Frank's place was a fantastic spot to explore Cheung Chau. We found it to be beautifully decorated, fitted with everything you could need, and hidden in the most peaceful area. The beach farther down Peak Road West was a great swimming spot and we really enjoyed the bbq outside. Worth the hike for sure!

The place is a bit difficult to find especially when it is dark(a long gravel path and somewhere no street lamps), the village is very rural. The equipment is enough with the large garden with roof and a high pressure hose because I brought a bicycle there; you must need to burn mosquito coils doing something outside. Faye was not there during my stay so I could use the whole floor myself. When the check-in, her mother introduced me to the house and her brother helped me sometimes. And her replies were very fast and helpful!

This beautiful home exceeded our expectations. Jean-Pierre and Dora are extremely proactive in making us feel welcome and were super helpful with whatever we needed. Their helper Charie is the warmest person you could ever ask for to greet you after a long journey. She is both available and discrete. The pictures on the listing do not do the house and the view justice. Highly recommended!

Amazing, relaxing and healing place would recomend to everyone to get away from the city

lovely house and kind host who is responsive to questions and assistance. the house is in a very good location, only a short walk to Pui O Beach and restaurants, taxi stand and bus stop only a minutes walk away. the house has plenty of room and facilities which is a nice surprise (a very welcomed feel) compared to accommodation in the central of HK! would definitely stay again if visiting the area :)

This is a great house in a quiet village environment, surround by peaceful nature nearby including the beach, ocean, mountains and tranquil walking trails. Jen is a wonderful host who is very responsive and helpful. The house has spacious common areas on each floor, including a large kitchen, pool table, swimming pool, big couch, bar and rooftop terrace with great view. Each bedroom has comfortable beds with clean linen and useful furniture. The host Jen has proactively provided helpful local info including markets, restaurants, things to do and transport. She also refreshed several aspects of the house to make our family gathering enjoyable one. Going the extra mile, she offered her Helper who kindly helped us address multiple needs when moving in. In summary, this great house has wonderful location, adequate space for large gathering (we had 10 people), comprehensive amenities with recent updates, and a great host behind it that made our stay a fantastic memory. Thank you!

This was one of the best air bnb experiences I’ve had! Vincent was an incredibly friendly and accommodating host. He made us feel right at home and was available for any questions or concerns that we had. I would 100% stay at this air bnb again. The views from both the living room and the rooftop were incredible. Even though the weather was less than ideal, it was still breathtaking. There was a bit of a trek to get to the location, but that is pretty standard for the island. However, I made the mistake of having multiple luggages. So, it was a long journey up the mountain. Overall, I was incredibly sad to have left this location. I wholeheartedly recommend this air bnb and am so pleased with Vincent!

Quintessential HK walk up in a fun neighborhood with lots of shops, bars, restaurants, and boutique fitness studios nearby. Very clean with updated kitchen and bathroom. Small but functional space. Rooftop is lovely and overlooks basketball courts.

Tish’s place was perfect to spend the Christmas holidays at. very warm and cozy. just like the photos and easy communication.

Grace's place was exactly what we needed. It's in the North Point neighborhood with a train stop steps from the door which will take you all over Hong Kong. The A/C was nice and cold, the Wifi was fast, and the beds were very comfortable. The roof deck is really nice and a great place to relax privately after a long day walking around HK. She was great to communicate with and easy to get into/out of the apartment. It's on the top floor of the building which is great and the roof deck is right up on top and all yours. Thank you for being a great host!

Pierre's apartment was perfect for our one week stay in Hong Kong. Located in a part of town that has easy access to public transport as well as being in walking range of great restaurants, bars and many small shops, it formed the perfect base from which to explore. The apartment itself is set up very conveniently.

The location is perfect — nestled in a charming local neighborhood with easy access to transportation and close to the central parts of the city. The apartment itself is cozy with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The private rooftop was definitely the highlight — a great spot to relax, enjoy the fresh air, and even have a BBQ. While the building is older and a walk-up, I found it added to the authentic charm of staying in a traditional Hong Kong setting. The host was super helpful and accommodating, making the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique and convenient place to stay in Hong Kong!

Had a great time staying at Win’s apartment! The place was spotless, and the rooftop was great - perfect for relaxing. The location was convenient, close to lots of attractions and great food spots. The bed was really comfortable too. Would definitely stay here again!

Vincent and Laura’s house on Lamma Island is a peaceful, well-designed getaway just minutes from the ferry. The two spacious bedrooms and the comfortable living room, complete with books and games, make it easy to relax. The garden terrace is perfect for meals, especially at sunrise or sunset, with beautiful views over the town. Everything in the home is thoughtfully prepared. From automatic lighting to a well kitted kitchen and even a ready-to-use dog bed with a filled water bowl, the attention to detail is impressive. Unlike many rentals, nothing feels overlooked or out of place. The location is another highlight. A short 5-6 minute walk brings you to a quiet, secluded beach, perfect for walks at any time of day. It’s a favorite for dogs, too. This home has become my go-to recommendation for visiting friends and family who want a different side of Hong Kong. While part of me hesitates to share this gem, Vincent and Laura truly deserve recognition for their excellent hospitality

Great location just west of the Mid Levels escalator area and walkable to Central District. Nice neighborhood just off of Hollywood Road, the top floor flat is in one of the quieter areas around Central. Grocery stores and laundry services are all within a block’s radius.

Not much to say: absolutely great place and host.

While the location is about a 20-30 min walk to either beach, it is very easy to get to the closest bus stop. Be sure to download the Lantau Bus app for bus arrival times. There are some great hikes right from the flat that are amazing and not to be missed by outdoor enthusiasts. Be sure to get details from the hosts’ convenient orientation binder. The flat itself is great. Very clean with cozy furnishings and well supplied with everything you need for a home. Mobile service is almost non-existent in the village, but the WiFi covers most of the voids created by this. The WiFi has great coverage and speed making remote work very achievable. The hosts are very responsive, friendly and helpful. They make themselves available if needed and were a pleasure to stay with. If you are looking for an alternative to the dense urban environment of HK island, this is a great option for up to 4 or 5 people!

Very communicative host, clean and in my opinion large place (for Hong Kong). The transit options nearby are fantastic. Washer/dryer in unit is also really convenient, bed was comfortable, and the wifi is fast. Highly recommend!
