Everything about our stay was perfect :) Room was as described and right across the street from a beautiful beach. They accommodated us with such kindness and even let us check in early which we appreciated so much. They also own the restaurant across the street which serves delicious food. Definitely recommend and would stay again. Thank you again for the hospitality :)

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Colibri. The room was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. So nice to have air conditioning with the hot temperatures outside!! The staff were also very helpful, professional and friendly. Anything we needed they accommodated for us. There were restaurants, a large mall and a grocery store all within a 5-10 minute walk of the hotel. The breakfast was fine, but I would not say it was a true Nica breakfast except for the gallo pinto. Still I would recommend this hotel to anyone and it very fairly priced. Thank you again for the nice stay!

Beautiful place to stay and relax for a few days. The lake is stunning and you can take kayaks out at no extra cost. We enjoyed having breakfast with other guests and playing with the very friendly dogs that are around! Donaldo was very helpful and was always there to help with any questions. Only thing to watch out for with staying on the lake is that restaurants can close quite early in the evening (especially on Sunday), so make sure you don't accidently end up without dinner!

Die Unterkunft ist einfach nur toll. Einen riesen Garten, wo man verweilen kann, einen Pool & kleine aber tolle Zimmer. Cynthia ist immer offen für Fragen & Anliegen, wie auch reagiert sehr schnell. Ihre Mutter ist sooo lieb und hilfsbereit, gibt Tipps für Aktivitäten und ist immer bereit für einen Schwatz. Auch anderen Mitarbeiter sind super. Das Frühstück ist auch toll (gibts zwischen 08.00-10.00). Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen. Vielen Dank

What an amazing family that hosted us. They talked to us, gave us so much useful information and we became friends. The house is clean and in a very safe area. You can really get a feel of the local life and authenticity of the country. The dog was adorable and this was one of the most approachable friendly hosts I’ve ever had.

Merci à Chiara pour son accueil et ses bons conseils pour les activités locales! Elle a su nous aguiller avec ses contacts locaux, notamment en cours de surf et expédition de kayak! Le logement était bien ventilé. Malgré l’absence d’air climatisé, nos nuits étaient confortables! Plusieurs restaurants via la plage sont accessibles. Je recommande!

We loved our stay at Finca El Socorro with Sara and Edgar. They made us feel right at home on their farm. Although there is a shared kitchen for cooking, we asked Sara to cook dinner for us each night and the meals were delicious. Each meal was US$10 and well worth it. The rooms are situated on a hill above the family home which meant we had amazing views of the mountains and a consistent cool breeze. The large porch was where we spent the bulk of our time talking, reading, playing games, and just enjoying the peace. Edgar speaks perfect English and gave us lots of information about his coffee plantation in addition to his dairy cows. We walked the property with the fellowship of Tres and Tonka, two very sweet and friendly dogs. Breakfast is included in the price and a great way to start the day. We did not have our own vehicle but Sara and Edgar helped us arrange whatever we wanted to do. The finca is 2.5km from Matagalpa on a steep hill so be prepared to walk up and down hills.

Great view of San Juan del sur. Gadi and the rest of the staff were very nice, friendly and will you feel right home. The breakfast was delicious. The location is about a 10 minute walk to downtown. Walking back can be a challenge for some people as the road is steep. Recommend car or taxi. Other than that everything was great no complaints.

Wir waren hier für unsere letzten Tage in Nicaragua. Die Unterkunft war einfach ein Träumchen. Wir wurden herzlichst von Mary-Jane und ihrem Mann Gianmaria begrüßt. Schon die Kommunikation im Voraus war sehr gut. Das Zimmer ist schön groß,mit angrenzendem Bad und ein wirklich sehr bequemes Bett. Der Außenbereich mit Pool ist auch ein wunderschöner Relaxbereich , man ist zwar Mitten in San Juan del Sur aber mit dem schönen Garten fühlt man sich sehr abgeschieden und kann toll relaxen. Mary-Jane und ihr Mann hatten auch super Restaurant-Tips die wir ausprobiert haben und alle waren sehr lecker. Frühstück wurde von Mary-Jane persönlich gemacht und besser konnten wir es nicht haben! Wir haben uns dort sehr sehr wohlgefühlt und uns kam es eher so vor als wären wir bei guten Freunden zu Besuch. Zu erwähnen wären auch noch die Tiere. Die Hunde Dobie,Lily,Rio,Sky und Mayo haben wir gleich ins Herz geschlossen sowie die Katzen. Sollte man nicht Tier vernarrt sein,wird darauf geachtet! Ein Traum

Our stay with Luis' family was one of our best experiences of the trip! Warm welcome, delicious food and nice long walk on the beach just in front. The place is quite remote so you will need to rent transportation to explore the area. It was easy to arrange and the person came to bring and pick up the motorbike directly on site. We wish this wonderful family all the best and hope to keep in touch! The cocoricos ;)

Perfect location in the heart of Leon. The room is clean, the breakfast is very nice and Maria and her family are very kind. They waited for us while our shuttle was delayed🙏🏼 Would definitely come back!

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt bei Tatiana sehr genossen und können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen. Das Zimmer war geräumig und gemütlich, auch die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet. Tatiana war eine hilfsbereite Gastgeberin, die Kommunikation mit ihr war durchgehend positiv. Toll war auch, dass wir ganz unkompliziert einen Scooter über sie mieten konnten. Am besten hat uns aber die Terrasse mit dem Blick über die umliegenden Bananenplantagen und auf die zwei Vulkane der Insel gefallen!

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in MAHALO. Die Unterkunft war genau so schön, wie auf den Bildern. Der Strand nur einen Katzensprung entfernt was wirklich toll ist! Carina, die Managerin, sowie die weiteren Angestellten waren wirklich sehr freundlich & zuvorkommend.

I really wish I could rate Darren’s place with more stars than 5, this place is the best in las peñitas, it’s beautiful and the staff is very friendly from start to end of your stay. Plus, jake’s such a wonderful company too!

Great quiet location with just steps to the San Juan Beach & Malecon. Bellisima style home- renovated antique wood home with real comfort throughout! Plenty of places to chill, delicious food & amazing staff. Comfy bedrooms, rooms with plenty of shelves etc. Hot water showers, AC, pool and breakfast included!

So I stayed here in September during low season. There was only me and another guest. Thank God for the guitar and Ukulele because it aloud me to be creative and play some tunes while staring up into the stars. And Sarah the Manager was an amazing host and also kept me company and we had some really good laughs. honestly Sarah made my stay a memorable one. I definitely recommend this place. Also, I believe the Owner gives back to the community and owns a martial arts studio in San juan and offers free training to the locals. (that was my understanding from a reliable source)

pasamos 2 noches con Juan y su familia, fue todo perfecto, el lugar es muy bueno por relajarse en las amacas, la comida está excelente, y el tour al canyon es muy divertido y bien organizado. recomendado al 100%

mega anfitrion siempre me ayudo a todas mis inquietudes. un bello lugar par relajarte y pasar unas vacaciones super. muy bonita decoracion en todo el complejo. cuartos muy comodos,buen aire,camas comodas y buen wifi. los muchachos siempre estuvieron pendientes a nosotros en todo lo q necesitabamos. rico desayuno para empezar tu dia. seguridad 24 hrs . nos encanto todo. se los recomiendo
