We had an incredible experience staying at Billy's property! From the moment we arrived, Billy was an outstanding host, making sure everything was perfectly in place and ready for our arrival. The house was spacious and easily accommodated all 6 of us with plenty of room to spare. One of the highlights of our stay was being greeted with freshly baked blueberry muffins – a thoughtful and delicious touch that made us feel right at home. The house had all the amenities we needed, making it feel just like our own home. We particularly enjoyed the private access to the property and the hot tub, which was a great way to unwind after a day of exploring. We had a lovely stay. Chris and Georgie made checkin very easy, proactively providing directions, details of checkin and key collection. The house is exactly as described and was very homely. Going the extra mile, it was lovely to turn up to plenty of essentials - tea, coffee, fresh milk, biscuits and more than one toilet roll! The area itself is beautiful, and the house was central for visits in the surrounding area, which was all just gorgeous! Thank you for a lovely weekend

Lovely cabin, lovely setting within a beautiful park, lovely little walk aroun the lake. Very dog friendly park which was lovey. Very nice hottub. Had everything you might need! Lots of things to do nearby if you have a car, and right next to the zoo.

What a gem of a place! The listing was exactly what was in the tin! The hosts are top-notch and have put a lot of thought and effort into their property and guests' expectations. A well thought out welcome pack for both humans and dogs. There are 7 different areas of seating around the property and grounds all with fabulous views and so you can watch the wide variety of wildlife. When we say the place was clean, it was spotless including the hot tub. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and user friendly. Plenty of books, DVD's, games, puzzles, maps and toiletries. Well recommended.

An excellent, clean property well located for our visit to the Northumberland coast. The site itself was very clean and safe for our grandchildren to play. Vickie was a responsive host who was always quick to answer our questions. The only drawback was poor WiFi and issues with connecting to 4G at times. However this did not spoil our stay one bit. Beautiful house in beautiful surroundings the sea can be seen from the front windows and only a few mins walk to the beach and local bars. Michael was responsive and always helpful. The property is big and has all you’ll need for an home from home experience. We are already looking at a return same time next year 👍🏻👍🏻

I had a very pleasant stay here, it felt like home straight away. Very clean , comfortable and the area was nice and quiet. Joanne is an amazing host , occasionally saying hi and having a nice conversation with me. I felt really happy here and will be staying again ! 100% would recommend as a peaceful and elegant getaway ! If you like nature and sunshine , Joanne’s garden is the place to be and Jesmond Dene just being a stone throw away for the perfect nature walk.

We stayed in this peaceful and spacious flat due to having renovations going on at our property which didn’t quite go to plan. The time we did spend in wylam was great, some lovely walks for our dog 🐶 😊Everything we needed and great for my son to work from 👍Would be more than happy to stay again

Fantastic location, underfloor heating lovely. Happy overall. It’s a shame the local pubs/inns didn’t provide food on a nightly basis. Lovely food when available. Hope and Anchor does good food at a cost!!!!! Sun Inn great and very welcoming.

Credit where it’s due, the house was super comfy and located a short walk into town. The Host, Munro was always avatars came to see us when we couldn’t quite grasp what he meant. Nothing was too much trouble. Thoroughly recommend this house if you’re in the area.

We had a brilliant stay at Elyvale. The cottage was lovely and we cannot fault it, it was a perfect place to relax and unwind. Upon arrival, the key was in the key box as per the instructions and the place was spotlessly clean and very well equipped throughout. The extra touches such as bread, milk and biscuits upon arrival were lovely and communication with Claire was outstanding. This is an excellent base for exploring the area around Rothbury and we would definitely book Elyvale again if visiting this area. Thank you Claire.

We stayed here for a couple of weeks whilst working in the area. Parking is on the quiet street, and we always managed to park very close to the house. The house is as described, comfortable and has all the amenities required. Will stay again when working in the area.

Niel‘s place was great, a secure and quiet location and Niel and Karen were friendly and helpful hosts. The apartment was perfect for the two of us for a short visit. Would definitely recommend.

Had a great 2 night stay just me and my pooch Beryl, right on the beach, I took my camera and got some great shots on from the attic window, lovely beach walks and great food at granny Annie's where dogs are very welcome, will definitely stay again !!

A lovely, well equipped, comfortable cottage which was really close to the promenade and also the shops and services. We were very happy there. Newbiggin is a fascinating town and the huge kites on the beach over the Easter weekend were amazing. There’s a really good sense of being in a vibrant, welcoming community. Thank you.

Carla's house is a gorgeous house of dreams... really gorgeous especially if you like period properties like the little geeks we are. We were a little unsure of how it would be staying the the cellar of someone's house especially as we have a very vocal 18 month old but it was really private and didn't feel strange at all. Carla went the extra mile by providing a fridge full of essential food (and a little bottle of Prosecco), had a selection of toys for our little boy and had loads of great local recommendations. We had a really enjoyable stay in Alnwick courtesy of Karen's lovely holiday home. It was within easy walking distance of the town centre and just a short stroll down the road to the legendary Barter Books. The house itself was well equipped with everything we needed for our week-long trip, including a clean and well-stocked kitchen, a good-size bathroom and comfortable living room come dining area. The yard at the back was also a perfect sun trap that both we and our two boys enjoyed sitting in. Would definitely recommend!
