Abbie’s place in Twain Harte is amazing. We are a family of 4 with 2 kids 5 and under and we stayed with another family of 4 with kids the same age. It was perfect for 2 families. There was a huge living room we could all hang out. It was a rainy weekend but the place was warm when we walked in. The kids LOVED the bunk room - they could even watch TV in their beds while the adults enjoyed cards and some wine downstairs. We ventured to Black Oak Casino for bowling - they had a kids zone with babysitting for $15/per hour which was an awesome unexpected surprise. The house was so cute and spacious. The kids even braved the hot tub in the rain. We will definitely be back. Thank you, Abbie!

Could not recommend this cabin enough if you are looking for a quiet and cozy getaway close to Dodge Ridge! The place is super quaint, very well maintained, has everything you need and the hosts are superb, i.e. very responsive and very helpful. We stayed as a family of four (two young kids under 6) and were all very happy and very comfortable, would definitely love to come back!

Elizabeth was a great communicator. She provided clear instructions and even warned us of the snow storm that was coming. The cabin is super cute! The beds were incredibly comfortable with nice linens. We enjoyed sitting in the hot tub as snow fell all around us. The drive to Bear Valley ski resort is about 25 minutes and such a great place to ski. We loved that we got snow during our visit! The cabin is beautifully decorated. Our family frequents this area 3-4 times per year and have stayed at many places. This is one of our favorites and we hope to add it to our winter rotation when we visit.

We stayed in Ben’s place for three nights in February so we can explore the snow with our dog. Arnold is a bit dormant this time of the year (we usually come in the summer). It’s a quiet place. It was clean and comfortable. It’s not new or modern but everything worked. We used the fire place one night it was night and also the Jacuzzi. The kitchen has the basics you need, and the bathroom too. A lot of towels and they are soft. Beds are comfortable. It’s very dark at night so getting in and out the first time was a bit challenging (we arrived at 10pm), we used a flashlight. The backyard is huge. It would be really nice in the spring. The price was fair and the internet was fast and reliable.

We had an excellent stay at Matt and Alejandra’s place. Our family loved the game room and hot tub. It was nice having the downstairs game room/family room with pull-out couches plus an upstairs family room with pull-out couch off the kitchen. Adults and children could separate or be together. Kitchen was fully stocked. Owner’s were very responsive. Check in/out was simple. Drove to Yosemite Village in February, took a little over an hour. 1 hour 20 minutes to Dodge Ridge for snowboarding. Little Mexican Restaurant in Groveland was so good! Picked up food to go for a large party, fast service, good salsa. Great stay overall, everyone in our family agrees we want to go back.

Our stay at Tobey’s Modern Double A-Frame Cabin was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning design, peaceful surroundings, and thoughtful touches throughout the home. The cabin was spotless, well-equipped, and incredibly cozy—perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway. The huge windows let in so much natural light and offered beautiful views of the surrounding trees, making it feel like we were truly immersed in nature. The outdoor deck was perfect for enjoying coffee in the morning and stargazing at night. Inside, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the beds were super comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. Tobey was a fantastic host—responsive, friendly, and clearly dedicated to making sure guests have a great experience. You can tell a lot of thought has gone into making this place special. If you’re looking for a peaceful, stylish, and well-appointed retreat, this is the place! We’ll definitely be back. Thanks again, Tobey!

We had a great stay at Woodhaven! The cottage is very cozy but was spacious for our family of 4. We loved the hot tub on cold evenings, as well as making a fire in the fireplace. It was conveniently located, close to the market and easy to get to. Will and the caretakers were very responsive!

8 of us (4 adults and 4 kids) stayed at The Wild Trout Cabin and we all loved it! The home looked much better in person than the pictures. Beautifully decorated with all the amenities you would ever need on a 4 night stay. The home was peaceful and had a beautiful backdrop of the trees from the great room. All of the beds and pillows were very comfortable and the home was very warm and inviting. Hot tub and game room was a huge bonus. We all loved our stay and the memories we made at The Wild Trout Cabin!!

