We went to Broad chalk for an evening away to do some long distance running around the countryside. The village is wonderful and the walks and runs in the surrounding area are challenging with spectacular landscape and really good trails. The village had a brilliant pub and community shop and coffee shop/cafe. Our stay was very enjoyable and the room was exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated. The kitchen had a really good amenities and the bed was extremely comfortable, and the bathroom had a lovely hot shower after a long run! Beautiful garden.

Had a lovely two nights at the Apple Barn. Jocelyn was so friendly and helpful, and the location was brilliant, very central to Bruton. We had everything we could need and really appreciated the little touches like being left some home made cookies, bread and milk. Thanks so much Jocelyn for a wonderful stay

Absolutely brilliant place. Nicola was a fantastic host. Breakfast was a lovely touch and very appreciated. Would highly recommend to anyone ! And the hot tub was a brilliant facility to have :) Would 100% stay again !!!

Spent a lovely weekend at Rebekah's place in Christchurch. The property was as described, extremely comfy bed and DIY breakfast was laid on. Slightly quirky with the loo and shower being in an adjacent building, but it worked for us. You need to be mindful of the weather though (cold or wet). Rebekah was very communicative and accommodating, check-in and out was a breeze. Great host and lovely little dogs. ~10 min stroll into the centre of town. Had a fab Turkish at Meram Kitchen, looked expensive but you get a massive free (bread and dips) starter for two with your mains. All together a great experience. Thanks Rebekah and see you again soon !

Perfect location if looking for somewhere to stay in The New Forest. Great surrounding walks and only a short distance from the local Town where you can find plenty of shops, pubs and cafés. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a lively relaxing stay away, an absolute gem.

Comfortable, cosy and conveniently located cottage for exploring the South Wight. Good parking and hosts are very generously offering dogs to use their large garden. Kitchen is very well equipped so cooking proper meals is very easy to do. Can definitely recommend and would return. Hosts accommodating, friendly and very welcoming. Note for dog owners- the cottage is carpeted, being plenty of towels and throws as dogs can easily get wet, sandy and muddy around the South Wight.

Back again. My home away from home when visiting Shalford. The cottage is charming and so serene and quiet. Amanda and Ben and the dogs are all so welcoming.

We wanted a few days away from it all to walk and cycle and there are so many great trails to choose from the Surrey hills are fantastic. The airbnb was great , everything we needed, we cooked a few meals and enjoyed chilling out there after long walks. The decor and cotton bedding were all lovely. A great place to stay. The only consideration is the bed is a tad small for a man over 6ft. it was comfy for us but only just, my husband is 6ft.

Lovely stay and very cozy given the weather wasn’t great. Had everything we needed. Good bus service up the road to the pub.

The Potting Shed suited us well. It’s location is up a country lane, not too far from the main road. There are many places of interest within driving distance, though watch out for some of the lanes. The house is comfortable and warm. There are enough facilities for a short stay. Tamzin is very responsive and answers all questions immediately.

A beautiful barn in a beautiful spot completely tucked away. Linda and Mike are brilliant hosts, nothing was too much trouble. Just perfect in every respect. Can’t recommend highly enough. We will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay, the lodge was extremely clean and well equipped, with everything we needed. Vikki and Steve were very helpful and accommodating. The hot-tub was one of the best we have ever used. A bonus was watching the three little fluffy bunnies run around in there garden. Located well with shops and takeaways near by. Can’t wait to come back again soon

The den was warm and cozy with everything we needed. It is a great location for visiting Salisbury and Stonehenge, or just relaxing indoors. We enjoyed using the fireplace and watching the ducks outside.

Jane and her husband were kind, and extremely gracious during my stay. The apartment is a clean, calm, self contained studio with a beautiful porch deck - set up well for daily living. Additionally, Jane provided absolutely everything for tea and coffee. It was generous and appreciated.

Absolutely fantastic weekend, weather was fantastic, beautiful place to stay , loved the view, pool, hot tub and little Charlie ..just a perfect weekend.. We Will be back , Thankyou for letting us share your beautiful home ..

Great communication, Andrew responded immediately and was very friendly and accommodating. Directions were very clear and we found The Duck House easily in day light. Andrew met us on arrival offering assistant at anytime throughout our stay. Walking into the accommodation we knew we had chosen well, what a great little find. Everything was very clean and organised and finished to a very high standard and with all that we needed and more. The welcome pack was a very nice touch and meant I didn't need to pack anything from home (apart from conditioner) There is a main chain Superstore 8 minute drive away which houses a coffee shop and pharmacy and it was a 25minute drive to Redbridge Park and Ride to visit wonderful Oxford. We would definitely stay again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to family and friends. Thank you so much Andrew & Hilary.

Margaret was a great host, very responsive and good communication. We enjoyed our stay at Margaret's place which was well equipped, and is in a convenient location for getting into Clifton and also the centre of Bristol. Thank you Margaret!

Spent a lovely few days here, lovely hosts. Very cosy getaway, clean well equipped and great water pressure/heating. Couldnt ask for anything more. Great for walks to the Tor and Chalice well and an easy walk to town. Will be back again.

Had a wonderful couple of days at Pony Cottage, very clean, well stocked for tea, coffee, milk and biscuits! Virginia I felt had covered every aspect to make sure it’s a comfortable stay. Beautiful garden, 5 mins into the village, which has lovely coffee shops and restaurants, everything you need. Bonus also of having beautiful walks on your door step. I look forward to returning!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Deborah’s place. It was airy yet warm and cozy with a pretty view of the garden from the living area. It was a 5 minute walk to High Street making it very convenient to all the shops and restaurants. In addition all of the sites such as the Tor, Chalice Well and the Abbey were also very walkable. For such close proximity to everything we still felt outside of all the noise and business of the town center. The place was very quiet and peaceful. We would definitely recommend staying with Deb and Tim. If we are ever in Glastonbury again this place would be our first choice.

Lovely place with everything you need and the biggest shower head I’ve ever seen. Perfect 👍
