We had a lovely stay at John's place. The accommodation was clean, cosy and well-decorated. The view from the patio windows was incredible. Lots of lighting options and excellent cooking facilities and bathrooms, which are important for comfort and convenience. You are within 5 minutes' walk of a local Eurospar, coffee shops, pubs and a couple of fine restaurants. Walkers will also love proximity to Murlough nature reserve and the Mournes. We look forward to returning at another time.

Absolutely lovely place in between the sea and the mountains. We were able to hike through the Mourne mountains without taking the car - that's how close you are to the foot of the mountains! We took a hiking guide and binoculars with us on the hike which was a practical plus in the apartment. The place is clean and has everything for a short stay. The hosts left us some toast, butter and milk which was a nice touch. I recommend this place!

Dundrum is a beautiful place to be. Wading birds. Seals. Stunning walks. Mourne mountains. Great local restaurants. Friendly local church at St Donards. Gillian's apartment is a great place from which to experience it.

We had a wonderful stay at Glenda and Charlie’s place. It was spotlessly clean, well equipped and comfortable. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and walks and swims nearby.

Roberta’s unit was wonderful and the location was walkable to everything in Newcastle. The view of the ocean was amazing and relaxing. The parking spot in the garage was also extremely convenient.

A delightful, quirky homely place in a great location. Well equipped with everything we needed. We would definitely stay again.

Just back from an amazing two night break with my husband. Stunning surroundings, right on the beach, peaceful and relaxing. Great hosts, friendly and very welcoming, with the fire lit for our arrival. Easily contactable if necessary. Beautiful restaurants in the nearby village, need to book in advance. Didn’t want to leave😢 and will definitely book again.🤗 Thank you Alex and Danny for sharing your beautiful beach house. It’s exactly what it says on the tin!

We had such a good Weekend at the cottage. The cottage itself was beautiful and amazing views front and back! It was spotless clean, fabulous welcome pack and everything you would need for a perfect stay! The beach is beautiful and all of the surrounding area also. Tara was a proactive and friendly host, always available if we needed but we had everything we needed and no issues at the house. We would absolutely recommend and will be booking again for a linger stay, the kids did not want to leave! The games were super also, made for great family time in the evenings!

Had a lovely 2 night break at Kate's beautiful home. Kate was there to greet us at check in and gave us a tour of the house & some local recommendations. The view from the balcony over Strangford Lough is amazing and our toddler loved watching the ferry coming and going each day. We thought the house was really good value. It had everything we needed for a short break and made us realise we can cope without tv for a few days 😂 We would definitely stay again and will be recommending to friends and family. What a lovely property. Totally as described and very comfortable, stylish and well equipped. Also very clean , beautifully decorated for Christmas and with a useful welcome pack.

The house was clean and comfortable in the perfect location. We were just a few minutes away from the beach, restaurants, bars and shops. Helen was helpful and communicated with us at every turn, letting us in early when she realized we had arrived ahead of schedule. We would stay there again and highly recommend the accommodations.

We absolutely loved staying at Judith's. Our daughter celebrated her fifth birthday and she loved it, she said she would like to have every birthday here. She loves the beach and it is right at the doorstep. The location was beautiful, Judith was very accommodating, neighbours and visitors to the beach were also friendly. We also loved lighting a fire and enjoying our time in when it got dark. We would visit again any time.

The apartment exceeded our expectations. Very comfortable and spotless. easy to find as the directions the host gave us were spot on. loved the recommendation for parking and found it so helpful. overall we loved everything about our stay and will definitely be returning in the neat future.

Well what can I say, an amazing place Tracy has, the views of the beach and the mountains is amazing 👌the place was so welcoming when we arrived , the little touches of food and a little welcome pack was a real touch , the beds were comfortable and it was really a little piece of heaven just what we needed. we went to see santa cottage which is why we stayed here and it was so close. can't wait to make it an annual thing . see you next year. ❤️

We absolutely loved our stay at this apartment in Newcastle! The apartment is well-equipped with everything we needed and very centrally located around restaurants, cafes, and shops. It was wonderful waking up each day to so much sunshine and an absolutely stunning sea view. Peter and Hazel were exceptional hosts. They were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again!

Our family enjoyed the incredible property as we were in Newcastle for our daughter’s wedding. The space is filled with comfortable seating and multiple places to relax. All of us were able to enjoy the views of the sea and sunrise. The beds are super comfortable and linens top quality. We also enjoyed the kitchen with a full refrigerator and island to prepare food and eat. Another plus was having a washer and dryer as we had all been traveling for several days before our arrival plus we had a 2 month old with us. The space was warm and carpets welcomed. All bathrooms were very clean and well lit. It was also very walkable to restaurants and the Lidl plus Slieve Donard Hotel where the wedding reception was held. There are also two parking spots inside the coded gate making it very safe as well. What a wonderful and memorable time for our family to enjoy together as we came together for our daughter’s wedding. We would not hesitate to return.

We spent 4 nights at David's house. It was perfect for our toddler with the washing machine, hoover and having netflix on the tv. The village was very friendly and welcoming with everyone stopping to chat to us. I am always worried travelling with kids that the property will be cold, but it was very warm and cosy! The aquarium in Portaferry is a must! Really enjoyable few days and the view from the apartment is amazing!

A great one bedroom apartment - easy check in with a lock box, fantastic bathroom and kitchen with all the essentials, and a very comfortable bed.
