We spent a weekend to visit family and thought it would be fun to stay in Newport. We never expected to be so close to the ocean. There were so many shops and restaurants in walking distance that we never had to move our car. It was quiet, relaxing, and felt like home. It is the perfect size for 4 people. The beds were very comfortable and the linens smelled clean and fresh. The only problem was our stay was too short! Next time it will be longer. I highly recommend staying here! Perfect location!

The cottage was the perfect place for my wife and I to stay for a long weekend! John and Kimberlee were wonderful hosts who provided just enough guidance and conversation to make us feel welcome yet free to use the space. Steps from the beach and restaurants made it easy to walk to almost anything, while longer trips to Balboa pier were possible on the bikes provided! Thank you so much for helping make our trip perfect!

Nous avons terminé notre séjour de 4 semaines (visite des grands parcs américains de l’ouest) par deux journées idylliques dans une des locations d’Arabella (Myrtle). En lisant les commentaires je craignais que ce soit bruyant. Mais moi qui suis une maniaque du bruit, j’ai très très bien dormi. Ces cabanes en bois sont chic, ont du caractère et un confort et charme incroyables. J’aurais adoré rester plus longtemps, j’ai cru être au paradis. Mon mari et 3 grands ado sont aussi tombés sous le charme de ce logement et de Laguna Beach super bien situé. Je le recommande vivement.

Loved the private bungalow. Very clean and cozy. Quiet and relaxing. The bed was super comfortable. Enjoyed the living room , curling up on the comfy couch and watching the flat screen tv. Would recommend, and would visit again ! Peter was very kind and helpful.

Paul was an awesome host. He always responded in seconds to any text. The place was emasculate. I love the jacuzzi, it was the best! Very peaceful neighborhood, yet walking distance to everything. I have only good things to say about Paul’s place. I would fully recommend staying here and definitely will be back!

Mike is an incredibly kind person, who was an absolute lifesaver for us after we had to evacuate our home due to the fire. He welcomed us and our two cats and dog, and was incredibly helpful throughout our whole ordeal. He reached out to check in on us regularly, let us drop our things off early and check out late, and was generally very kind and helpful. The backyard and tiki bar are absolutely wonderful!

This is a hidden gem in Long Beach. The neighborhood is so beautiful and diverse! Everyone we met was kind and we ate at all the local breakfast places. Kris was a five star host and an incredible communicator. We loved this neighborhood and cute bungalow.

Great spot, exactly as described, walkable to the best street with shops and restaurants and the Ocean and pier - place was great and would stay again!

As always, Michelle’s Cambridge House was perfect for our short stay in Orange. We love how comfortable and peaceful it is, especially sitting out on the deck drinking our coffee in the morning. We also love how close it is to Old Town Orange as well as getting to the freeway. The neighborhood is quaint and the house is quiet. There’s a reason it has been our go-to place for the past 4 years!

We visited during the holiday season and were absolutely blown away by the holiday decorations. The host's festive touches transformed this already magical space into a winter wonderland that made our stay even more memorable. Every room sparkled with holiday cheer, creating the perfect ambiance for our getaway. The cottage was impeccably equipped with everything we needed - we didn't have to think twice about amenities. The kitchen was well-stocked and there were plenty of extra touches that showed our host's attention to detail and care for their guests' comfort. Highly recommend to anyone looking to experience a piece of Balboa Island history!
