Our family was visiting from the States and Western Australia and the location was perfect. The place was very clean and exactly as described. We were very happy with our stay.

From the moment we stepped through the door, the property exceeded our expectations with the thoughtful inclusions and the well thought out facilities. There is so much space, that even with our large family, it never felt crowded. The children were safe, easily occupied, and content in the environment. The outdoor pizza oven and BBQ provided even more options for meals in the beautiful garden filled with roses and fuchsias! Because the property offered such a variety of activities and entertainment, we did not need to leave for the entire long weekend. We had the most incredible time. There really are no words that can adequately describe the experience. Thank you, Jason, for providing such a beautiful and well equipped space for us to enjoy. I'm sure we will be back!

Angela’s holiday home is exactly that a home away from home . The feeling of simple shack/ holiday life but with attention to every detail is evident from the opening of the door . As the classical music played the sense of relaxation begins …… The extensive open plan kitchen , living , dining extends out to wonderful outdoor living deck space with wonderful vista amongst the agapanthas and yachts bobbing in the bay below … The beach is right in front of the shack a few mins walk with crystal clear water from Fredrick Henry Bay. Guests have an enormous garden and bbq Patio area soaking with summer sun and the added company of a Terra Cotta Warrior standing amongst the foliage . Each bedroom has superb linens / soft pillows /incredibly comfortable beds & rugs and electric blankets for those cooler Southern coastal nights . The art work amongst the whole of the house brings a feel of nostalgia- great water pressure beautiful books. Highlight separate retreat games reading room 10/10

Being able to have my dogs with me rather than boarding them for 10 days was great. Homely place to stay, and was lovely and warm on arrival in mid winter, due to Esther’s thoughtfulness of having air con going for my early arrival. One of the best Airbnb in Hobart! Place was more better than expected, separate sides of the home for 2 bedrooms, private and great layout. Nice walk to supermarket and nail salon. Curb side parking so it was easy to grab Ubers. Comfy beds and high quality things around the home. Outside deck and umbrella was handy when the sun came out. Would love to stay here again!

We were here for my wife’s birthday weekend. Michelle was so kind to bring a cute cake to celebrate her. It was such a beautiful gesture. The house is so peaceful and beautiful. It is surrounded with private land so many trees and chickens. We enjoyed morning walk sunrise and sunset. Lots and lots of board games in the house to keep your little one occupied. Over all we had amazing time at Banksia cottage.

We loved staying at Chris’ place! The home is spacious and welcoming. The interior is well designed with warm spaces to relax and unwind. It’s also close to Sandy Bay road and supermarkets, so in a great location. Highly recommend!

Michelle’s place is spacious and clutter free. The beds were very comfortable, and the shower ran hot. The bath is deep and comfortable. There were pademelons in the garden. I enjoyed it very much. I tend to want to open windows but as it is an older house and the frames are older without mosquito mesh, we didn’t. The place met our needs for our stay. If we’d stayed longer we’d have enjoyed the pool table. Cheers

Good location if looking for out of the city. Easy drive in, less than 5 minutes to the city. Lovely restaurants by the water and cafes less than a minute walk. Easy parking and close to IGA

We really enjoyed our stay and it’s an easy still to the waterfront, and just around the corner from OGEE. Huge apartment which would be great for two couples or a family and felt completely luxurious for my sister and me. I left a shirt behind and they organise to send it back for a small fee.

We were so lucky to fine such a beautiful house that 3 double bedrooms that was within walking distance to Constitutional Dock. The house was beautifully presented. Bec was available to answer my silly questions.

Charming space with a lot of character. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the living spaces and couches were spacious and comfy, too! Kitchen and bathroom are lovely and functional. You can hear some traffic driving by if you sleep in the front room, but that dies down at night and there’s also a fan in the bedroom which can provide some white noise. We slept like babies. The washing machine is very quiet and super efficient. We visited at a time when the temperature outside was chilly, so we welcomed the space heater and fireplace to make it cozy in the mornings. We appreciated the local recommendations and also enjoyed discovering so many small businesses along Elizabeth and Murray Streets. The location is great for walking or driving anywhere around Hobart. Plan for a 15-20 minute walk down to the CBD/piers, and remember that it’s a bit hilly.

What an amazing find! the unit is a gem for solo traveler or a couple. The unit is in absolute condition. Clean? It's spotless! From the bathroom to the kitchen. I love the balcony were I was able to relax while having some nice cold glass of wine after a long day of walking around and exploring Hobart. Highly recomended to other travellers! I have save it on my favourite listing and will definitely be on my top list to book for future travel to Hobart be it work or holidays. Thank you so much Sally!

My only regret is staying just one night! What a comfortable, clean, modern space. The kitchen was beautiful and well stocked. The air conditioning worked very well in our very minor heat wave. Julian was clear with instructions on parking and accessing the building which I really appreciated. We will for sure be back.

Accomodation was perfect, clean, exactly as described and pictured. Apartment had everything required to make our stay memorable. Loved the private little outdoor courtyard area. This little AirBnB is right in the hustle and bustle of Kingston Beach with great local cafes/restaurants within walking distance. The apartment was clean and tidy and had an amazing view of the beach. 🏝️

3...2...1...RELAX. Oh, this place! We enjoyed a three-week stay while our home was being renovated. Let's start with the location. It's easy to find, quiet, peaceful, and literally five minutes from anywhere. Close to all amenities you need, although once you get there, you really won't want to leave. Don't waste your time with the supermarket; just get the necessities delivered so you can enjoy every second. Driving into the property takes you somewhere else. With beautiful gardens and a charming egg chair hanging in a tree, you just want to grab a book and stay there. The home is exactly as the photos present and more—beautifully presented, clean, and just a home. It invites you to enjoy your time. The surroundings really steal the show. There's an amazing pool overlooking the bay at the rear of the property. It's perfect for wandering and discovering all the different flowers and plants. Walk further out of the property to a beautiful walking track. Sit back, listen to the water,

Beautiful and cosy home perched on the hill with a superbe view of the bay and the Tasman bridge. We can watch the cruises coming in and out of the bay. Beds are comfy, bathroom is new and kitchen offers everything you need to cook a nice meal. Started our holidays in this house and decided to go back after a trip across the island because it felt just like home. Thanks for sharing your lovely house!
