The room was pristine, clean and we really got a kick out of the wood burning stove (which we used exclusively for the heat). Caitlin and her husband, Peter, are caring, considerate hosts. They made me feel welcome in their beautifully appointed, light-filled home. They were open and friendly, interested in finding out who I was, while being respectful of my privacy. When I explained I didn't like to eat first thing in the morning, they went out of their way to prepare a yummy, healthy "to-go" breakfast I could take with me to the program I was attending. Caitlin even loaned me her favorite travel coffee mug for my tea. I was able to spend my final morning having breakfast with them and they prepared a delightful meal, replete with fresh fruits and flowers from their garden. We sat outside amongst the beautiful plantings and each shared with me a precious piece of their own life story as well as how they met. That's how I discovered what wonderful people they are. I would return there in a heartbeat. Staying at the Sanctuary provided a welcome contrast from the intensity of the program I was attending.

We had a wonderful stay in a charming 1700s-era home, filled with historical features that made it warm and inviting. Our host, David, was exceptionally gracious, meeting us late in the evening and accommodating our request for breakfast to go, including options for my wife's lactose intolerance. I highly recommend David's inn.

If you’re looking for quiet. This is the place! The nature, the building, all of it was excellent. I felt safe as a solo female traveller to stay here. The accommodations are exactly as listed. The yoga studio is lovely and the whole place is very clean. I would for sure stay here again.

We arrived at Maple Hil on a very cold afternoon in NH -- we were met with cozy living spaces warmed by wood stoves, coffee and tea available all day, and our room equipped with electric blankets and a space heater. Dennis fed the fires for us and provided silverware and dishes for our snacks in the living area; he also lent us snow shoes for a trek across the lake. We slept well and were excited to wake up to the smell of breakfast cooking -- as many reviews have said, the breakfast was perfect! We were located close to several ski mountains, a town with shops and restaurants, and Dennis had advice for all of it. This was a wonderful, cozy, perfect stay and we will be back for sure!

A wonderful bed and breakfast with everything one would expect from a classic Vermont BnB! The hosts made me feel welcomed and right at home. I particularly enjoyed the bedroom with a quaint fireplace and a large shower. Several personal touches with a gift bags of hand warmers, tissue, a snack! A great touch. The breakfast which happened to be my favorite dish which is french toast, it was among the best I have ever had. Will be my go-to lodging anytime I am in the the area!

Norwich is a quaint small town, with a downtown of pretty much one street. If you are looking for peace and quiet to take in beautiful surroundings, then it is the town to be. The Partridge House is the perfect image of a New England B and B. Old house with old charms and the feeling of being in a home that wants you there. Ciaran is very friendly and makes a great breakfast.

My wife and I had to travel from Washington for a Memorial service for my Dad after he passed away. We had owned and run a B&B in Tacoma, Washington for almost 11 years and we love staying at B&Bs. We loved and thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Dean & Wendy at His & Hers B&B. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area. The hosts were kind, knowledgeable of the area and very welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable. The food was excellent. Thank you Dean & Wendy.

The Barn was a cozy space for the night. It was chilly, but we had tons of blankets and electric blankets. Evelyn was extremely accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was amazing and the views were unbeatable! We enjoyed the company from Maxxie and Tsunami and the chickens! Excellent all around!

I felt right at home with Evelyn and her family. I can’t wait to stay with them again.

Although our stay with Evelyn was short, it very much met our expectations. She was very communicative, and the room we stayed in actually had a nicer bed than I had expected. If you are looking for a Vermont Bed and Breakfast with actual fresh, local breakfast, this place is great for you.

We had a wonderful stay. The place is serene and so beautiful. Bjorn and Elaine are such a lovely couple, very accommodating and entertaining. The breakfast was perfect and coffee is amazing! Overall, I highly recommend this place.

This is a hidden gem 3 min from crotched mountain. The property is beautiful and everything is very well run. Owners were super friendly and made us feel right at home. The room was spacious and clean and we enjoyed hanging out in the common areas. Dinner was a 10/10 and the service was great too. Definitely coming back in the summer.

This was my first Airbnb experience. From the very beginning, John and Kathy were excellent hosts. They come across as just genuine and likeable people - it really feels like you’re staying with friends. Not to mention, they are SO kind in opening up their entire (gorgeous) home and property to you. They make it clear that while you’re there you have free range to explore the grounds or utilize the fun on-site things such as the fire pit and relaxing common areas. The breakfast served each morning was so thoughtful and delicious; my husband and I really felt like we were being spoiled!! Speaking of spoiled, idk how I’ll ever be able to have a better Airbnb experience than John and Kathy provided as they really set the bar high. Looking forward to booking our next visit here for sure.

This is an idyllic setting for a beautiful home with super friendly and caring hosts. The large house, a retreat center with facilities for large groups, sits on a lake overlooked by a gorgeous modern treehouse. Tom and Ravi are excellent hosts and I enjoyed chatting and eating with them and learning about their vision for the property, communal and artistic, with nourishing food fresh from local farms, and a mix of interesting guests. This is the kind of place where you can truly unwind in natural green, wander the extensive grounds and connect socially if that suits you. The beds are comfortable, each room with its own bathroom, and the living rooms are spacious and with walls of books and artwork. Cannot recommend this place more highly. If you’re lucky enough to find availability, don’t hesitate!

Bjorn and Elaine are wonderful hosts of a beautiful, historic site. The house itself is rich with lovely historic details including wide plank floors that one would never see, old glass, incredible wood beams, and more. Bjorn and Elaine could not have been more welcoming and kind. My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return should we find ourselves at the beautiful lake in the future. Highly recommended. You won't be disappointed!

Great stay in the barn at Wise Pines! Chelsea gave super clear instructions and the welcome guide was very helpful! We had a private room which was cozy (especially with the provided space heater) and clean. We appreciated the white noise machine since our room was right next to the shared bathrooms and kitchenette. Overall great place to stay and I'd love to come back and stay for longer!

The hosts were so nice! We weren’t there a whole lot because we had wedding things to do, but they were so welcoming and kind. Had a whole set up for breakfast, coffee, waters, etc and it was only my guest and I there. It made you feel really special. They gave us our space. We’re very attentive hosts. They offered for us to use the bonfires outside too! The history of the place was really cool. Each room downstairs had a working fireplace blazing and I wish I had time to sit down and cozy up with a book. They also gave us recommendations for trails near them and shopping suggestions. There wasn’t any Ubers in the area and the hosts actually gave us a recommendation for a car service, which came in clutch. First time staying in a bed and breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. I will definitely be booking again at 6 Chimneys.

Windy and Dean were awesome hosts. It is such a blessing for them to share their little slice of heaven with others. The home, location, beautiful landscaping and delicious breakfast makes for a wonderful experience.
