itself was well-maintained, clean, and had all the modern comforts anyone would expect. Comfortable bed, equipped kitchen, I enjoyed having meals on the terrace. There is a lovely pool area—perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The host was incredibly friendly and always available if any questions, and ensuring I had everything I needed. If you're looking for a true getaway with a cozy, welcoming atmosphere, this is the perfect spot. I had an amazing stay and would absolutely come back!

The view is to die for the place is wonderful and the sliding door made the summer wind feel delightful! They were very attentive and even sent a cleaning person each week no charge. My only issue is i did not know when they were coming so i didn't always have a tip for the cleaning ladies and I feel really bad about that and would like to know next time. and there will be a next time if possible. this is my go to place while in Gqeberha! I recommend this place without reservation!!!

It was a pretty good user experience, as this was my first time using Airbnb app & booked on the day upon arriving in PE with my family. Very attentive and friendly host. Quick message response. The home had everything you needed, it was cosy & very welcoming. It was amazing to be in walking distance of the beach. It was clean with fresh towels even though we brought our own with. The only low score I would give is shops like looking for a woolworths is quite a stretch to drive but otherwise basic convienant stores were in the area where we were staying. There were alot of rules and we tried our best to stick to them consistently. Our host even booked a cleaning lady for us, even though Im OCD and cleaned. This was such a kind gesture. We would definately love to book this home again in the future.

The house and location was great, my family enjoyed the stay. Just note the place is a bit remote, having a car will come in handy.

Simply lovely stay, right on the beach. Peaceful and quiet surroundings, so we were really able to relax. We felt safe and secure. Lovely to sit on the deck, seeing the sun go down over the sea. It is a pity we could only stay 2 nights, we are planning to come back for a longer stay. Highly recommended!

Graeme was so friendly and helpful. The house was spotless!!Lots of parking,perfect size pool,great entertainment area,comfortable couches,beautiful bathroom and all the rooms have aircons!!!!The ice machine and fridge in the braai room made pouring drinks so simple... We had the most incredible stay at The River House! The house is perfectly situated right on the river, offering peaceful views and a real sense of tranquility. The space was spotless, tastefully decorated, and had everything we needed (and more). Seeing the White Fronted Bee Eater catching bee’s in the front section of the house was a massive highlight for my 8 year old son who is a huge birder. Sunset drinks on the deck were very special and relaxing which is what we were looking for. The pool was a big hit with the kids – so much fun. The location is fantastic—close enough to Addo Elephant Park for day trips. We saw so much wildlife nearby, and even just sitting on the deck felt like a mini safari. Highly, highly recommend this place if you're looking for a peaceful retreat with a touch of luxury and lots of heart. Thank you Lisa and family for sharing your special spot with us.

Our stay at this Airbnb was excellent. The property was very spacious with modern decor, making it a pleasant place to relax. Located in a secure complex, it was also very easy to access everything we wanted to see around Port Elizabeth. The host was friendly, easy to reach, and very hospitable, ensuring we had everything we needed. The accommodation had all the modern amenities, which made our stay even more comfortable.

This was our second stay with Charmaine and her husband who are such friendly and welcoming hosts. Charmaine always kept us updated about the load shedding schedule which was so helpful and really goes that extra mile Check in was also flexible. The apartment was spotless with loads of space and everything that we needed to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Lovely views and been able to sit out on the veranda and enjoy our morning coffee was amazing. Highly recommend staying here. We will definitely be back again .

Peaceful, accessable neat and so much more exactly what I needed for my week stay. It was comfortable and the view was the best going to miss seeing the sunrise and sunsets. Highly recommend booking. Friendly and responsive host. The place is exactly what you see in the pictures. Upon check in, the place was clean and tidy and all amenities were on point. I had a great stay and definitely value for money deal.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The highlight for us was the pool and the breathtaking ocean view—it was the perfect setting to unwind. The accommodation was incredibly spacious, and we especially loved spending time on the balcony, soaking in the views. We also miss our morning strolls to Indigo coffee shop, conveniently located just a short walk away. This place is a true gem, and we can’t wait to return!
