This stay was special in exactly the way we thought it would be. You’re sleeping right in the middle of the jungle, but protected with a net on the bed. You can hear all sorts of animals throughout the night and day which enhances your experience. The restaurant on the grounds is magnificent and has amazing food. Our host Megan was so supportive and proactive with our constant change in travel plans. She also helped setting up a guide to hike the volcano as well as took care of our ferry tickets to come in (we did ourselves for the way back due to last minute changes and it was a huge pain) Overall, if you’re looking to be immersed in nature on an island with several good restaurants and plenty of things to do. This stay is perfectly located for that and offers great value for the price.

Habe den Aufenthalt bei Lizzeth und Mark sehr genossen. Beide sind sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Auch die Verpflegung (Frühstück und Abendessen) war immer sehr lecker! Kann die Adresse der Beiden absolut weiterempfehlen!!!! Vielen Dank nochmals für den Service!!

Liked this place a lot. I got a private room here to take a short break from the crowded hostel life. The folks here were super chill and cool. The owner Johnny is awesome. Very chill guy and super flexible and good with communication. Would highly recommend!

Es war traumhaft . Ruhiger Ort zum entspannen. Kommunikation schnell, freundlich und hilfreich. Alle vor Ort unfassbar freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ich würde wieder kommen.

Margaux, Matute, Gabriel, Diana sono stati eccezionali, degli amici. Purtroppo quando sono arrivato in questo posto non sono stato bene, avevo la febbre e sono stati giorni difficili per me ma grazie alle premure dei ragazzi mi sono lentamente ripreso, ma non ho avuto modo di esplorare la zona come avrei voluto. il luogo è bellissimo e i ragazzi molto accoglienti, degli amici. Raccomandato assolutamente. Il luogo è davvero bello e la compagnia dei ragazzi unica.

I don’t even know where to start, this place may be mine & my partners favourite place we’ve ever stayed in 🥹. Beautiful, calm, peaceful… just, wonderful. Nolver & his team are fabulous and were so warm and welcoming when we arrived, Jonathan was also great with communication before we arrived! The bed is HUGE and so comfy, there’s no aircon but you don’t need it as the ceiling fan along with the open windows (with bug shields!) ensures the room stays the perfect temperature! The breakfasts are absolutely delicious, and you can enjoy on your own private porch where it is ready and waiting for you in the morning! Hot water!!! Which is an absolute luxury on the island! The room & bathroom are also beautifully decorated, which we loved! The garden is a beautiful oasis, we loved watching the monkeys in the afternoons, as well as the incredible view of the volcano 🌋🧡 10/10, can’t fault it at all - would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We had awesome stay at the Java Jungle. The owners are so nice and very helpful. The place is gourgeous and clean. Room with air con and confortable beds. We will definitely Come back there. Thanks for the stay and experience

This is a very special place. Salinas Grandes is more tranquil & peaceful than other beaches in Nicaragua, and Somar Surf Lodge was a fantastic place to stay. The property is very pretty and the people are wonderful. I loved the casita - the bed is very comfortable! Thank-you so much for your wonderful hospitality!

Chris is a wonderful host, very friendly, and makes you feel right at home. Their space is beautiful, absolutely gorgeous, even better than the pictures!! The kitchen was awesome and very well equipped, we cooked most meals because it was so lovely. Playa Hermosa is a wonderful, close by beach that is very chill and has a great open-air restaurant. Highly recommend staying here for a peaceful refuge! We will be back!!

It is hard to find words to describe this serene place. Absolutely breathtakingly beautiful. The place was everything as described and more. The pictures don’t do it justice. Thank you- we will never forget our stay here.

el Hotel tiene un mirador con vista hacia el volcán Masaya fantástica, con solo estar en el mirador y apreciar la ladera del volcán vale la pena el lugar. Éramos un grupo de 15 personas nos ubicaron en cuartos direntes tal y como lo habíamos solicitado, la piscina estaba limpia y el desayuno nos la sirvieron en el mirador. Lo recomiendo al 100% El unico detalle es que no había Shampoo en el baño, pero si suficientes toallas limpias y el lugar super limpio y buen aire acondicionado

Uns hat das Ananda Guesthouse sehr gut gefallen und wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Der Blick aus der Unterkunft ist magisch. Die Mitarbeiter waren immer sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit und haben uns bei der Ausleihe von Rollern oder anderen Buchungen unterstützt. Klare Empfehlung! Allerdings ist der Weg zur Unterkunft unbefestigt und abends nicht beleuchtet, dass sollte einem bewusst sein!

Nous sommes restés 3 nuit chez Mark et Lizzeth et se fut très agréable.Un endroit tres typique et authentique . La cuisine de Mama étais excellente et la propreté des lieux es numéro 1. Le rendement qualité prix es au rendez vous . Le seul bémol les toilettes et douche commune à l'extérieur et un peu éloigné des services ...sinon c'était super....oooh et Mark a été un hôte des plus attentif, toujours présent et de bon conseil..Merci encore

If your looking for an authentic experience this is it. We were hosted by Mama Rosario. She made an amazing dinner. I’ve been in Nicaragua and it was the best meal I’ve had to far. The dogs were friendly and super sweet. In the morning my two younger children helped collect eggs and played with Mamas sweet grand children. They really liked Mama and kept asking me, “how do you say, Can I help?” so they could help cook. Mamas breakfast was incredible as well. We would def stay here again. Thank you!!

Lizzeth and Mark were great hosts. The cooking was amazing. We felt at home. We loved getting the experience of living with a local family and understanding more about Nicaragua.
