Carrie brought homemade cookies when we checked in as well as a few footballs after she saw we had young boys. The pictures on the ad are a bit outdated but that means the place is way better than we expected as they have all new furniture. Very cozy cabin with all the needed amenities.

This worked great for a short trip to visit my son. It was clean , stocked with dishes , right down the street from a coffee shop/ gas station / local gym and about a 10 minute drive from our old church . This place ended up being perfect for what we needed .

Second time staying here and will be back! Clean, practical, well stocked kitchen, great backyard for kids and families. Thanks for a great stay!

We have family on the Kenai Peninsula and have been looking for our go to "home away from home" for our visits...and I think we found it! Carl gave me clear directions and check in instructions before our arrival and let me know that the place was ready before the normal check in. It was exactly as described, totally clean, and had pretty much everything we needed for an extended stay. Parking is right outside the entrance for easy in and out. The decor and custom touches were very nice - especially loved the door to the unit. It was filled with light from the large windows and sliding door. The bathroom was generously sized. Bed was comfy. There were extra blankets, great for cool fall mornings. It was lovely to walk on the beach and watch the sunsets. We are very grateful that we were able to have hubby's mom and brother over for family dinner. We hope to be able to return more frequently and for longer visits now that we've found this wonderful place to stay.

Kate has a nice house that is close & convenient to restaurants & stores in Soldotna. The house was clean & quiet. We would definitely stay at this house again!

This place had a lot of room for the price. Great for a larger family. It was an older home but well cared for. The hosts were friendly and welcoming.

The place was amazing and Jackson was very accommodating. He frequently checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. House was clean and it had a great fishing spot right out front. Would recommend.

We stayed for over 6 weeks after relocating to the area and purchasing our home. The apartment was in a great location, and we appreciated having a kitchen and room to spread out since we were staying for a longer time. Mary was always very helpful and responsive. Thank you for a great stay!

It worked out fine for our needs for last-minute fishing trip during peak season. It was very basic with a bathroom, comfortable beds refrigerator, heat and a TV (was not used). Host was extremely accommodating and very passionate about getting people out on the river fishing. You do need to use bottled water for drinking and making coffee, as it is pretty metallic like a lot of Alaska water. You come here expecting exactly what you see. Book your fishing trip with scout lake adventures.

Fred's place is fantastic. Very, very, clean and comfortable. The space was well thought out and useful. Very private and peaceful location. Great place to relax and enjoy all that the Kenai Peninsula has to offer. Highly recommend!

Jamie ‘s cabin is absolutely wonderful! The location and views are spectacular. It’s serene and peaceful here and you feel right at home when you arrive. Jamie is a very thoughtful and kind host and makes sure you have everything you need! She is highly responsive to any communication and goes above and beyond to make sure you have a comfortable stay! The house is decorated beautifully and was extremely clean upon arrival. The beds are very comfortable with 100% cotton sheets and warm blankets. Kitchen is wonderfully stocked, and there is ample storage for all your gear. I had an incredible stay and I highly recommend Rustic Mountain Lake Cabins; Jamie is a fantastic host!

We went for beach combing and some R&R. This is the closest place to the beach for stays, and is very private and secure. Theres a volleyball net and place for grilling :-). Our hosts were wonderful, and even left a stuffed animal for our puppy to play with. Paradisos, a nearby eatery has good food, we recommend the greek platter, if you like gyros you wont be disappointed. - Dan and Mal.

we spent a nice time , location is intresting for go to fishing around. 5 mitute to market and Soldotona dowtown near to Kenai and Kalisof river ( 20 minutes) for sure place to comeback for other fishing trip, barbecue present and plesure to use frendly. Thank Torry for all very aprecied 😊

The place was well-stocked with amenities. The kitchen had all of the necessities, even spices and such. The place was well-kept and new. It was very nice to stay here. It was close to where we fished. The kitchen was in a separate gazebo, which was just fine. The bathroom and shower were in a separate building, but that was fine. I will stay here again.

We stayed for the weekend during our oldest son’s hockey tournament. We felt right at home! Our toddlers who aren’t the best in new places did amazing here and felt very comfortable. The cabin was beautiful and being right next tot the river was even more dreamy! Thanks for a great staycation ❤️🏒 we will be back!

Un lugar maravilloso. una gran cabaña en el medio del bosque con todo lo que se necesita para pasar unos días. todo limpio y ordenado. nos dejaron leña para hacer fuego y un detalle de bienvenida. Estuvimos 3 noches al final del viaje y nos hubiéramos quedado mucho más. Si regresamos a Alaska sin duda volveremos. gracias

First time in Alaska we wanted a central home base to explore the Kenai Peninsula. Our waterfront cabin along the Kenai River did not disappoint. Big windows for a great view from inside the cabin and a nice deck for sitting outside. Brought fish home from fishing near Coopers Landing & cleaned them and cooked them on the grill outside. Also fished right from our private dock at the cabin. Kitchen & large dining table was great for our group of 6 to pull together for breakfast before heading out each morning to explore. Fishing gear is provided on site including rods, tackle, and waders, and there is a coin operated washer/dryer for guest use as well. Our beds were comfy & bedrooms had blackout curtains for summer sleeping. Good info in our guest book. Easy communication with our hosts. Good spot to day trip to explore Homer, Seward and Soldotna. Beautiful sunrise over the river. Recommended!

Beautiful setting and comfy furniture. This is a great landing spot. The 3rd bed is in an arctic entry/addition so a bit chilly. We were welcomed by a moose stopping by the backyard for dinner. We didn’t have time to build a fire in the fire pit, but it would’ve been an awesome setting to do so. Neat place!
