Stunning! This felt like a true home-away-from home for a few days and everything about the listing was exactly as described when I checked in. I was looking for beautiful ocean views, a place directly on the water where I’d be able to feel at-home during my stay. Jane’s place absolutely nailed it. I would love to return and have already shared Jane’s place with friends looking for great stays along the coast. Our hosts were so friendly and quickly responded. The unit was spotless and well-stocked with linens and even kitchenware if you’re planning to eat in during your stay.

The best aspect of this place is the location. It is within walking distance of several good restaurants, is very close to an excellent grocery store, an art center, and one of the great walking beaches on the Oregon coast. The kitchen is well appointed; we had what we needed to make tasty meals. This is a studio, so your kitchen and bedroom are in the space. This was not a problem, however, and I enjoyed watching the waves from the comfortable king sized bed. Netflix served fine for entertainment and we heard little noise from neighbors. All in all a really nice Thanksgiving getaway.

The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect—close to amazing restaurants, yet peaceful and relaxing. Sand castle was incredibly welcoming and responsive, making sure I had everything I needed. The thoughtful touches, like complimentary coffee, a cozy fireplace, great hot tub, made my stay even better. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Lincoln city!

Smaller place but was fine for 4 adult adults, walking distance to a few restaurants/bars and the beach. Looked just like the pictures so nothing misleading. Priced fair in my eyes, cheaper than a couple hotel rooms but you get more amenities.

Some of the best tide pooling we have seen along the OR coast! You have to walk the beach north at low tide until you get to the bend in the road and oh my! We spent all morning finding sea creatures! Definitely worth it just for this. At first I was disappointed we didn’t have miles of beach to walk, but at low tide there is so much to explore (not on the rocks close to the cabin though, you need to walk north a ways). My kids loved the cozy loft. It fit a family of 4 comfortably, although the bathroom is very small (wasn’t a problem for my kids and I, but my 5’10 husband was a little uncomfortable) and it would be tight if you’re bigger or taller. We would stay again!

We spent a couple stormy winter days and thoroughly enjoyed our time at the beach. We played games and watched the stormy waves. The beach access is unbeatable. We hope to return for a longer stay during the summer. The bonus of coming in winter was the feeling of privacy with hardly any people to be seen on the beach. The cleanliness of the entire home and well appointed kitchen made us feel right at home.

Perfect place to stay with a large group. Everything was clean, organized and easy to find. We loved the view from both lower and upper decks. Was very kid friendly but would suggest brining something to block the stairs off if you have a toddler (we have a 1 year old that was very curious of the staircase)… overall excellent, easy stay!

This beach house was perfect for our two families - plenty of space for everyone without feeling cramped. The views were absolutely incredible and the place was super clean too. You can just walk right out to the sand directly from the back door- exactly what we were hoping for in an Oregon coast getaway.

Our family vacation here was perfect. Everything was exactly as pictured/described. Our family group of 11 was comfortable in the space. As a mom of 4 small toddlers I was impressed that I didn’t have to baby proof anything but the space still felt very nice. Kitchen was well equipped with all we needed, all the appliances were efficient and functioned well. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept great. Views were incredible, our family got the master and thoroughly enjoyed watching the waves from bed. Hot tub was very enjoyable. The walk to the beach access was flat and an easy distance for even the toddlers to manage easily. Dee was responsive to our questions and ahead of time everything was so well explained we didn’t really need to ask her much! Our family loved our stay here and hope to stay again. 10/10 recommend!!

A gorgeous and unique home obviously filled with happy memories. There is a pub diner literally next door but the house remains private (as long as you remember the crab fishermen can also see you through the windows). The views are amazing and the home itself is a wonderfully warm space that feels like a a place meant to be enjoyed. They have a comprehensive and well written home guide that will walk you all the way to and thru Waldport at low tide, and the small town itself has plenty of treasures to uncover.

This home was very well stocked and fit 2 families very comfortably. The beach is just a step away and the back deck has great sunset views. Fantastic location!

We had a fantastic Thanksgiving at the Heron House! The location was great - walking distance to town and to a small beach at the mouth of the river. The beds were comfortable and the kids had a fun time trying out the various sleeping nooks. The kitchen had everything we needed for our Thanksgiving meal. We even got in a round of tennis at the nearby courts. Wish we had visited in the summer to swim in the river. Would definitely stay again!

Loved staying here! Getting down to the beach is a peaceful little walk. We enjoyed going out every morning to walk on the beach, and evenings at the picnic table watching the sunset. Oregon is magic and this house embodies some of that magic. We very much enjoyed the style, the stained glass, comfy beds, the wood, and the cozy fireplace. I don’t think the pictures really do the home justice! The hosts were quick to respond when we have a few questions pop up. Would recommend!

We had a great stay! The condo is beautiful and clean. It was a bit trickier than we expected to get down to the beach, but the view was awesome.

This is a great little condo overlooking the bay. We really enjoyed our stay. They have lots of little personal touches and things available to you like condiments in the fridge, extra pillows and blankets, shampoo/conditioner, even makeup wipes. Michelle was very proactive in her communication and even messaged us early on check in day that we could check in early. It was cute, clean and convenient to Lincoln City.

Amazing view of the beach and bay, tastefully decorated, very clean and the furniture was very comfortable. We had everything we needed to enjoy our stay, parking was great too. Nice hosts that cared about our stay. We will definitely book again.

Good location in Depoe Bay. Very scenic with the ocean right outside your windows. While there is no beach access on site it’s a short drive to Gleneden with nice flat and walkable beaches. Good location with convenient access to Newport Bay and the Lincoln City outlet stores. It’s a short walk to downtown Depoe Bay with lots to do including whale watching. The unit is a nice three bedroom with a fully equipped kitchen and a sizable living room area. Two of the bedrooms have their own private bathroom and a third bathroom is in the hallway for the third bedroom. There are two swimming pools with hot tubs, as well as tennis court and a combination basketball/pickleball sports court. We enjoyed our time and will definitely be back in the future for more visits.

This was a beautiful place to spend the weekend. It had a great view of the ocean, walkable to great restaurants and coffee shops. It is on the corner so lots of light. The weekend weather was not ideal with high winds and sideways rain so it was a comfortable place to cozy up and wait out the weather. Thanks!

Whale Cove was far better than expected. Joni was gracious enough to let us check in early and check out late. The condo is filled with everything you’d ever need and more. We stayed November 13-20, 2024. The King waves were the largest we’ve ever seen! Gorgeous and LOUD! The beds were so comfortable and I would love to have her pillows and sheets. We brought our service dog (lab). It was nice to have a laundry room as soon as you walk in the door, so we could dry her off. We will definitely be back to her condo/home. Thanks again, Joni. The condo was very clean and had a great view of the beach off the balcony! It’s very close to the road and there is a 4th floor so there is noise outside and above you but it didn’t bug us. Kitchen was stocked, bed was comfy and the condo was super cute! We would definitely stay again.

We had a great stay in Oregon. The instructions for check in were very detailed and accurate and we received them early on before we arrived. The space was as described and there were a few amenities that were not listed which was a pleasant surprise. We really took advantage of using the electric fireplace. The view from the balcony is beautiful. The area is very quiet this time of year but with enough people around to give a neighborhood feel. We would recommend staying here when visiting Neskowin and will be back often. Thank you for your hospitality!
