Great stay, really fabulous location right on the high street but lovely and quiet.

Great little place and a fantastic host

We stayed at Ed’s place for two nights over the weekend and it was everything we needed and more. Set in an idyllic peaceful location, we had a huge field to ourselves which was extremely quiet where we heard nothing but birds and nature during our stay. The dog loved it! We asked for the hot tub to be lit for arrival which was a perfect end to the afternoon of travel. We stopped off at Waitrose on the way to stock up for the weekend and on the Saturday drove 30mins to bath which had beautiful restaurants and pubs. The cabin was fully equipped with everything needed, the robes were a great touch. The bed was extremely comfortable, keep windows closed to keep spiders out! Thank you to Edward and Carleen for a lovely and relaxing stay.

We had a lovely weekend. such a gorgeous private spot and a private well fenced field for our dog to play. Straight out onto the New Forest for walks. So well catered and we had everything we could have needed! Fab communication and directions. I just need a horse to bring with me now!

We used the home as a base to visit family over the Christmas period. It was a very comfortable place to stay. We were able to easily prepare our meal on Christmas Day as the kitchen is well equipped. A very peaceful place to stay and a short walk to the beach on the edge of Poole Harbour. We would definitely recommend a stay here and would certainly book this home again.

We had a brilliant time! If anything, the pictures don’t quite do it justice! We had really good instructions on how to access the property and it was all ready for us to use! The jacuzzi was amazing with beautiful views with the sheep as company! The hut was spotless and felt so lovely and cosy with everything you need for a short stay! There is an identical hut 15 metres away but the way it’s all laid out you wouldn’t know they were there when looking out at the view! Definitely recommend!!! Thank you Jeremy and Casey!

The cabin is the perfect spot for a break from the daily routine. Not a sound apart from the birds and the wind in the trees. The wood burner was much appreciated.

Lovely little place! I arrived fairly late, the lights was turned on so it made it very easy to get in. Had a cup of hot chocolate on the porch while I turned the heater on inside to warm up the place before going to bed. Very peaceful and all-around great stay!

We had a fabulous stay. The house was cosy and modern. Everything was there as described. Comfy bed. Will be back.

We were warmly welcomed by Sarah upon arrival, with the lovely extra touch of some Prosecco and Florentines which went down very nicely after travelling to the stay The cabin was ideal for a couple of nights switching off from it all, very peaceful surroundings and all that you could need in the way of facilities We enjoyed a firepit on both evenings, and were lucky with clear skies which allowed some fantastic star spotting Being able to meet and feed the deer and Muntjac was a lovely extra touch!! We would definitely recommended Woodpecker Cabin!!

We had a lovely weekend at Paul and Tracy’s place! The location is ideal in a quiet neighbourhood, it’s about 10 mins drive away from the dog friendly beach and the dogs really enjoyed it. The place is spotless and cozy, and the hot tub is amazing. Thank you for the lovely stay!

We love staying at Hut on the Heath. Private with a beautiful view in wonderful nature surroundings. Waking up to roaming deer, breakfast outside and cosy fire evenings after a days full of walking, seaside tripping and castle exploring. We’d love to visit again soon.

Mandy and Martins shepherds hut was amazing it is hand built and even have a brochure showing you the renovation works which was great, the views are amazing and the place has everything you could ask for Mandy and Martin were great hosts recommend this place highly. Really good location, 5 minute walk down to the beach. Nice private space which makes it easy when travelling with a dog. It is on a busy road which you can hear, but this didn’t bother us. Would recommend and visit again.

Loved this accommodation and owner from start to finish. I think accommodation is even better than it looks in the pictures. Lovely small touch of delicious biscuits and fresh milk waiting. Quality handwash and even a hairdryer and make up mirror to borrow. Loads of space for hanging clothes. Thoroughly recommend.

Had an amazing 3 nights at Jo's The Hut! It was peaceful and quiet. We were even surprise how cozy and warm it was inside. It has all the necessary amenities to make the stay comfortable and worry-free. We had bonfire every night, and also had some bbq while having the view of the night sky, stars and moon. And in the morning, nothing beats a peaceful and tranquil view with the sound of birds, ponies feeding nearby and the chickens. Just amazing! Thank you Jo for the experience!

Bluebell is wonderful. We used it as a baby moon for two nights with the plan to just chill and watch some films. It rained most of the weekend almost forcing us to stay indoors and enjoy the cosy setting that bluebell creates. Make the most of the outdoor shower it’s a really lovely touch! Jane’s instructions and welcome were spot on. And the added bonus of Maddy the spaniel nudging your door to come and say hello really is the icing on the cake! Thank you Bluebell, Jane and Maddy

I've done a few cabin/ hot tub type holiday breaks now and this was definitely a favourite. In particular, the cabin was nice and spacious, the surroundings absolutely stunning especially on the early morning frosty walk with easy access to public footpaths. I also loved the way the cabin was done out, very tasteful and well thought out. The hottub was also a great perk (first time using a wood fired one). We had planned to spend a day out in Bath but decided we had everything we needed at the cabin and spent the weekend there instead. Also a big selection of DVDs and books which was a nice touch. Thanks for having us at your beautiful place 😊

The hit was very tranquil. It was a great place to reside and chill in nature. The welcome hamper was lovely. We woke up to the sound of a pheasant and a deer in the garden. It was very peaceful and a welcomed break.

Before our trip I had asked the host if they could provide us with a box of chocolates for my partner and I for our anniversary and when going to pay they demanded that it was a treat on them. This is just a small act of kindness that we received whilst here at this stay. They were very responsive, and helped us with some recommendations about the local area and things to do. I really appreciated their warming welcome and this made the trip really enjoyable. The place is absolutely spotless and comes fully equipped with all sorts of utilities such as kitchen equipment that allowed us to cook multiple meals, an indoor fire to keep warm during autumn, and a large outdoor area to sit outside and take in the fresh local country side air. The whole place had been crafted by hand from the host and you can really appreciate the attention to detail. It’s very cosy and felt like home. We really recommend this stay and we genuinely couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you. Tyler snd Emily

What a beautiful get away for resetting from the busy London living life. Staying on the farm was incredible, I had the best time, it was the perfect get away for the weekend. The hot tub made it 10x better with stargazing at the evening sky. Such a beautiful hidden gem!

Lovely 2 night stay! plenty to do locally. Easy commute to Bristol or Bath, we did both. Peaceful at night and in the morning. We didn't try the outdoor shower, wish we had. The hut is perfect and would recommend this place to anyone.

Abi's place was lush!! It was a surprise getaway for my partner. Such a cute Shepherds hut, it was peaceful and so comfy! We slept so well! The shower was nice and hot, and the outside bath was such an added bonus, my partner loved it! We loved the underfloor heating also! Abi's instructions were really clear on how to get to the hut and she was always responsive to any questions! Abi even offered to put banners and balloons up which was a nice little touch for my partners birthday!! I would highly recommend this shepards hut and we would love to come back and see it in the summer!! 5 stars all round! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
