Beautiful yurt high up in the hills. Easily one of the most beautiful and relaxing places I’ve ever slept. The facilities are very basic and the composte toilet is definitely something to consider but the beauty of surrounding areas is a great trade off for this. It can be very misty with no view but when there is a view it is simply heavenly.

We had a faultless stay - the yurt was so fun, very well decorated, well equipped with coffee, tea, farm fresh eggs, bread and jam. The bed and chairs were very comfortable and the kitchen was clean and well equipped also - nice and rustic! We love camping and this was super fun glamping. Don't expect a 5 star resort, it's a unique glamping experience - we've never seen anything like it and we loved it! We went on a llama trek one day (highly recommend - another unique experience!) and fed the animals on the farm the following day - a really great experience! They have other "wacky" accommodation too including a train carriage, teepee, gypsy truck and large old horse drawn wagon - so cool! Would definitely want to try out the wagon next time too... Kevin was friendly, welcoming and helpful! Genuinely loved this place. A highlight of our two weeks in NZ for sure!

We had a wonderful stay in our Yurt at Oasis Yurt lodge. It was so thoughtfully set up, everything there we needed, super clean, tidy & cosy, and an all round great experience. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay! The location was fantastic, and the yurt was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The heating kept us cozy, and the outdoor spaces were absolutely beautiful. The only small area for improvement would be the availability of basic cooking essentials like oil, salt, pepper, and additional pans. Otherwise, everything was perfect, and we truly enjoyed our time!

We had a wonderful stay here and couldn’t fault the hospitality. Ian went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time and we loved the uniqueness of the venue. The outdoor shower was a real treat and the views are outstanding. We loved the fresh bread and croissants for breakfast. Thanks you Ian for being so accomodating and providing us and our family with a truly unique experience.

Unser Aufenthalt in Ninas Jurte war wundervoll. Wir sind mit dem Blick durch die Kuppel im Dach auf den Sternenhimmel und den Rufen der Hirsche eingeschlafen. Die Jurte war genau wie auf den Fotos, sehr sauber und geräumig und das Bett war super bequem. Nina hatte tolle Tips für unsere Tour zum Milford Sound und zu Wanderungen im Fjordland Nationalpark.

Very enjoyable lodge. The yurt is very large, well equipped and was very clean. Same for the shared cuisine and eating place which is a vast room with a very large and enjoyable panoramic view on the garden The bathroom was very clean and well furnished. Just perfect if you're looking for a quiet place to stay. Didn't exchanged much with the hosts, but instructions emails where received in advance and clear. And for the few we could talk, they were very kind. We wish we could have stayed longer. One comment: one more bathroom & WC could be useful given number of yurt and guests. Only 2 of each.

We had an amazing time at Oasis Yurt Lodge. The jacuzzi is really nice. And the place in general is very neat and clean. Thank you !

It was awesome place to stay. Host also very friendly . Must try hot tub it was great experience also location of hot tub I really like it. We can access to every fresh fruit plant and eat direct from it. Thanks elaine When i came there definitely i stay there.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Clean, quirky, private and comfortable. Short flat walk to shops, restaurants and facilities. Would love to stay again.

The yurt was lovely and peaceful. It’s a bit of a drive from Wanaka (especially when Google takes you down a gravel road - there is a paved route too!) but if you’re after some rural relaxation then this is the place for you. Louise’s cat was lovely as a bonus! It’s got all the facilities you’d need and Louise was super responsive - even when I managed to knock over one of her plant pots 🤦‍♂️

Thank you Pip! My mum and I had a great stay in your beautiful yurts. Loved the very peaceful setting, simple, and has everything you need. The kitchen and bathroom are great, with ample space and well appointed. Also very much appreciated the fresh eggs waiting for us in the fridge. And the yurt! Beautiful design and loved the colours and textures of the furnishings. Was pretty hot on entry - 3pm on a hot summer's day - but with the aircon and rolling up the external plastic blind it soon cooled down. And you could sleep with a light breeze flowing through. Just beautiful. Even through the other 2 yurts were booked, we were totally private, with trees surrounding us and couldn't hear anything. A short drive to the beach for swims and walks and the local fish and chip shop is gold - busy and delicious!

Had a lovely stay in the yurt. Going to sleep to the sounds of waves crashing was epic. Beautiful part of the country.

Fabulous location and stunning view from the studio. Lovely and quiet can hear the waves crashing at night. Cosy studio, comfy bed and modern. Bean bags on the deck were great. Loved this place!
