We stayed the week after Labor Day, when everything shuts down for the season. That was the perfect time to be there for us because we wanted a quiet place away. It would NOT be quiet during peak season, but you couldn't find a better location to walk over to Scarborough Beach. The deck was our favorite part: the view, lounge chairs, the wall making it somewhat private to the street. We were not there in the heat of the summer, so we didn't use the window AC unit. The ceiling fan in the main room, and ocean breezes, kept things very comfortable. Not sure how the AC would work in heat, it's in the middle of the space, but in the hallway connecting the bedroom to the front room. Things to be aware of: the view comes from the 2nd floor, so you will have to go up a flight of stairs to a platform to the 3 units. The bedroom is above the main door, so you will hear people going in and out. The unit very spacious. Bright, comfortable, beautiful sunrises.

Mark was a great host. The cozy cottage was next to the ocean and there's a beach in walking distance. The cottage itself had the rustic charm I remember from the trips we made to the coast when I was a kid in the seventies.

Michelle was wonderful. Always responsive and helpful. Her home is beautiful, clean and comfortable. Just a quick walk to the beach via a private path. We saw gorgeous sunrises AND sunsets. Anything we needed, from dishes to coffee to measuring spoons to beach chairs, was there. Comfortable beds and linens. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. We had a great stay at the general store. Loved the space! Open and airy kitchen-dining-living room area with plenty of room to spread out, play games, and just hang out. Cute little outdoor hang out area too! The bedrooms are comfy & having 2 full bathrooms is key! The location is excellent. Walkable to the restaurants & shops on Thames street & the surrounding streets. Two nice parks & a little beach nearby & historic homes everywhere. The mansions are walkable too if you are intrepid. Had a great time & hope to stay again the next time we come to Newport!

This apartment was fantastic. All new, very comfortable, and super clean. Perfect spot for my weekend visit to Brown/RISD with family. Great location on Benefit St, right next to the new Brown Bee Coffee shop, which is excellent. Firas was a super responsive and friendly host. I hope to stay there again on a future visit.

We will absolutely stay again. Andrew was very responsive and easy to book with. The resort had everything you could want and was walkable to town. All staff members were very helpful and friendly throughout the weekend.

The location was amazing - great for walking and fun coffee places and restaurants nearby. The place was in a beautiful old home. They totally redid the inside…. 4 sweet bedrooms. I felt I was in a homegoods studio - the place was fully staged with matching glamorous decor. We loved it - thank you!

We loved staying at this condo. Everything was exactly as described and in perfect condition: comfortable beds, toiletries, games: everything we needed for our short stay was there. The location is great for walking everywhere. The host was very easy to contact and helpful: we had a few questions and they were resolved immediately. We would definitely stay again!

Perfect spot for the weekend! Kathy’s place is exactly as described, with an amazing open family room. Best location, in that it’s walkable to everything but removed enough to be quiet and peaceful at night. Kathy’s instructions to get in were simple and easy and having the parking pass was super helpful too. Highly highly recommend!!

My sisters and I enjoyed a fabulous visit to Newport, RI after almost a decade of being away from New England. Coming off season was delightful - fewer crowds, happy merchants and service people, great restaurants and shops still open and available. Our condominium had private, reserved parking (two spots). The building felt safe and secure. The elevator to the top floor unit was very helpful with our luggage and belongings. Each of us enjoyed the pleasure of having our own bedrooms and bathrooms to use. Newport is very walkable. Once the car was parked in the garage, we only had to take it out once to do a scenic drive. Otherwise there was plenty of strolling, shopping and restaurants within walking distance. Starbucks was a short walk from the condo and opened at 5:30am each morning. I was the sister elected to be the early bird to walk to get coffee for the group. I felt safe and enjoyed the pre-dawn walk in the crisp, cool Fall air. Fabulous vacation, thanks!

Perfect location to walk around downtown Newport and enjoys the shops and restaurants.

This was such a great location! Walkable to all of the downtown restaurants, bars and wharf. The space was more than enough for my getaway weekend with a few friends. Paul was helpful and extremely responsive with any questions we had. Would definitely choose this location again!

Our third time staying at this location and we were thrilled with the beautiful updates/renovations both on the roof deck and common corridor carpet.

Me and my friends from college wanted a quick getaway to Newport for the weekend. This was a great location, very walkable to the restaurants and bars. Parking can be tricky in Newport so be aware of the signage.

Perfect location. Right where you want to be in downtown Newport. Room was very clean and comfortable. Spacious living room. We really enjoyed it .
