Highly recommended! This place is a gem in Coonoor. And the owner is great guy! Right from getting to the property, the actual room, cleaninnes and the magical views from the property - all this were a delight for us. Additionally, the caretaker Mr. Guna is a helpful and responsive person for all your needs during your stay. The owner, Mr. Gerald, helped with some nice local suggestions and transport contacts. P.S. - Do try the fresh Dosas served in the morning breakfast, they're amazing!

The stay was exactly as expected. The place was clean, comfortable, and matched the description perfectly. Communication with the host was smooth, and the overall experience was great. Would definitely recommend!

The property is so beautiful and location at an elevation which gives you a view of a beautiful sunrise in the morning. All the elements of the property are thoughtfully curated. The garden is so pretty and they have cute pets. The plus is getting served homemade breakfast.

photos don't do justice to the beauty, peace and silence that we could feel while staying. food was amazing, all made with fresh vegetables and spices right from the farm. chef is doing a super job. native food experience. Abdul was go to guy for any help. We are extremely satisfied with the quality of food provided. Through out our stay we didn't go out for dinner as we ordered from kitchen and it was really delicious. My family loved it. Abdul has good local contacts, since it was peak season, I hired a call driver (Vijay) for 2 days given by Abdul and since Vijay was local guy, he was very helpful in taking to places and you can forget about tensions of parking your car and he knows all the traffic free routes and there are few routes only local cabs or local drivers are allowed to take. If any one is travelling in your own car, I strongly recommend you can hire local driver. Food - 5/5 Stay - 4.5/5 (height of ceiling is low in the bathroom if you are 5.9' ) Abdul thank you for your services and if you are looking for home based food you can order from the kitchen.

We booked the one with living room and stayed for 5 days, the stay was very comfortable, swiggy delivers there, you got Netflix and a very clean bathroom, Zuhaina was so sweet to us recommending good places to eat and see. The WiFi works well, if you wish to work from there it’s a plus! Coming back to this place after the treks and sightseeing was heavenly.

We had a wonderful stay at Eden. Such a charming, mimimalist, spotless house, and from its hilltop vantage has a wide vista of hills and tea estates. The lovingly tended flowers and plants add colour to the house and lawn. It is peaceful, light and airy and it was a delight to be woken up by birdsong. The best part of Eden are the hosts - Sindhu and Jose, who have together built the house and created this oasis in a quiet, clean part of Kotagiri. The South Indian breakfasts were special and they were kind enough to arrange cereal and toast as well on request. When we got stuck during a strike, they shared their dinner with us. So much hospitality and kindness! Their love for the Nilgiris is contagious and we learnt so much from our conversations. Our search for the best place to stay in Kotagiri ends at Eden!

Our stay at Stumpfields Honeysuckle was truly memorable! Nestled in beautiful natural surroundings, the place offers a peaceful retreat with lush greenery all around. The European-style architecture adds a charming touch, making the entire experience feel like a getaway in the countryside. The breakfast was fantastic—fresh, delicious, and a great way to start the day. We also loved the friendly dog on the property, who made our stay even more special. Hari, the manager, was extremely helpful and ensured we had everything we needed. The rooms and common areas were spotless, which we really appreciated. That said, there are a couple of things to keep in mind. If you’re coming in a four-wheeler, the road leading up is quite rough. The staircase to the first floor felt a little risky, so caution is needed. Also, the water in the shower was a bit muddy at times. Great for the location and peacefulness of the area. Conveniently located - You can go to the town centre in just 5 minutes by car. Beautiful rooms in a lovely private tea estate with a cute garden outside the room. The team at Trilan Cottages welcomed us warmly and were very kind,proactive in getting things arranged. We had a fantastic experience in staying at these two adjacent rooms. The rooms were sparkling clean and well maintained with a super clean attached bathroom. We had yummy home cooked style food arranged by the cook at Trilan Cottages.Need to inform them about your food requirements in advance as it’s all freshly prepared from scratch. Overall a lovely peaceful place to spend your holiday. Totally recommended!!

The stay was excellent. It’s a nice property for a group of friends or family. The host Jayanthi is nice person and honest. The caretaker and cook Chandran is very nice caretaking and prepares extremely good food. Speciality’s all south India dishes and others too. The Bunglow is well maintained it is in good location. You have scenic view of the tea garden estate right from your balcony front which is amazing. We would rate it excellent and advice the new guest to book with no ambiguity. Looking forward to repeat on same place again.

I felt right at home here. I stayed for two days, and it was like being part of one big happy family. The place was super cozy, exactly like in the photos—what you see is what you get. I even caught one of the best sunrises of my life. A friend ended up joining me for the trip, so I asked Maria if he could stay in my room. She kindly explained that it might ruffle a few feathers with the other guests, which really showed how thoughtful they are. Thankfully, Jose Uncle went the extra mile and helped find him another spot. The breakfast was a feast for the senses—not just delicious, but served with so much care by Sindhu Aunty, like a mother’s touch. One night, we sat around for candlelight stories with Jose Uncle, and he shared some tales that were the icing on the cake. Plus, I had the best company with two other couples, and we made memories to last a lifetime.

The moment I booked the room, I got a call from Najeeb sir and Ayisha Mam, to understand our tour plan and guided us accordingly. We went to Chembrapeak, Banasura Sagar dam but it is not as scenic as the view from this home. we especially enjoyed the retreat of the Moon behind the high-raised mountains.   Our entire family melted with the hospitality and affection of Ayisha mam and Najeeb sir.   Thank you so much Ayisha mam and Najeeb sir for making our trip memorable, I am certain we will not have such a trip unless we come here.
