Our best winter (Christmas trip) yet! My family & I have been spending Christmas week in Tahoe for years and this home is the first property that we want to come back to again! It is a mixture of the listing is a home and has all the comforts of an actual home. The location is amazing for skiing, dinning, shopping and still being walkable to "backcountry" trails. Lel is an amazing host and her heart to serve is what makes staying there that much better. She really took care of us for some of our winter adventures! As an Airbnb host myself, Lel's place (including her as a host) is the full package!

We had a great time; they were respectful, responsive, and flexible. The house is well-equipped, and the hut tub was terrific. We definitely will reserve there again!!

The cottage was amazing and the hot tub chefs kiss!!! Super clean, and the instructions were very helpful and informative. Loved the entire space and the ample parking area. It literally feels like you’ve checked out of the entire world!

I just don’t know where to start. This is a great house where I don’t wanna share with other people… haha. Commutation with Lisa - friendly and quick response - excellent. House - super clean, organized and privacy. Price - reasonable and worth. No complain. Definitely we will be back . Thank you , Zen Cottage:)

Perfect place for a ski week! Sarah was very responsive and attentive, and the cabin was private and well-maintained. Could not have asked for a better location.

In most things, getting the details right, is difficult. Sarah knocked it out of the park. This place is so thoughtfully put together. From the well appointed kitchen, to the great bedding, and the clear instructions, this place was so welcoming and comfortable. The location is very private and peaceful. We enjoyed using this place as a base to do daily excursions to some great snowy places for snowshoeing. We said, multiple times this weekend to each other, “I love this place and we should come back here soon!”.

Sharon’s place is comfortable and clean—perfect for relaxing after a day of skiing. As a host, Sharon is amenable and communicative. We absolutely loved staying here!

Excellent all around - as advertised, well located, and well priced.

We had an incredible stay at Creektown Cottages. We stayed at Sugar Pine Cottage. The location was perfect for strolling into Grass Valley’s downtown. The cottage was clean and the beds were comfortable. Definitely a bit of noise early in the morning from the Post Office behind the cottages, so light sleepers or folks wanting to sleep in may be challenged. Overall, a great experience. We look forward to our next stay at Creektown Cottages.

This place was much bigger than we needed but it allowed pets and that was our main criteria so we could have a long weekend as a family. That said, the place was amazing!! Exactly as pictured and no surprises. Everything was clean but more importantly, everything was comfortable....the upstairs bed had me asleep in minutes. With so many places to sleep, we talked about inviting extended family back some time to skiing at Palisades and staying here... it would be PERFECT! Neighbors are also so very friendly and awesome. Caterina was checking in to make sure we were okay and very responsive to me. Money well spent for a much needed get away to the mountains!

We had an amazing 3-day weekend getaway with our two dogs. We love how dog-friendly the place was (every cabin has a secured, fenced-in area in the back so we didn't have to leash our dogs when we took them out for a quick potty break). Lore left detailed instructions, local restaurant and hiking recommendations, and was extremely responsive on email. Not only was the cabin in pristine condition and super adorable, it was the perfect location to walk to downtown historic Grass Valley and very close to neighboring Nevada City and all the local hiking trails. We especially loved the flexibility with early check-in. 10/10 would recommend!

We love staying here. The house is comfortable and well equipped. There's good food and the lake/beach within walking distance. The hosts are responsive, helpful, and friendly.

This is a great home base to stay and do winter activities with kids. There's a beachside park in walking distance, along with plenty of food options and a bus stop that takes you all around Tahoe including to Northstar. My toddler loved the backyard in the snow. All the appliances worked, the heater kept the whole house evenly heated, everything was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

We had an absolutely phenomenal experience staying in this property. The location is unmatched. The character of the home is incredible and the host is so kind. We highly recommend!

The house was super cute! Very nicely decorated, very clean. The flowers and vines and trees around the property were beautiful and smelled so good. The bidet was also a nice surprise! It was also just a short 5 minute walk from the center of town. The internet *was* a little slow (10mbps), but that's the only negative aspect of our stay. Highly recommend. Would love to stay here again.

The cows were so welcoming! They were there when we arrived. They loved the cow cookies that Nicholas provided to be given to them. We are a family of three, my husband and myself and our lab Rose. We enjoyed our stay at Nicholas and Rebecca’s home. The property is beautiful and the home is just as pictured. The artwork around the home is lovely. The surroundings peaceful. We had a nice stay. Nicholas made some great recommendations for dining and places to hike with our dog. He’s a good communicator. Thank you!

Denise and Jim were very kind. You can tell they designed the space with comfort in mind. Everything felt like great quality. The place is cozy with a beautiful view. This is our favorite air bnb and we have stayed at dozens.

Clean, cozy cottage, free of clutter, and very comfortable! This is our second time staying in the cottage and we hope to come back again. Hiking trails right out the front door. Five minute walk to downtown Nevada City with many restaurants, brewery, shops, etc. This has it all. Betsy is a helpful and gracious host. We highly recommend!
