Sarah was responsive and welcoming and the cabin was lovely - well fitted, cosy, and the log burning stove inside and log burning hot tub outside were great. Lovely walk around the grounds to a pond and keep your curtains open at the foot of the bed for a gorgeous sunrise. Went for our son's first birthday and had a blast. Would go again!

I can’t recommend this place more…in fact In already have done too friends. We wanted somewhere great for our anniversary and it didn’t disappoint. We were impressed with all of the final touches and attention to detail. The mini hamper of treats was a real bonus.

From the initial booking hosts were extremely helpful and responsive. The most helpful hosts ever experienced on Air b n b! . The Luxury stay, was exactly that. Great experience, the accommodation was clean, airy and situated in the most beautiful location. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning. The hot tub was gorgeous, hosts had organised a balloon display for me, for my friends birthday. Nothing was to much trouble to make this a pleasurable stay.

Stayed here for a birthday night away. Wished we stayed longer instantly. So nice & beautiful view of the sunset & stars at night. Super cozy and just lovely area - coming from the Lake District too! This was lush.

Beautiful cabin, filled with everything you'd need for a peaceful, relaxing getaway. Well stocked kitchen with some lovely touches on arrival. Bathroom is excellent with great water pressure in the shower. Location is easy to find and superb for getting to lots of the local walking spots. Would definitely recommend.

It was a lovely and quiet place, Gillian & co made us feel very comfortable and had lots of recommendations! 10/10 would see Rupert again! Thanks for having us!

Great place to stay, exactly like the photos. Quiet location with bar/restaurant on site, wild rabbits running aroud the lodges was lovely to watch. Comfortable beds and furniture. Would definitely recommend.

I stayed a Peter's place for two nights. it's very close to the university. My stay was very comfortable and Peter is a great host. He is very respectful, welcoming and it's like being in a home from home. I managed to park on the road outside his place. I would recommend staying here. Great host, great location and very comfortable.

We booked for only 2 nights with not much notice. Great set up for the 3 of us. Could have spent longer there. Not easy to find initially but Jamie responded with remarkable swiftness! Appreciated the flexibility on check out as well. All good.

We stayed at the Lodge for 4 weeks due to a delayed house completion. The location is amazing in every respect. The lodge is more spacious than the pictures suggest - walk in wardrobes amazing for our extended stay. Well equipped, very efficient heating and hot water Long local beach walks with the cafe (great ice cream), literally 15m away. We did not use the entertainment complex but it always looked busy Thoroughly recommended

We booked a weekend stay at Hope Cabin, and it's the perfect place to get away for some peace and quiet with the dog. The cabin was fantastic, much larger than we anticipated while still feeling nice and cosy. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The surroundings were also very nice - we loved having the stream nearby and being able to watch the sheep in the neighbouring fields from the patio. We arrived after dark but the paths were well lit, and Brendon had helpfully provided a wheelbarrow to help us carry our bags up. Brendon was extremely responsive and friendly, and went above and beyond in helping with our queries during the stay. Would definitely love to return!

We had a great stay at Lucy’s place. Our son had a great time. We would recommend our friends to come visit and spend some time here. Been a great retreat.

Staying in Hail Hill was fabulous. Everything was exactly as described, great location, spotless accommodation. We had a great time, would 1000% return. The few queries we did have were answered almost immediately and with extra information to help us out. Sinead and Brendon left us some little treats in the cabin which was such a special little touch. Would recommend for anyone wanting a lovely peaceful little trip in a clean cute environment. Lovely Glamping Pod! Brilliantly kitted out and very modern. You need to drive past the sat nav destination by about 300 yards if coming from north to south. The cafe was brilliant and did an amazing fresh breakfast with high quality ingredients. The bed was very comfy too and the facilities were all very modern. Wireless Bluetooth speakers which played from the ceiling as an example. The downside was the door between the bedroom and sitting area wouldn’t close and I didn’t like the fact you had to change your own bin the next morning. I would recommend though it was really nice and a brilliant, peaceful location. It’s more like staying in a luxury apartment with a glamping feel. The communication was excellent too. Also very understanding when I had to cancel first time. Full refund no questions asked. Would defo go back!

David place was amazing, superb views of the coastline and very quiet being at the end of the row. We would definitely return here.

Very cosy and spotlessly clean. It was very peaceful and quiet with a lovely surrounding and very close parking and clear instructions and the oat milk sachets were a great touch would 100 percent stay again.

We had a great couple of nights at the lodge. Carole was very friendly and helpful, super host status fully deserved. The lodge was easy to find, cosy and very clean. Everything you could need for a short break was provided. The surrounding area around the lodge was very quiet and peaceful. Hamsterley Forest visitor centre was so close, it hardly warrants driving round to it. If you enjoy wooden walks there are plenty just a short drive away. Overall we has a lovely quiet break and enjoyed our time around the lodge. Happily go back. Thanks Carole.

We had such a lovely few nights here. The surroundings are so beautiful and private, really felt like the break from day to day life that we needed. Plus the baby cows at this time of year were an extra bonus 🥰 the hot tub is an amazing luxury! Only things I’d highlight is access is a bit tricky (big steep hill on foot) and would be difficult if you have any mobility issues! Also all cooking equipment is only outside, which was fun for us, but could be cold in poor weather! All in all we had an amazing time and we were already talking about our hopes to come back before we even left! Thanks John 😊