Our stay was fantastic! The home was spacious with the 3 levels, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was perfect for preparing family meals (great pantry), and the cozy living spaces made it easy to relax. Big sofa and TV downstairs to enjoy family movie nights. The location was super convenient just 15 min from Dodge Ridge and very peaceful and private. The hosts were very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and we would definitely return!

Scott was a fantastic host! We loved our time at his Airbnb—the home had a charming cabin vibe with a nature-themed decor featuring trees and bears throughout. The rooms were beautifully arranged, and the house provided everything we needed for ourselves and our dogs!

This cozy cabin was a wonderful retreat that made us feel right at home! It had all the comforts of home and was very peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly and Elisha was a warm and welcoming host!

We had a lovely time. The cabin was lovely and secluded. I feel like we got a great deal for the price and the host, Corina was kind and helpful. I recommend!

We loved staying at Valine's cabin. For starters, it was super clean and smelled great (not always the case for dog-friendly rentals). The cabin is exactly as depicted in the photos. Very cozy and comfortable, and we found everything we needed very easily. I asked Valine a question about the heaters and she responded immediately, with all the information I needed. The location is beautiful and the neighborhood very quiet. It was easy to access and park. Overall a 10 out of 10. We hope to come back soon!

we had a wonderful time at Sheryl's idyllic cabin. the kitchen is super well stocked for folks who enjoy cooking, plus it was a lovely walk to the grocery store! the wood burning stove kept the place so warm and cozy. and Arnold is so close to lots of entertainment. it was the perfect place to bring in the new year!

This is a darling cabin!!! The host was super responsive and kind. The cabin was extremely clean, with great quality beds and towels. We loved the fireplace and it’s in such a pretty area. Close to skiing and they have a nearby general store. Easy check in and check out. Our family loved it!!

My family and I appreciated the place for our Thanksgiving getaway. It had everything we needed in the kitchen. Although the electric stove wasn't working at the time, the host was quick to respond and try to help. It was in a beautiful, secluded location, and was very homey. Wish we stayed for more nights!

We had such a great long weekend at Julie's cabin! We were a group of 3 couples each with a baby, plus 2 dogs, so we were a little worried we'd feel cramped, but the space worked well for us. The downstairs bedroom was a bit tight with a pack n play, but it worked. The bigger upstairs bedroom has an open window to the living room, which we worried might be a problem with a baby in there, but it wasn't an issue (we used white noise anyway). The cabin is beautiful and the photos really don't do it justice. Those windows! We had one beautiful sunny day and then it snowed 9" overnight and it was so special waking up to a winter wonderland view through those windows. The cabin had everything we needed. We loved playing with our three 1 year olds in the snow right out front! The view of the river is also stunning and provides a beautiful backdrop for the back deck. Julie was also flexible with our checkout, which was a lifesaver with 3 babies.

Raman’s place was perfect for our needs. We will definitely book again.

Sudha’s place was great! Spacious, airy and very welcoming. You had to climb up a flight of steps to get to the house - The kids loved it, the adults not so much 😀. And, there was a luggage elevator to help.

Our family of 5 had a great stay! This cabin is closer than staying in Arnold, to Bear Valley. We drove up to the resort 2 days in a row, and came back and enjoyed the cabin. Lori was particularly responsive with anything that came up and questions we had. I especially loved the easy to switch on and off fireplace, and the plastic plates/cups for the kids. Thanks again! We will be back!

We spent a wonderful long weekend at Mark’s cabin. It’s very clearly a family home and not just a cookie cutter Airbnb (and I mean that in the best way). It was very comfortable for our family of 3 (+1 dog) and the kitchen had everything we needed. Mark was an attentive and communicative host who answered all of our questions quickly. The back deck looks out onto tall trees and the mountains and it was so quiet and peaceful. We will definitely return next year!
